Great location. Always has parking. Friendly employees. With 3 locations within a mile of each other, this location is the easiest to get in and out of. This Publix is by far the worst Publix. I have lived here 33 years....Everything is stale in the bakery. The meat is black the next day. I'm not going to say names but they change the expiration date. It's time for a renovation. As opposed of doing commercials make sure that the product that you guys are selling is fresh. go to Publix on the 20th for example and they have an olive bar everyone is super nice everything looks remodeled even the one on 107 and Kendall is renovated slightly. read more

I came into publix for a couple of things and I get in line to purchase my items through the 10 items or less line. The chashier (a young man) was helping out the girl in front of me and as he is finishing up, the unfriendly manager tells the kid to get off the register because he shouldn't be there. So, instead of the manager telling him he should help me first since im in line and have been waiting, and then go do the other task, he turns the register off, turns, and walks away. As far as I know I am not a ghost nor have special super powers that make me invisible. Interestingly enough, this is my second time in this publix and the second time this has happened to me. I will never come to this publix again. No customer service. Very disappointed. read more

This is my top 2 Publix store. At first I liked the idea of going to a Publix nearby my job but then I decided to keep on going to this one at least once a week because is also very nice, clean, and organized in a way that I can remember where to go. I've been shopping at Publix my whole life, and I see no reason to stop. I love this chain of supermarkets. This particular location I want to recognize a certain person. It has been on several different occasions that this person has made my shopping experience delightful. His name is "Tein", this gentleman is always in a cheerful mood and looking to please anyone he comes in contact with. He went out of his way to make my son feel special and important. To me it takes a special person to stop for just a moment while being busy to make one child feel on top of the world. To you sir I want to say thank you! Tein is truly an asset to this Publix location and I hope he can get some type of special recognition for his spectacular efforts to making customers feel they chose the right supermarket to shop at. For a Publix in The Palms at Town & Country, I expected a bit more. Parking ample, employees friendly, easy to find everything, but horrible, horrible lack of air conditioner. It may have just been the day I went, but wow, I was just pleased when we left. It felt like I was switching one sauna for another. I measure by three different things in comparison to Taco Bell: DECOR: Publix is a grocery store so they don't really have an ideal dining situation. Some Publixs(es?) will have a small dining area while others will only have outdoor seating or benches. This Publix in particular has only outdoor benches (no table). If you need a guaranteed place to sit down at, you may want to consider Taco Bell. I can't really discredit their dining situation given that Publix is a grocery store. So, I'll throw 'em a star for decor. SERVICE: The Publix employees are always friendly. Whether you order in person or online the sub always comes out accurate to what you wanted. A star for service. FOOD: If you've ever had a Publix sub you know it's the Bees Knees, the Creme de la Creme, the Holy Grail, the Fountain of Youth! The Chicken Tender Sub is a particularly delicious delicacy here. The best part is that you can add Buffalo sauce on the sub. I always will grab a packet of bleu cheese from the salad area to give my sub that extra boost in flavor. Hands down three stars for food. FINAL VERDICT: Is Taco Bell better? Nope. Here's a tip in case you didn't know, every week Publix has a sub on sale where you can buy a whole sub for around $5.99. That is an unbeatable deal! I absolutely love this Publix ! I don't go to any other Publix but this one for my groceries because all items are fresh and the service is amazing ! This is a true ideal Publix that we see on TV. When I came with my son last time the person who bagged my groceries was so amazing he was talking with my son and at the end told him to wait and went to blow a publix ballon for him and that made both me and my son smile ! What prompted me to do the review is I always get my cakes for every occasion from publix this time I put the order in last minute about one day before for a Spider-Man cake for my sons birthday and when I picked it up it was beautiful ! I love this publix!!!! Parking issssss a pleasure , cashiers are nice. The isles are a little small but it's kinda cozy in my opinion. I try to stay away from all deli because it is kinda slow. However If you go early you will not need to wait in line. The lady that cooks the Publix aprons recipes is very nice,she will even give you tips on the recipes. It's right of the turnpike so accessing the highway is easy. It's located inside a shopping center so it is a little annoying to get into the place. Lots of parking in a really big shopping plaza it's. Ice to be able to add grocery shopping with going to 24 hour fitness. I always get the chicken wings 5 for 3.50 get a sample wing and you gave half dozen lots of meat on them. The bakery has really good bread and you can also find mark downs on some items. read more

I've lived all around the Kendall/Pinecrest area and this is by far the best Publix I've ever been too! The space is always clean, organized and fully stocked. But most of all the PEOPLE that work there make doing a chore like grocery shopping a joy! I went once after a long day of work with my boyfriend and my credit card wasn't working. We had rushed to get food so neither of us had an alternative mode of payment. They were so respectful, helpful and all (5 of them) came outside to chase us to the car. A young, intelligent and nice man named Alex said the meal was on them. :) A Publix like this is a breath of fresh air in Miami where everyone is rushing, only concerned about themselves and fail to take the time to care or be personable. The pharmacy at the Publix on Mills road in Kendall, Florida is fantastic. The head pharmacist is Isabel and she is extremely polite and always gets my prescriptions filed on a timely basis. It's been so many years since I started shopping at this Publix. I had one bad experience few years back when I ordered pumpkins for kids school but the store manager was out that time and someone else took care of me. All other time, I'm very happy with this location compare to other ones in our area. Store is always clean and their staffs are very friendly and have good spirits of hospitality. I have purchased alcohol from this location multiple times previously, but today when the cashier checked my ID she wasn't sure if it was real. I understand that fake IDs are a problem especially with today's savvy generation able to make identical fakes. She asked me to go over to the counter where the lottery tickets are sold so they could scan my ID. I was definitely confused but I know if a customer wanting to purchase alcohol has to look over 30 in order to not get asked for an ID. I am 22 so I understand why I wouldn't look over 30 but to ask me to go over and get it scanned as if it were fake? Waste of my time and their own. As I was walking over it fell out of my ID pouch that I hold it in so I don't lose it. My ID was nowhere to be found from the register I was at to the area that scans IDs, so obviously I couldn't purchase alcohol as I now don't have the ID on me anymore. I understand that there are probably policies, but the whole experience just ruined my day and now I have to go to the DMV to get a new ID when all I was trying to do was buy a case of Angry Orchard and a case of Truly's. read more

OK..so I would never write a review for Publix but the service was so great that I really could not believe I was in Miami. I am used to getting the "go F yourself look" that everyone gives in this city so when I walked in and was greeted by every single person that worked there I was pleasantly surprised. It is a smaller Publix but everything was super organized and the check out was quick and easy. I had about 5 people ask me if I needed help which again never happens in the Publix in the crossings.
