Make sure you keep track of all your items at the register and that they make it into your cart. We constantly get home and discover things missing. Today we couldn't find a ribeye stake that Riley the cashier asked if I wanted it in a plastic bag I said yes because of blood but it didn't make it into my cart or recycle bags. I couldn't find the receipt so customer service was no help when I returned to the store and Riley went home for the day. We shop there every week sometimes twice a week. Definitely gonna keep track of the receipts going forward. read more

This store is very clean and well stocked with a great variety of foods. The reason I came on a busy Friday was to buy lunch for my sons and pick up some things for dinner. We are staying at the Embassy suites and I did not want to eat in their restaurant. They add 18percent gratuity in a very covert way on the bill. And it pisses me off. Anyways we found fresh Italian rollups., fried chicken , roaster chicken, sushi and soups We also picked up chips and salsa. You can order sandwiches custom made and there were people in line waiting to order, so it would seem that they are popular. I like this store and it is an easy safe walk from the embassy suites. read more

We came to this FtLauderdale location for a short trip to visit my boys and picked up a quick meal before an Inter Miami soccer game. I know & love hydrangeas: the many bright & subtle colors, beautiful white & green buds, too. I spent a lifetime at the Jersey Shore where I learned to equate summer beach time ushered in with hydrangeas. So when I saw hydrangeas at Publix, of course I grabbed a few bunches. However, when I got home and gathered them into a vase, I learned that the purple buds were SPRAY PAINTED. As you can see in the photos, several green leaves retained the purple overspray. Shame on you, Publix, for your deceit as well as poisoning these blooms. It never occurred to me to check flowers for paint, even when displayed in naturally occurring colors. But I will now. And probably stick with Trader Joe's. read more

I went to get some pasta and I was very happy to see self checkout registers. I know many people do not like them....but like everything, there's some people that do, some that don't. I don't mind scanning my own items and bagging my own groceries. I find that quicker and more efficient than waiting in a line for 3-5 people in front of me. The pasta selection was good as always... I chose the Publix brand over the Barilla (I never used to buy Barilla because of their POOR standing on Human Rights...yes, they have seemed to have turned the corner the past 10 years, but still I am not fully convinced). read more

Medium size grocery store with Pharmacy. Prices seemed OK. Within easy walking distance from our hotel, and, we ended up stopping in twice. I needed to pick up a travel size of some missing essentials, and my brother needed a tube of KrazyGlue. Both were available per expected prices. I have visited this Publix location throughout the years but not too often. I have shopped here in the past when I went shopping at Total Wine back in the day. Then my brother lived in the area and I then wound up working down the block. I am not sure if this is correct, but I feel like this location is larger in size than most locations. This Publix is definitely busy with tourists. So busy with tourists that there is a large section of souvenirs and necessities you need while traveling. My last visit here was somewhat overwhelming. I felt like everyone was in my personal space, which made it more difficult to shop. After that happened for the third time, I just accelerated my shopping and left as soon as possible. I was excited though because this location had a cheese I could only find at Doris Market, which is nowhere near my usual travels. Every time I have visited this location, it was busy. The parking lot is busy but I have always found parking not too far away. The store is usually clean and very bright. Like all Publix locations, the prices are kind of steep but those BOGOs can save us most times! This store is in a good location and you can complete many errands in this shopping center. read more

Well, I've never seen this at a Publix before. They have a Starbucks inside. And yes, I have to start off this review that way. I'm a Starbucks aficionado, so this was a lovely surprise. That being said, I imagine this has to do with the area. This is a fancier Publix than I'm used to. Sure, it's in a plaza and there's plenty of parking, but have you seen the plaza? There are fountains, tastefully decorated, greeting you. There are also stores upon stores. What isn't in the plaza seriously? Gyms, banks, etc. As for the Publix itself, it's spacious, organized, and it seems they're remodeling. At least that's what I say by the cashier when I went. They had limited hours. If it caters to so many with minimal issues, I can't wait to see what they do when they finish remodeling. Easily one of the better Publix I've gone to. read more

