This store is awesome. They host paint nights and serve samples of alcoholic slushies and any bottle of wine they sell. That's right! Like the look of something but don't want to buy it, take it home, and end up hating it? Ask them for a sample. Everything is open bottle. So convenient! One lady told me that the mall even allows you to sip your slushies in the building, because they're inconspicuous and contain about the same alcohol percentage as a beer. And, let me tell you, they are tasty! They have a Grinch-themed one for Xmas right now. :) Unquestionably, my favorite thing about this place is their discounts! The first time I purchased from here, I got about 15% off the two bottles I purchased. This time, when I asked for a discount on two $15 bottles of wine, the staff member reminded me that they normally only give case discounts, buuuuuuut she'd only charge me $10.95 for each bottle this time. So I bought four. Now that's a great deal! I highly recommend stopping by this shop if you're looking for interesting liqueurs, wines, beers, paintings, gifts, and even some Game of Thrones-styled merch.

Sometimes I go to the mall to spy on my teenager who is there with his friends. You know what I always look forward to? Sangria slushees from The Winey Wench. You can get them in multiple sizes and strengths. Extra shot? No problemo. The Winey Wench has got you. Try before you buy. They'll give you a sample. The store front also has a variety of wine to take home. I appreciate the knowledgeable staff, for the most part. I'm not going to remove a star for the new girl. She's grumpy. No smiles. No help, but she poured my slushee like a champ, so I'm good. Grumpy McGrumperson might have just been having a bad day. She needs a wine slushee. This is the only store in the mall where I can feel a confident, solid five stars are in order. No questions asked. It pairs nicely with some Godiva chocolate at the other side of the mall, and bonus. You're working off your wine and chocolate calories by that walk.

Stopped in on Christmas Eve for a last minute bottle of rum for my rum cake. Quickly found the…read morebottle I was looking for and price clearly showed $21.99 and there was multiple bottles in the row not just one. Upon checking out the bottle rang up $26.99 so I advised the cashier the bottle should be 21.99 and I explained where I found the bottle so that they can go do a price check. The cashier then sent me over to another register and the gentleman that went to do the price check started to ring me out and although it was an error In their pricing he advised "the bottle was in the wrong spot" even though it was an entire row and said he can offer me the bottle at 23.99 instead of the $26 that it had originally rang up. I get that mistakes happen but the bottle should have been honored at the price that was shown on the shelf not a made up price in between just because. I know it's just a couple dollars but its the principle for me and the fact that the man that did the price check tried to say that someone placed that bottle in the wrong spot when it was clearly an error on the store being that the entire row was the same bottle. This is why I normally stick to ABC liquor.

The store already has a good stock selection, but they are also prominent enough to regularly have good store picks of some quality stuff. They are relatively fair in their allocation distribution, often coinciding with those store pick bottle drops. Michael and the staff are knowledgeable, accommodating, and are passionate about their craft. I've been in line for a few of their bottle drops and appreciate when they come out to provide samples of their offerings. Their prices are a little higher than MSRP for those allocation bottles, but still mostly within reason.

What a steal. While the prices aren't as cheap as the Neighborhood Wal-Mart store on Hillsborough, it's certainly a lot closer to home, and sometimes you can save in gas by simply buying something a dollar or two more expensive. This liquor store is located next to Dagwood's in the Winn-Dixie plaza at Sheldon & Waters, which despite the smell at that intersection, is a decent nice place.

It is quite chill and laid back. Take all the time you want to booze or do a quick dash, both work fine. I believe the cashier is the owner/manager, ask him anything about liqueur, wine, beer... he has the answer. I also really appreciate that when I come in he always tells me about specials, sales & closeouts. Pricing isn't too bad. Some items tend to be a bit higher than say the sale at Walgreens or Winn Dixie. I have been able to find more than a few great bargains here, as well as some items I can't find at other locations. Easy access. What's a girl to do? Stop into the closet liquor store around or on the way home.

The prices…read morewere already high, but not so much so that it made it worth it to drive a little further. But the prices now.. are freaking RIDICULOUS. So much so that I can feel the corporate greed when I walk in the doors. They will place tags on certain items that say "the price is down and will stay down"... HAHAHAHA! Ok. They've dropped the prices on items that aren't every day household staples yet raised the prices on literally everything else in the store. The milk I buy was $3 and some change in 2021. It's now almost $7. The I've cream I buy used to be just under $5 a pint but frequently (multiple times a month) had BOGO deals on it. Now it's almost $7 a pint and you rarely see BOGO's anymore... and really, you rarely see BOGO's on anything in this store anymore. Winn-Dixie is the perfect representation of corporate greed and capitalism.. the inflation rate in this area for food is 5.9%, yet Winn-Dixie (claiming increases are due to inflation) has inflated the prices by double or more for most of their products. I'm no mathematician, but the prices Fo their groceries certainly aren't on par with inflation. I'll drive the extra few miles and go to Aldi. Even Target and Publix has better prices and deals.. the amount I spend on groceries at Target, for instance, would be at least double at Winn-Dixie.
