This is a great Sams location. Easy parking and pretty well stocked. Running around a Sam's Club is fun but you know whats just as fun? Getting a pizza pretzel on your way out! This is the basic pretzel with cheese and pepperoni melted on with a dip cup of marinara. SO good. Great price too of course. Lots of options in the food court!

Great prices on tires and installation.

Searching on the internet for new tires for my wife's 2003 Jeep Liberty we found what we were looking for at both Sams and Discount tire. After reviewing each business, we determined that Sams was approximately $100 cheaper that Discount after installation cost. They also didn't charge for the 5 year warranty. I decided to use Sams and was glad we did. I made an appointment and they were able to get my vehicle in as scheduled. The tires look great. I will definitely use Sams again in the future for tires.

Our preferred club to shop. So many things to choose from, the samples are always cool and you can watch them make your sushi which is really good and you know it's fresh! Love the cafe too! The berry sundae and icees are my fave

You'd mistake this for a Costco - If not for the blue color scheme.

How crazy would it be that, as a dyed-in-the-wool Costco fanatic, I ALSO sign up for Sam's? Mad - not? May not be that odd! See, we did a remod in our living room - got rid of the crap bookcases that were dead on delivery x years ago (you get what you pay for); we then saw these beautiful things at Costco that were pretty much precisely what we want! Alas, we pulled the trigger too late, unless we want to buy them online - good news is, it'll be delivered; bad news: it'll cost 43% more. So we got schooled by Costco - get it while the getting is good, or it's GONE, and it'll stay gone! As I drove up to Seminole Mall to return something, I thought: maybe Sam's would have it!!!! After all, these are such fierce competitors, if one jumped off a cliff, the other would be sure to follow! And if paying $55 membership means saving $340, I'd call it a pretty good deal. So I politely told the 'greeter' that I'm not a member but I'm there to look (but refrained from flashing my Costco cred), and she let me in. I hadn't been in a Sam's in, forever. They have updated quite a bit, and this one is VERY spacious (more so than my Altamonte Costco). Never mind that they carry many of the same products, but the pricing is often within pennies (I checked) Check out the photo on their menu: $1.50 hot dog with drink? Check. Smoothies, fro yo...check check check. That said, they offer a pizza with drink option, as well as family pizza option, neither of which is found at Costco. They also sell a cute little 500 c.c. 4-wheeler, which was on display outside. Their jungle gym choices (also see photo) are impressive - these things aren't at Costco, nor are the seemingly superior selection of office and home furniture items. But beautiful book case? UN-check :( I think I came away more impressed with Sam's than I thought I'd be. If I were a consultant at Costco, I'd counsel them to pay attention to the competition, instead of just thinking they can continue to be successful doing the same old. Their stores are beginning to age not-so-gracefully. I'd hate for my favorite retail merchant to grow obsolete. They jury is still out then. Perhaps the case could be made one day to belong to both with just one purchase - and if only there is a Sam's that's a little more convenient.

Sams Club Optical When we moved to FL, in 1994 from the NE, I started purchasing regular progressive precsription glasses & progressive shades at Sam Club locations in Stanford, Altamonte Springs, Orlando, Ocoee, & Pensacola, respectively. The coatings on the glasses peel & bubble. I typically spend $750 for 2-pairs of regular progressive glasses & 2-pair of progressive shades. Sams Club convinced me I caused the damage by leaving my glasses in the car & the intense FL sun & heat damaged the coatings. So, in 2000 I started buying expensive hard cases & carrying my glasses in my purse. The glasses continue to bubble & peel & I never ever leave my purse in the car. It's a NE no no... Money not well spent! See photos...

We stopped to pick up some things for my girlfriend birthday dinner tomorrow and was doing a little shopping we looked up on Sam's club search And it came up on Google maps they close at 830. We were in the meat dept getting steaks and 3 times staff came up and said we need to go and check out now. It was 815 pm there Attitude was very snobby I don't care about customer service. I've had a Costco membership for 25 years And never had customer service like that at Costco I purchase the same membership this year and plan on canceling it. I finally went to check out there was a line and I spoke to a lady at the front counter and I showed her it 830 pm. She argue with me and said the website says 8 PM you can't go by Google maps. The sign outside Had there hours was not lit up and you couldn't see it because it was dark outside. I will be filing a complain with corporate office. Set a picture of the hours on Google maps. Somebody in corporate needs to change it. And they need to teach her employees about customer service. Because customers pay their salary.