***BAKERY REVIEW*** I decided to enjoy and share the nice snacks of empanadas or other yummies for a large group during the week of meetings. On 04/06/22, around 12:30pm decide to visit this Publix Bakery location. Interestingly, I asked about the four burnt empanadas setting out for offer and all the other empanadas (spinach, etc.) but the beef were all burnt. One of the many women in the bakery looked up and walked over to respond by saying "Make up your mind, you want burnt or not burnt" I mean, which one? Of course, I am looking ⁉⁉⁉ as this was my FIRST time ever visiting the location and absolutely do not know her. Yuck! As a result, that was the last time I plan to visit that location ever. Now, what I thought was pretty interesting was that she felt she could speak to a CUSTOMER in such a way. That form of tantrum and outburst was definitely one that sitting for a long time. Saturday, January 21st, 2023, 2 pp between 5pm-6pm total $44.57 for 1 sub, 1 wrap, 3 lg soups Long line, 1 worker but eventually 2 workers, he completely overlooked me waiting like a ghost and spoke to the two men behind me, the men stated "she's next in line", only one side stocked to prepare sandwiches instead of the usual both sides, more importantly 3 sandwich special promos displayed on glass, 2 of which both workers stated they never heard of, when I peeled it off to hand them, they didn't know how or want to attempt to make it, people before and after me including me were asking questions about the promo sandwiches, they couldn't answer and refused to make forcing customers to go for the usual, couldn't make the wrap properly and wrapped it twice with two wraps, soup levels were low or empty, everyone wanted soups and it was between 5pm-6pm.....in my last review, I mentioned there were low or no soups and I asked when they stopped serving them and she said "6pm or 7pm I don't know", well, now it's 5pm-6pm and there still isn't soups so what's the deal here. This entire department, team and management requires an overhaul. Every aspect of it is being poorly operated and it's not just the excuses of it's late or the holidays or understaffed or only 1x-3x this has occurred, it's every time and that's a major issue. Get it together folks and do better. read more

Once that was done, they verified our identities/address and we got our shots. They have chairs for waiting but there was no wait time for us. In and out within 10min. I typically go to this Publix on my way home from work, but I had a surprisingly good experience this time. Employee Justin (in the bakery) was outstanding. He could've just pointed me in the direction of the garlic sauce I wanted, but he went out of his way to grab it and bring it to me! Cashier Susie was the cutest woman alive. So sweet and pleasant, it's a nice mixup. I can't believe she's been there as long as she has, give the lady a raise! The bagger Jason, I recognize and per usual he does great. This is my favorite Publix! there's a Starbucks inside , grab your favorite coffee to sip on while you shop! The women working at the deli counter are so nice and pleasant. They are fast and friendly. It can get crowded but they do their best to move the line along. Great selection of freshly baked breads. The thin cut is my favorite for sandwiches. Produce is fresh and they have a lot of options available. Large cold brew coffee selection with flavored creamers! check out is always quick and easy. Parking can be a bit of a pain due to all the stores in the same complex but be patient , you will always find parking! read more

This might be an unfair review for Publix because I did not shop at the store, but I went to the Starbucks inside the store. This review is about the Starbucks. I ordered a chai latte. They made it with coffee. If you know anything about chai, you'll see immediately why this was so heinous. If not, let me explain. Chai is tea. You don't mix tea and coffee. Ever. For any reason. It's simply not done. Coffee is the most vile substance on the planet to me. I cannot drink it. Even the smell of it can turn my stomach. So imagine how I felt when I went to sip on my delicious Venti soy chai, no water, no foam, six pumps and instead got coffee. Fail. Epic fail. Sorry, Publix. But it's your Starbucks. read more

No matter how you stretch your imagination, there isn't a Publix around that can begin to compare with a Wegman's. However, setting that aside and since there are no Wegman's (boo hoo..I'm crying) in or around the SoFlo area, I'd have to say that this particular Publix is one of the best by far. The prices are about equal to all other larger super markets, the place is generally clean and the aisles are not always so darn clutter with boxes and employees constant busy stocking shelves. The best part is that they have some things the other Publix markets don't have. A good selection of frozen fishing baits, frozen rabbit, a selection of duck thighs and breasts and quail, just to name a few of the more off beat ones. They also have a good wine and beer selection, but of course it doesn't begin to compete with Total Wines which is just a few store fronts away. read more

We don't shop at this particular Publix much as there is one close by our house. But we sometimes stop by after our beer/alcohol run at Total Wines next door. This particular Publix is huge. I can count maybe 40 isles, which gives you more selections. Items being displayed is organized and you can just about find anything here. The staff is usually pretty friendly during our visits. Maybe because of it's location, I don't find the prices in this location are not very competitive compare to other supermarkets, or even other Publixs for that matter. This place is almost busy all the time. I do see a lot of tourists here picking up some items to take back with them in their hotel rooms. Since it's so close to the Port Everglades, I wouldn't be surprises many of the charter yachts get their food here. I wouldn't be shopping here all the time, but it sure is interesting people watching here as you can probably see shoppers from all over the world. read more

