Spread across one giant room are books of every genre from fiction to kids' books to business books. My eight-year-old daughter spent an hour browsing the children's book section, toy aisles, and craft area. I spent a good amount of time at the travel section. (They always have the biggest travel book section out of bookstores.)

I love a thrift store, but Quirky Natives belongs in a slightly different category. The store was founded by Heather Bisbee in 2025 as a way to give back to the community. Heather is a native Floridian with an eye for unique, quirky items that make great gifts or the perfect finishing touch for your home. Quirky Natives offers gently used items for sale, but they also carry brand-new items and artwork by local artists. Their inventory is varied, with clothing, accessories, toys, home goods, books, and art pieces available. I especially liked the vintage pieces and colorful jewelry. If you wish to donate items, a portion of the proceeds from each sale is donated to charity. According to their website, over $300 was donated last month to the Cancer Alliance of Help and Hope. Their mission is to advocate for the business interests of Delray Beach by providing tools and opportunities for small businesses to thrive. The Chamber of Commerce offers events every month like Teapot Tuesday, Wine Down Wednesday, Pinball for a Purpose, and a Fall Market You can get more information about dates and times of events on their website. They also have two visitor centers, this one across the street from the beach on Atlantic Avenue and one on the first floor of the Old School Square Garage. The visitor's center is only open during the week but I had a few hours off one day and was able to stop in to get information on the Halloween events taking place in the city. The outside of the building has public restrooms and a waterfall fountain. Inside I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Jo and Randee who not only told me everything that is going on but also sent me on my way with a bag full of magazines, maps, brochures, and happenings. The Chamber of Commerce can help you find all of the wonderful events in the city and best places to eat. I am especially looking forward to the Witches Ride down Atlantic Avenue and the Parade of Costumes. If you have kids don't miss Trick or Treating on the Ave. The ladies also told me about Nature's Palette, Art Inspired by the Earth, a new glass exhibit at the Cornell Art Museum. There is always something culturally cool going on in Delray Beach and the Chamber of Commerce is just the organization to help businesses thrive, foster people meeting each other, and plug you in to the best of what the city has to offer.

I highly recommend the native soul white sage and lavender is my favorite and likewise with the smudge sticks_ white sage/lavender (if they have them in stock which is rare) -I was referred here by a Boca beauty, Academy, instructor, Miss Celeste. She recommended this store to me and I gotta say now I'm hooked. I don't just live around the corner. It's a pretty far way away from me but the drive is always well worth it.
