Holy crap I can't believe I'm writing this . Shopping at Publix my whole life all over Florida! On the past year I have thrown out so many spoiled or rotten foods from this store. I should've been keeping track! Slimy canned tuna, old pork loin, icey ice cream ALOT!!!! Molded bread. Rotten lettuce. The list goes on!!! I don't have a car to keep Bringing things back. This Publix, located at the Paradise Promenade in Davie is huge. Because of its location in this large strip mall away from the main road, it feels calmer and more relaxed than other Publix stores. The inside of the store was very clean and nice. I went to get a few over the counter items as well as some health and beauty items and every thing seemed in its right place and orderly. I love grabbing their weekly flyer to check out their BOGO. Those, to me are the best deals at Publix. Their private label items are also very good quality and you can get some hefty savings shopping generic versus national brands. The cashier was nice and pleasant. read more

Bingo found those black and white cookies, the Publix brand is tastier because it's four dollars less than the other brand . I was having a craving for Kosher dill pickles as I finished my last jar a month ago . Such a great snack , crispy ,crunchy, sour ,tasty pickles . Also found the oolong tea that not all the publix carry . This tea is so great for digestion ,brain and heart health I was told . Even the cashier who was Asian said you bought the best tea as I bough a few boxes . Yup I love good tea. Was able to pick up pistachios . These nuts are addicting. They are always found by the produce isle not the regular section with can and jar nuts . Good COVID cover up is being practice here . Parking is ample . Everyone is nice at this store. read more

This Publix is were I shop. Last Saturday April 27,2024 , I opted to order Subs on line versus in person. The order number was 871-2993, for a total of 7 subs with a follow up call by me to the Deli department . My additional request was Please, cut subs all the 7 subs in one thirds instead of half & include extra oil and vinegar on the side. No problem the gentleman I spoke with was personable. Outcome of order, all 7 subs cut in half not in thirds and no extra oil & vinegar on the side. Disappointing , I did not ask for any strange requests. read more

This location is a strange Publix for sure. I visit here for items that are not in stock at my store-university and Griffin. I am usually lucky with finding those items, hence why I continue to attempt coming here. I don't know how to describe the weirdness but I will try my best lol. It's more like a weird vibe, if that makes sense. In my opinion, I don't feel homey like I do shopping at my usual location. There seems to be less staff around in the store or at least I don't notice them. There have been some employees who have been friendly and polite, greeting hello while you are shopping but not as much as other locations. Like I previously stated, they are pretty good with keeping items in stock. I don't think I ever shopped and could not purchase what I intended to purchase. The store is very well kept and clean. Everything looks fresh and neat. I also never encountered expired items like I do at other locations. The weird vibes come mostly from fellow customers. Maybe more awkward than weird to be fair. If you are looking for specific items, you will be in luck here. Another FYI-the customer service desk is always busy with customers. I have used this Publix two times for birthday cakes! And both times Lilian came thru with the win!!! My son loved his dinosaur pull-apart cupcake cake, and my daughter her mermaid tail pull-apart cupcake cake!! I am so grateful for her! She made my babies smile big on their special day!! I actually like this Publix, but the customer Service(Particularly the Registers) can be improved. Earlier today, my friend and I experienced an unusual delay from the cashier after scanning all of our products. Seems like he immediately hid behind the register and started texting right in front of us. My friend told him to make sure his manager doesn't see what he is doing. In addition, his partner that was packing packed items together that could've easily been easily broken if pressed together while driving. For example "he" packed eggs, Almond Milk, and a jar of pickles in the same bag. I found more than one bag like this. In conclusion, I appreciate this location and everything the staff has to offer, but not complacency and disrespect. I hope this helps! read more

Very clean and well run Publix on Stirling Road at Paradise Promenade. Earlier reviews are not representative of actual store and experiences from four visits over the period of a month. From what I can see, some of the reviews have complained about the actual size of the store and the fact that it isn't bigger. I remember when this store and the neighboring community were built. The community was provided with several models to choose from and what you see is what the community itself ultimately decided upon. To gig a review based on store size is probably not the right thing to do. After all, the local residents picked the store design and size. Well built and compact store. I had the chance to speak with store manager and he indicated a store remodel was in the works. Restroom - at least what I can see from the men's room - was clean. Shelves were well stocked, bakery had all the right bells and whistles, even down to the free cookies for kids. I remember when the cookies were a lot bigger as a child. Deli was compact and seemed to be well run and quipped. It was clean. Parking was tight but I was able to quickly secure a parking spot on the few occasions I recently visited. On each of these occasions, I got stopped by insistent Girl Scouts wanting me to buy cookies. Each time, I bought at least a box of Thin Mints. /s/ William E. No supply of sales items. I just left a similar review for the store for Nova Drive in Davie. I came into this store for the bogo on Pepsi products. I did my shopping and it took me 1hr to fill the cart of $130 worth of groceries. Next, I got to the soda isle and there was no sugar Mountain dew (the item I cam in for). Waited in line for customer service and this time I was told by Ella that Publix is not offering rainchecks because of the "pandemic". Confused how this could be, unless Publix is intentionally ordering small supplies and putting the sale in the paper as a "Bait and Swap" tactic. read more

