I needed to get some Chicken Stock and Publix had some under the private label. That was a savings over the national brand, about 20% less. I always check the nutritional information and ingredients and they were pretty much identical. Just paying for the marketing ads on the national brand...LOL... The store was very neatly organized, well lit and it had very nice staffing with nice smile on their faces. It was a pleasure shopping in here.

This was the cleanest most pristine Publix I've ever been in. It's fairly new; very modern; large; and exceptionally organized. Every shelf is in order with all the stock perfectly aligned and with all labels facing forward. Kudos to their manager and staff. There was a huge "grab and go" section of ready to eat prepared foods. I've not seen this -- to this extent -- in any of the Publix stores that we usually frequent. We were nearby and stopped in to see if they had a couple needed items. They had everything here that we hadn't found near our home. If you live in this neighborhood, you should check them out. I'm sure they are as pricey as most Publix these days, but it should still be a pleasant shopping experience.

They actually HAVE the item that is on sale! GOOD JOB!!

Publix is awesome I'm a fan. But today I am a double fan of this location versus the Coquina location on Sheridan because I went there yesterday and they had the promo for this item listed but ALL the exhibit had were 15-can packages, not the 12-can boxes that you need to purchase to get the promo. I am going to Coquina Publix's site to downgrade them for that click-bait. Well done weston publix!

Publix usually is a great place to shop. On this occasion 7 am on Friday no bread in the bakery! Was told to return at 8 am!!!! George Jenkins would be pissed if he was still with us. I have noticed that with each passing year the Publix customer service philosophy is eroding.

I love Aldi and Trader Joe's and it makes sense because they have two German brothers in common…read more The abbreviated history is that Aldi's and Trader Joe's were owned by the two brother's who fell out over whether or not to sell cigarettes. In 1962, they introduced the name Aldi, short for Albrecht-Diskont, which translates into English as Albrecht Discount. The company split into Aldi Süd and Aldi Nord, which operate thousands of stores in Europe, the United Kingdom and Australia. Aldi Süd controls the U.S. chain of Aldi stores while Aldi Nord operates in the U.S. as Trader Joe's. ALDI opened its first U.S. store in Iowa in 1976 and now has more than 2,200 stores and is headquartered in Batavia, Illinois. While Trader Joe's has great prices, Aldi will beat them and just about everyone else's prices every time. You can still signs of that German heritage all over Aldi's like in their German line of products called Deutsche Kuche, which offers offers beer, chocolate, roasted coffee, and uncured Bavarian bratwurst. If you want to save money on groceries, Aldi's is a great way to do it. In order to bring you those low prices Aldi's has instituted some cost cutting measures. If you want a cart you will need to bring a quarter and to get your money back you need to return your cart from the parking lot back to the store saving employees from having to collect the carts. You will also have to bring your own bags or pay for theirs. Sometimes I'll just grab one of their empty boxes. Lines used to be long in store because they keep their staff to a bare bones minimum but since they added self checkout I rarely wait in line anymore. I was at Sawgrass Mills Mall and needed a few items so I popped into this location near the mall on Sunrise Blvd. There are now 208 Aldi locations throughout Florida so there is always one near by when I need it. The store was clean and well organized. I was able to easily grab what I needed and I had fun checking out the new Aisle of Shame inventory where they have a lot of cleaning products and exercise equipment in anticipation of the new year. My new favorite Aldi product is the Coconut Hydration Electrolytes Blue Mix Sticks in the blue raspberry flavor. They are only 15 calories and make your water taste delicious. Thanks to them I'm carrying my Owala with me wherever I go. I also love that this Aldi had the self checkout that allowed me to get out quickly and on my way to my next adventure.

FOOD SHOPPING RED ALERT…read more.. Lots of people I know swear by the Aldi cheap food prices so this is my first Aldi adventure to see if this is truth or fable. At first glance as I enter the vestible, are a long stacknof LOCKED, shopping carts that have .25 cents imprinted on the top of the cart to rent. Then if you return the cart you are reimbursed the quarter. Also, there are no shopping bags provided. The store is much smaller than Publix but it seems to be easily navigated with wide aisles and the food sections are largely displayed on the walls. The prices for similar Publix or Winn Dixie items seem slightly lower on most items. Looking for a simple seeded rye bread was a failure, although, they did offer a large variety of private and recognizable national brands. The beer section was fully stacked and noticed that the prices were extremely competitive. The best deals were the bags of mini avocados for $3.69 instead of the competition price of $5.19 or one gallon of whole milk by Friendly Farms for $3.02. I grabbed a bag of avocados and walked to the self checkout and noticed they dont accept cash, so paid the low price on my credit card and left. After the completion of this shopping project, I would have to agree that there are deep discounted deals here and many reviewers were correct.

I'll tell myself I'm only going in for three items... and somehow leave with twenty-three. But honestly, never a complaint! They're usually well-stocked with all of our favorite items, the store is always very clean, and the staff goes above and beyond; sweet and helpful, just like every Trader Joe's I've been to. The prices are great, which is always a reason to come back (that and all the fun specialty items you can't find anywhere else). On weekends, they often have samples, which I love. although it usually ends with me buying whatever I tried. Their wine selection is my go-to, especially during the holidays. And the flowers are always in full bloom and beautifully stocked; just make sure to come early for the best picks!

The wife has me stop in for a few things that Publix does not carry but either way we still have to shop at Sams Club or my grocery bill would be enormous. At the Hydration Station the New Zealand gallon water jugs are a whopping $4.49 each which is a top tier pricing and not really sure why. Bought bananas that were mid-ripe and priced at only .24 cents each vs only a few cents more for organic bananas. The single avocados were fresh and hard to the touch and nicely priced although the same avocados in the 4-pack were mushy. The store was clean with several food stockers available for help if needed. The double thick paper bags with the carrying handles are superb and appreciated. One thing noticed here different than other grocery stores is the continual commitment to customer service and smiles everywhere. Maybe organic products cause this rare phenomenom?

The supermarket is still large and clean with organized aisles, still offering local and international items, and the prices remain reasonable. I didn't walk through the whole supermarket. I also went into the international aisle and got a can of coconut milk and browning sauce. Though the name has changed, it's still a nice place to get any items from the Caribbean and fresh produce. Can't say when I'll be back here; but whenever there's a good sale on meats and/or seafood, I will definitely come around.