I've always had a mental block about writing Publix reviews because I keep forgetting that one Publix Store can always be better than another. I have written one Publix review and this would be my second. For starters, this Publix, being in Harbor Shops in Ft. Lauderdale is a natural for weekly shopping because for one reason or another, Harbor Shops has so many convenient businesses in there that I love to go to, so why not just get the shopping done at the Publix here. Boutiques, an LA Fitness, restaurants and most of all a large Total Wine and Spirits and Ace Hardware are right next door, and I find myself often going there. Well, this Publix lives up to the businesses around it.. It is so much larger and offers much more merchandise per square foot than the largest Publix stores I have been in. The produce section can be found on the right side and to the back of the store, and takes up half the right side of the open area and so much room to move. Well organized and clean, and the produce is merchandized so well and always full. Why does the produce here seem fresher than the other Publix stores I have shopped at? I guess that is something, Publix should figure out. There are well marked isles going down to the other end of the store, and all the major sections, such as Dairy, Meat and Produce are exactly where you would expect them to be. Most Publix lacks a good, fresh meat variety and the exact cuts that I have looked for, but here, I have always found what I needed here and if you need help here, which often I do, there seems to be someone around that department to help. As I was going towards he East side of the store and to the front, low and behold, I struck Gold!!! Most Publix stores have wine isles or sections, this Publix has the whole corner set up like it's own wine store. I guess having Total Wine right there may be their incentive, but this wine section is better than any Publix I have been to. I have never had more than one person ahead of me at the checkout here, and it is quick. The staff is really friendly and I always see people working in all the isles, any day of the week. I do not really love grocery shopping, but the Publix in Harbor Shops sure makes it a lot more pleasant. If you work out at LA Fitness or if you love to shop at the stores in here, especially Total Wine or Ace Hardware, I say, get your weekly shopping done here are Publix. read more

Came for the "Pub Subs" which all whole subs are on sale for $5.99 this week. I got the chicken tender sub which never disappoints. The service was quick and good and the food was fresh and tasty definitely will be back many more times. Only one negative, they didn't have any hot sauce in the condiment section which they usually do, but everything else was stocked to the brink. Still 5 stars! read more

@7:50am this morning on 6.3.23, I visited Publix 1940 Cordova Fort Lauderdale Florida 33316 for groceries. When I was pushing my shopping cart to hygienic products, there were 2 Publix employees talking with each other blocking my path. I had to push my cart down the baby products in order to access the correct aisle. Later, a customer politely asked the Publix employee, "where are baby wipes?" The Publix employee doesn't know! I informed the patient customer that the aisle for baby wipes & other baby products are on the next aisle because I just came from there. When I visited the bakery area to look @ empanadas selection, Rose, an overweight African American woman with braided dregs was extremely rude to me. I never interrupted her when she was conversing with her co workers who were decorating cookies. When I made eye contact with Rose, she merely looked @ me with an angry frown on her face; clearly irritated that I'm bothering her @ her workplace & said, "can I help you?" with her BAD attitude. During the entire process from when I gave Rose my choice of items & how many for each order, she has NO customer service & terrible attitude to me. I felt very uncomfortable being there & wanted to cancel the entire order with her. Customers like me pay so much money to buy our groceries @ Publix but we do NOT want the attitude. I can understand that sometimes people have a bad day but then she should NOT be @ work if she's having a bad day. Rose should NOT be working with customers if she has no good, kind & hospitable intentions to assist another human being. I feel that Rose is racist against other people who are different from her & she should be FIRED. My husband repeatedly applied to work @ this Publix as bagger but he never received any phone call. He has many years of experience in law enforcement & working with people but management @ this Publix are uninterested because he's not like Rose @ the bakery. read more

this Publix is close to perfect . I say this because their customer service is fantastic. Each aisle is very clean , very tidy. I also love how the yogurt is a refrigerated and not open and out. I would recommend this Publix over Dania Beach, Hollywood/ Sheridan Street publix any day. read more

Senior hours, (only Tues and Weds) are a joke. Store was jammed with no carts, toilet paper, small selection of meats and other needed items. A collossal waste of time for seniors. Try Whole Foods or Fresh Market who have much better hours for seniors. read more

A nicer, cleaner, better stocked large-sized Publix, obviously catering to tourists and long term vacationers in and around central Beach Fort Lauderdale looking at some of the nontraditional items they carry. I found some rare castille bars of soap here once! This one can be likened to an upscale Wally World marketplace focusing mostly on upper scale grocery selection, if that would ever in life exist. Minus one star for the higher prices than other Publix stores, but they also stock a WHOLE lot more items and random stuff. read more

This is a great Publix! I love that it is always clean, well lit and stocked. And if you can't find something- there are always plenty of friendly people who will direct you to what you are looking for. And here's another surprise- there are always plenty of cashiers so the wait time is minimal. Plenty of parking with easy access. At this Publix shopping is definitely NOT a pleasure. I went to buy a few items today including some marked down meat. Well when I went to check out the cashier was about to charge me full price. When I said the meat was on sail she ran off, presumably to speak to a supervisor. Whoever she was had to be paged. Then this woman ran off and the cashier proceeded to ring up groceries for other customers behind me on line. And I waited. And waited. The meat section was at most a 20 second walk from the cashier. Did this supervisor decide to take a dump instead of doing her job? I will never know. I simply walked out. I will not return to this Publix. read more