Worst pharmacy customer service. I had some prescriptions my daughter had to take before her surgery so I dropped off the prescriptions a week in advance, giving them plenty of time to have the filled. My husband picked up three of the prescriptions two days later. However, he did not know there was a fourth one. So when I called the next day to inquire they told me it would be ready within 24 hours. Two days later it was still not ready. One day later they sent it to another Publix to have it filled and which I had to go out of my way to go get. Is there a reason why Publix does not allow their employees to call customers to let them know the delays of important medications? Is there a reason that Publix could not call another Publix before the last hour to get the prescription to have it ready for me to pick up? A few months ago I witnessed a woman crying because she needed her medications that day and Publix had had her prescription for five days and had not filled it. And they couldn't fill it when she was picking it up because they did not have things in stock. And by the way, this is not the first time they've not had my medicine ready when promised. read more

I had the worst experience at this location. I went in after work and was looking for rice cakes. I've shopped here a million times. I went directly to the snack area and noticed they were out so I proceeded to leave. As I walked out toward my car I could hearing yelling "excuse me, excuse me" I looked back to find a manager and 2 cashiers practically chasing me. I was on my phone and asked my friend to hold on. Puzzled I stopped and was directed and advised that I needed to return to the store. I was asked what I was looking for and told the manager I was looking for rice cakes, but they are out. He then stated "rice cakes and an oral B toothbrush, that's what you were looking for." Still puzzled I said excuse me. At this time I was still being directed inside and as I was walking behind him I then put two and two together and realized I was being accused of shoplifting. I asked him what was going on and was told to keep walking. I then heard one of the cashiers yelling "Rick that's not her" "She's gone and went that way." The manger then tried to play things off and walks me back to the rice cake aisle and tried to assist with "locating" them. I then addressed the issue and advised that I do not steal and I'm a Site Supervisor for a local employer. This was extremely embarrassing and witnessed by many due to it being 5pm. I called the store and complained and encouraged that the cameras were reviewed to verify my account of how I was mistreated, followed outside, and profiled! Publix, Please get your deli managers a good support team... you deli manager and her assistant manager are both rockstars.. However, the staff that works in the deli are completely lost... I stood in like for 30 minutes today to get a sub... which happens and I'm aware that the lunch rush can be crazy. However, this was well before the lunch rush... One of the ladies that was making the online sub orders literally took 20 minutes to make each sub (that was with the precut meats).....I timed it... Then she began to make my sub I had to repeat what I wanted 10 times.... then she walked around the deli came back and asked me again what I wanted... then when instead of making my orders she told me to wait longer so she could make more online orders.... It took 55 minutes for me to get 2 sandwich wraps... I could have driven to a farther Publix and gotten back to my office in less time then I stood in that line.. Thank god the assistant manager stepped in and made my subs or I may just still be in that line. The deli girls think it's funny... While the line is literally all the way to the bakery they are having side conversations and giggling about who knows what... So again... Publix hire people with a little more urgency. Besides, Whole Foods, Publix is my favorite grocery store. It is clean, love the bakery, plenty of cashiers, etc. I also love their Green Wise products. Organic and great prices. I regularly purchase the Green Wise tortilla chips, salsa and veggie burgers. My son is a cub scout and we couldn't survive without them. They allow us to sell popcorn and camp cards in front of their store. So I really appreciate their dedication to community service. I will def be back (pretty much every other day). read more

We stopped by to get a gift to thank my cousin for her hospitality while we have been visiting from California. There seemed to be a limited choice of super markets in the general area. We spent some time perusing the liquor aisle since my cousin loves a good bottle of wine. There were endless bottles of wine and other soft liquor. Unfortunately we just couldn't decide on something good for my cousin. We debated looking for a liquor store, but didn't want to drive around any more that we needed to. I love this publix! There are 3 publix's within a 2 mile radius of my house and I always choose this one. I have just discovered publix subs (I know, I know, I'm a little late) and OMG did the deli lady make me the most AMAZING buffalo chicken sub!!!! They chop the tenders, roll it around in a generous amount of medium-hot buffalo sauce, and serve with fresh bleu cheese and ranch dressing. OHMYYUM!!!! At $8.50 I won't be having it very often, but its worth it maybe once or twice a month ;) The publix sushi isn't bad either if you need an occasional cheap sushi fix. read more

Oh my gosh the deli is the worst some of the employees are so rude not going back there.

ROCIO was in customer service on her phone and never greeted me. I said, "hello" twice, Rocio continued to stand in front of me starring down at her cellphone. I needed to return rotten fruit I bought from a different Publix. She never said goodbye either. Worst customer service associate ever ! I then found another associate and explained what happened, I asked her to help me find the store manager. She brought me to the manager on duty this evening. Who then apologized for the associate. I will never return to this store again. Rocio is so disrespectful ! I received my $6 and then proceed to spend $24 on last minute Mother's Day goodies. Tried the order on line hoagie service.The hoagies were ready on time both clearly labeled.But when we got them home they were both the same.The order they were to be completely different. The store very crowded. I had to eat one with all the wrong things on it.I didn't like it and ate only 1/4 of the sub and tossed it in the garbage.Some might say take it back.But to go thru all that. find parking stand in line wait for the remake.