Lately though, I've noticed an increase in issues with spoiled or bad items in my pickup orders, and my most recent experience was the worst so far. I placed an online order for items I needed for something I was preparing and picked it up the same day. As soon as I started unloading the groceries from the back of my car, I noticed the sliced cheese I ordered had visible mold all over it. Based on the amount of mold, this clearly wasn't something that happened within the few hours between the order being shopped and me picking it up. What was more concerning was that both the employee shopping the order and the employee loading it into my vehicle should have noticed it and removed it before giving it to a customer. This is especially disappointing because it's not the first issue I've had recently with product freshness and quality from pickup orders at this location. I do like the convenience of this store and the location itself, which is why I've continued shopping here for years. However, situations like this make me question the level of quality control happening with online pickup orders. If these issues continue, I may have to reconsider whether keeping my membership still makes sense. Oh, let's not forget eye glasses, hearing aids, and a liquor store. I could go on and on. It's all about your individual preference and which club offers the best deals! The BJ's in Casselberry won't be open until December 2025. They currently are offering $15 memberships among other perks. We took advantage of the $15 membership. Today, we shopped at BJ's in Sanford. We found some great deals and left with some delicious items. One of our great purchases was Nathan's seasoned premium beef sticks. I wasn't even aware they existed. For those of you who are familiar with Nathan's hotdogs and know how wonderful they taste, as I, do, I thought to myself these have to taste good. Well, I'm here to tell you, they are delicious! Tim who works in the deli department was more than happy to slice me 1/2 lb each delicious Maple, Honey Ham and German Bologna. Because they sell in bulk, I wasn't sure if they would slice only half pounds! We discovered other great deals that we will purchase at a future date. We really enjoyed exploring all that BJ's had to offer. For those of you with children and on a budget and feel that a $60 membership was a bit steep, take advantage of BJ's $15 membership now. This is for an entire year! Happy shopping and saving everyone!

This store also carries a good supply of Klein hand tools which I prefer. The store is kept immaculatly clean, their inventory is organized, and shelves are stocked. Pricing is competitive with items I can find online but many times I come to Johnstone versus purchasing online because staff does a great job cross referencing my old parts with new stock. On my most recent visit here I needed several replacement heater restring kits for a HUV unit that supply's fresh air to our kitchen. I needed three to complete the job and bought their last one as a backup should one fail in the future. I also ordered 10 more that should arrive mid April since we use these restring kits on other equipment in the building. The heater is back in service and working as it should, hopefully we will get another 30+ years with the newer kits, only time will tell. Johnstone doesn't sell HVAC equipment or parts to the general public but I believe they will sell hand tools, mastic, Panduit straps, and other miscellaneous items non-accout holders (you might want to call to check before heading over there though). All-in all, I've always received great service from Johnstone and recommend them for all your HVAC needs.

But, I won't bore you with a list. A big change: The parking and the gas station. Costco relocated the gas station (with lower prices) off-property and created more parking. I hear complaints about how bad it is, but it's actually better, especially when I shop on a weekday night. Maybe they could use a few more handicapped spots. Most people are probably aware of the wholesale advantage - larger packages of toilet paper, water, soda, and facial tissues. But, there's more variety now. More Asian foods. Plenty of bowl options now appear down the aisles, and fresh sushi is located by the meats on an end cap. More organic food. From meat to dairy to veggies to fruits to other grocery items, Costco stocks more organic offerings than before. More affordability. The Pharmacy continues to be a source of a savings with insurance, as does the Optical department. I've been tested by the audiologist and was happy to not be under "heavy" pressure to buy hearing aids. If I did need them, the pricing is far more affordable than my ENT doctor with insurance! Periodic pop-ups or kiosks. We've taken advantage of a few over the years, like getting an extra car fob, a handheld massager, and True Classic t-shirts. Cutco Knives, Hexclad, and Vitamix make regular appearances. My wife and I find plenty here, even with a smaller household these days. It was past lunchtime and I was hungry. Also picked up some seaweed to wrap the ceviche for an on the go meal. The salmon was very good with the seaweed or maybe I was just hungry. Sweet and savory with a little kick. Since I was out and about and had leftovers in this huge container, I got creative and used my 2 empty seaweed containers so it would fit in my backpack cooler. Worked perfectly and kept it cold until I finally made it home later that evening. Overall, I survived the Saturday chaos, left with shoes that I didn't need, discovered a pretty tasty salmon ceviche meal and of course enjoyed a few samples along the way.
