Trader Joe's is a great store! They play great music so you can stroll and bop as you shop. The unique product lines are so delicious! Their breads, crackers, snacks to name a few. Their chocolate items are really great too and they have new and interesting products all the time, as well as seasonal items. Their fresh cut flowers are always very hard to pass without picking up a bunch! Tonight I am trying a frozen pasta .... Their hummus is my most recent obsession along with their large variety of cheese and crackers. The produce section has some nice items but for me it is lacking variety and I always end up at Publix and or Whole Foods for things like romaine lettuce and broccolirabe. I came for just one thing and left with so much more. I am a big fan of this chain. I like the items they carry and I try to try something new every time I am here. I came for chocolates and ended up buying Pumpkin Spread. I don't know what it is but it sounds delicious. I bought Super Bread because I needed something to spread the Pumpkin Spread on. That Super Bread looked good it had lots of little seeds inside. I happened to notice the dark chocolate peanut butter cups on the shelf. I remembered the ad and got them. Everyone at my job was talking about how incredibly addicting they are. After that, I finally found my chocolate bars and ran but not before grabbing chocolate-covered cherries and a few other things lol. This particular store is located in a high traffic area. Came here after work to get my daughter the new seasonal stuffing flavored popcorn that she has been talking about nonstop. Success! They even had the returning stuffing chips and decided to pick up a bag for myself. There were many more seasonal displays on the endcaps that I will definitely have to look more into when I have the chance to stop in again. Hopefully, I will soon see the rosemary nut mix that they have every year, as I tend to stock up on those to last me the year. Compared to others of this chain, this Trader Joe's is whatever. Don't get me wrong, I'm still a fan, but I just feel that this one lacks products that others do have. At least the couple of times I've gone, it seems to be the case. I do have to say though that compared to others, I don't feel this one gets ridiculous lines. I've gone on two separate occasions during these COVID-laden times and it's been pretty good. No insanity. Then again, it may be the time? Who knows. Shrug. I love Trader Joe's. The staff at this location are extremely helpful and nice. This has become my number one grocery store. While they don't carry everything you want, I regularly save 30% over Publix prices. I regularly buy wine, frozen seafood, coffee, cheese, eggs, bacon and nuts. The produce is fresh as well. I thought I'd been to more TJ's but looking back at my reviews, it's only been four (Charlotte, Brookline, Kettering and Raleigh). This one is much like the others, though it seems a little roomier. Still the same stuff on display - beer and wine, ready-to-heat, lots of cheeses, salads, produce and meats. The frozen section is definitely excellent. Today's visit was not that busy. The store had some customers but not many. The stock was in great shape and prices were clearly displayed. Many organic items and foods "free" of gluten or whatnot. Prices aren't low but there are some specials here and there. I've been shopping at Trader Joe's for over 15 years. When I lived in Maryland they had a store there. Most of their stores are standard size so this is not a huge grocery store. People always ask what makes Trader Joe's different. I think it's their name brand specialty items. Here is a list of my favorite Trader Joe items. Nuts: : almonds, walnuts, cashews, pecans They sell the nuts in 1 pound bag and also individual little bag sizes. They've always had the best price in town for nuts. Nutbutters: love that they have salt free peanut butter as well as sugar free peanutbutter and almond butter. Gluten free pumpkin pancake mix. Im not gluten free However my friend who is turned me on to these pancakes they are amazing. Only in stores fall through early. winter. Frozen salmon and mahi. Wild Alaskan salmon at a fraction of the price of other stores. Almond, rice, coconut, soy milks. They have both unsweetened and sweetened. Flowers: beautiful orchids as well as a huge variety of fresh cut flowers. Great wine selection Trader Joe's brand of wine is about $5 a bottle. They get a Italian Prosecco Magnum bottle for $15 every year that sells out quickly. Pre-Covid they had a tasting counter where every weekend they would let you try different foods. So I couldn't