I rented a space online and when I went there to see my space, Claudette was so gracious, even though it was almost closing time she took me around and showed me the spot that I had rented. It was an upper level unit, which absolutely wouldn't work for me. She found a suitable unit and went back with me to change units. **WARNING** I would advise staying clear from storing your personal property and sentimental items at this Public Storage Unit. We rented unit A485 which was a 10 X 10 with two doors. One door had our personal lock and secondary door had a lock from Public Storage management. Our unit was rented from 04/2022 - 12/2022. We returned at the end or 11/2022 and our unit was systematically and methodically robbed and stolen over a long term period of time where all of our personal storage boxes were opened by the useless lowlife parasites. Our unit had no forced entry on our lock and the only access to our unit was by the secondary lock managed by the Public Storage management that resides on the property. **INSIDE JOB** Public Storage was the only other party that had access to our storage unit. We filed a complaint to Public Storage Corporate. The only thing the Public Storage District Manager did was call the Police Department twice after two weeks and gave up after that. We also filed and submitted a Police report from Plantation Police department to no assistance with getting justice on these parasitical leeches. **Please store your items at a better managed location and do not become victims such as us ** read more

Reserved a storage at 911 State Rd 7 in Plantation,Fl and had to deal with a nasty piece of work name Manny. No customer service skills whatsoever and I wish I knew that the units where made of wood before reserving to put our valuables.So when I get the first chance I will find another storage because it's definately not worth the monthly cost. read more

Was immediately quoted a reasonable price, within minutes the store manager contacted me and by 1:30 the same afternoon I had rented a space. How this place got so many good reviews is beyond me. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT STORE your goods here. In April I went to this facility to rent a unit. The Manager, whatever her name is, assured us that her facility is safe, that she lives on the property and nothing can pass before her. She seemed nice and for a moment I even liked her. She even gave us a deal, a 10x10 unit at a discounted price, which sounded great at the time. I was leaving the State for a couple of months and I had to store pretty much everything I owned. The unit had two doors. One of the doors had a padlock on it with a Public Storage sticker on it. The manager told us that we could only buy one padlock instead if two because the one already on the second door belonged to the facility and it was not to be open. For some reason, I believed her and for this I will forever regret. I returned to the unit in November, for Thanksgiving, and I went to the storage to drop some more bags from my trip. When I opened the door, everything was a mess. Somebody got in and stole pretty much everything I stored, including the box with the screws and bolts for the furniture, which is unusable without. They broke everything they couldn't or didn't want to steal, including kitchen stuff, dressers and whatever small appliances I had. They even stole my high school box of pictures and tokens from middle school. I was devastated. To mention that the door was not forced in any way, the thief entered with a key. Guess for which padlock? I called police right away but because the stolen value was not that high in their opinion, they didn't do anything about it. I literally had to insist to have a report filled out. I contacted insurance, which only covers $5K, and started a claim, just to find out that I was supposed to take pictures of everything I put in the storage and provide receipts. The Manager never thought of telling us that, or that we need to get extra insurance. It's been two months and we are still dealing with the insurance claim. I contacted Corporate which I could barely get a hold of, as it's nearly impossible to get in contact with someone, and told them what happened. They told me they'll "investigate" and nothing came out of it. After many insistences from our side, they finally told us that there's nothing they can do. And that was it. No explanations, nothing; basically a "f**k you" said in a more professional way. When I called to let the manager know that we will vacate the unit and that I am disappointed in their services, she was incredibly condescending and rude, and even hang up the phone on me saying "whatever, I don't have to talk to you". It was her. She acted all nice to find out what out plans were and for how long we would be gone, and she had the perfect unit for us. Who ever gets a large unit at the price of a small unit? The ones chosen to be robbed. I hope she breaks her neck when she walks in my stolen shoes. And Public Storage, you suck. read more

Stay far away from this faculty my items were took and no one has an explanation as to what could have possibly happened. the unit had public storage lock and seal on it which means I had no access to remove the items plus the property manager June states that she see my items in the photos she has but when she opened the unit she also saw they were no longer there no doubt this was an "inside " job. My entire Experience at public storage was amazing. June was the best representative that you guys could have on staff she answered my questions very thoroughly and left me confused about nothing. I appreciate every time I came there she greeted me with a warm smile and actually cared how my day was going. My move in and move out procedure was very simple and easy to do. Hi did not have a very good experience at a previous public storage in a different state but I still use this service again and I appreciate you guys for having June on staff she deserves more!! read more

I'm always totally honest on my reviews. I have had the best experience with public storage and June, the manager at this facility. I had started with another storage company down the street and they were so rude on the phone and when I called June she was nothing but pleasant and fixed everything for me. I had a large trailer with all my stuff and she made sure that was room for me. She is more than accommodating and her son is so wonderful and helpful. Do not think twice about getting a unit here as long as June stays there. I would recommend them highly and give them six stars if I could. And I'm serious. read more

Although I needed this unit in a rush I was just disappointed by the overall condition of this public storage not only does it seem very dirty but it has paint chipping on all the doors mold and mildew on the walls in the outside walls but overall is just kind of nasty I had no choice and they had the only storage size that I could use at the time but was disappointed for what it cost on the overall condition of this facility the people were fine and very helpful but someone needs to Buy a pressure cleaner and clean this place up read more

Ripoffs. Spent way too long paying for crap. A 5x10 unit with pressed wood walls. On multiple occasions I walked in on people getting dressed. Once walked in on someone climbing out of an upper unit like they just woke up. Left in the middle of the month and they won't refund the balance. read more

This place scammed me. I had my storage rent payment on autopay and the credit card had fraud and I had to cancel it. The SAME day I was notified the autopay didn't go through I called to update my card and they said I had to pay a late fee of over $25. I repeatedly explained the situation in a calm manner and they did not care. I find this to be absurd. Don't let them scam you too! read more

I had to move quickly and went to this public storage for rates and information. A young man named Jay greeted me and answered all questions and concerns that I had. He let me know of specials and showed me the space that was available. I ended up going to a public storage nearer to where I lived and he actually called that other location to let them know that I would be on the way and to treat me right! I used this place a couple of years ago and now I'm using I again. The place is great and with lots of sizes to choose from, inside and outside. The people (Jean, Jasmine and Rick) there are very friendly and helpful. They really take the time to show you and explain all the options. There may be better prices if you reserve online. read more
