Rented a 10x10 for 3 years and price was engineered to increase every 6 months. Started at $87 and ended at $310. The whole place is rundown. The carts rubber on the wheels has stripped off. Elevators and gates are constantly broken. I have seen Section 8 housing that looks far better. With so many cleaner and more modern facilities just a few miles away, I wouldn't waste your time here. read more

Wendy Williams - how you doin? You gotta rethink your recent comment about storage units - they are not all low-down. I learned that they can be clean, climate-controlled and safe. Stuff happens and sometimes you need a place to park your stuff. If that happens to you, consider a storage unit. It was a great solution for us. We had a storage unit containing boxes of manuscripts (a family member left unpublished manuscripts and unfinished books from her published novel series). We also stored collectibles, music and movies, personal items, etc. We didn't worry about them because the building was secured (you have to enter your code to enter AND exit the parking lot or call the elevator). And each unit had a key-type padlock. The building was cool and spotlessly clean - not one piece of dirt or paper on the floor, anywhere. Even the elevator was friendly (it announced floor numbers to its passengers). They even had wheeled flatbed carts near the elevator. We were able to gain access to the unit 24/7 without issue. The parking spots were near the door so we didn't have far to go to load the car. It was easy and convenient. Recently, we decided to empty the unit because we realized we were storing items we planned on donating. We didn't want to pay a monthly fee for items we planned on giving away. The manuscripts and books went to a college affiliated with the author. The other items mostly went to the local library and Goodwill. We have some boxes in our garage - sadly not as climate controlled as SmartStop - prompting us to go through those boxes, soon! The office rep was very friendly and made our checkout a snap. Eddie is awesome! Went into SmartStop a few weeks ago to request transfer to smaller unit. Eddie and team were helpful and courteous. What made my experience extra special was the call I received letting me know I forgot some items. I was away in another county and Eddie told me what was left, I realized it was a box that needed to be discarded. He said he would take care of if for me. I was so thankful because I could not make it back in time. I offered to pay him for this but he refused and said it was his pleasure and to have a nice day, he wold take care of it for me. This place is a rip off. They are constantly raising their pricing and provide nothing worth the additional cost. It's supposed to be a temperature controlled environment but the place is often like a sauna. I have a 10x10 unit and just got notification my monthly fee will be $300. I have another unit at another location 10x 20 and only pay $160. This place is gouging it's customers. I would NEVER recommend this location or the company to ANYONE!!!!!! read more

It is becoming ridiculous to me & quite inconvenient to pay $162 per month for a unit here & you all not provide adequate means to transport heavy things to my unit.....that I pay your rate for in full each month. Booked them on others recommendations but that turned out to be wrong. There is no way to reach the manager. Phone is off, mailbox is full, and won't answer text. Three other people waiting for over 30 min. One guy parked there says he waits for his girlfriend here every day and its always like this. No answer at 1800 number. DO NOT RENT HERE!! When i was shown my unit i commented "could it be any farther from the elevator?" I was told if a closer unit became available i would be able to move into that unit. I finally found a unit that was the same size im currently in but a lot closer to the elevator. I called to see about moving into the closer unit and was told that i could move but would have to pay $122/ mo instead of the $80 im currently paying!!! So basically they will lie and tell you what you want yo hear to get you in but then give HORRIBLE customer service. When i asked if there was someone above her i could speak to before looking for a unit someplace else where they actually value their customers. I was told by the lady working the office "im very busy. Ill have someone call you" there was 1 customer in the office! They might as well have an automated kiosk to rent these units. It couldn't be any less friendly or helpful than this lady is and they would save some money that they could use for some good carts. Very disappointing. read more

Do not I repeat do not use this storage facility. They have no legitimate insurance company and the staff which are friendly have no idea how to solve the problem. I have been trying to make an insurance claim due to a leak in the roof that ruined my 1k$ mattress to no avail. The insurance company has no website and has a generic voice mail which no one calls back on. The manager says he is going to call you and never does if I didn't check back weekly I would have been forgotten. Please choose another facility as I will. read more

My account has been overcharged for the last three months. The location manager said he's been waiting for "his boss" Mickey Huarto to approve a credit and has shown me notes of my prior calls/visits to resolve then stated his boss is responsible for 12 locations and may not have read the emails. When I asked for a phone number to personally contact Mickey the local manager said he doesn't have one. How can a regional manager responsible for a significant share of business not have a phone number?. I will be calling the corporate office. The local manager has been pleasant and polite promising to correct this issue however, it's obvious I'm getting the runaround. I've rented from this location for many years when it was 2-3 other company's this is the first time customer service has been a problem. Be cautious when considering renting from this location. read more