figure out why I put on weight after eating all those boxes of dark chocolate covered peanut butter cups.... It's my regular spot for reasonably priced oat milk, peanuts, jalapeno-lime wraps, and trail mixes. But also their frozen fruit and veggies are incredible also. Founder Joe Coulombe opened the first Trader Joe's in 1967 in Pasadena, California. He is the Joe the chain is named for. He based his tropical theme off of the Tiki culture that was popular in the 50's and 60's. Since 1979 Trader Joe's has been owned by the German Albrecht family who also own Aldi's. I try to go to Trader Joe's every couple of weeks. I could never do all of my shopping there but there are a few products I always like to have like their 21 seasoning salute. I am also a fan of their honey shrimp, pineapple juice, chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches, inexpensive flowers, chocolate croissants, seasonal candles, ad prosciutto flatbread. I especially love to visit Trader Joe's for their seasonal products. Fall is my favorite time to go when they have a bounty of apple and pumpkin spice items. This year they are offering bat and ghost potato shaped chips, Halloween gummies, a gingerbread haunted house, pumpkins and gourds, honey crisp apple and pumpkin vanilla scented candles, pumpkin butter and muffin mix, pumpkin spice coffee and cookies, pumpkin spice tea, harvest shaped chocolates, pumpkin body butter, pumpkin ale, maple sugar candy, a maple syrup sampler, apple cider and apple cider cookies, and so much more. This Trader Joe's opened in 2015 on Federal Highway. Each store has paintings in the wall unique to its location and this store has the historic Stranahan House and Bonnet House on its walls. This location was fully stocked with all of the items I wanted to buy and everything was neat and arranged well. If I am in the area I make a point to stop and grab my favorite items, some of which are those one of a kind cult items Trader Joe's is famous for. read more

I purchased the garlic & herb dough, regular pizza sauce, pepperonis, and mozzarella cheese. It was the best pizza I've ever made! It was so affordable and easy to make! Being a grocery store sale and price-conscious shopper, I'm surprised that Trader Joe's has reached the top of my grocery store rotation. TJ's doesn't even have sales! It doesn't cover all my shopping list (meats are too high except for ground turkey), but covers most of my "staples." The store is pretty clean and spotless. Especially during the pandemic, this outlet makes sure capacity control is in effect at all times. Usually there is a socially distanced line outside, and staff control the entrance and exit doors. The "cart" people sanitize each cart returned. I like that the checkout lines are really short now, or non-existent due to the crowd control. It's fun to try TJ's branded and unique products that have become my favorites such as their frozen sui mais, Giant Peruvian Inca corn, Herb popcorn, and reasonably priced domestic cheeses. I found it a bit silly that every refrigerated vegetable is wrapped in plastic, but now in these COVID times, I'm glad they do. Every 10 days or so I do a repeat cart route getting my "staples" of spinach, arugula, green onions, lemons, eggs, milk, cheese, soups, salad dressing, snacks, etc. And wine, which is a staple for me LOL! TJ's figured out how to procure and market decent and decently priced wines from around the world. My current favorite everyday buttery Chardonnay is Harken, and it's a bit cheaper here than anywhere else. The staff are friendly and helpful. Returns and exchanges are done without question. I had a fantastic time shopping at this location of Trader Joe's. Each person on the staff from the door greeter to the cashier were super friendly! I asked to find the infamous mandarin chicken frozen dinner from a person stocking items and once I told her I was a newbie, she took the time to show me around and gave a few wonderful suggestions to try. Out getting provisions and came here as I know it has all my comfort foods ie: bananas always $.19 each,Belgian endive,nuts,Valrhona Dark Chocolate with a high Cacao percentage. My absolute favorite I thought they would be sold out of is their liquid hand soap in Pink Grapefruit $2.99 there was plenty on the shelf. Also I got more comfort items Soft Black Licorice Twists from New Zealand at this writing I successfully had eaten the entire 8 oz bag lol. Also my son wanted the shooting star cookies I saw dark chocolate stars but instead got Animal Cookies a classic favorite. As well as at the register I got a tin of their ginger mints.
