I would improve every aspect about them making you feel safe about ordering any meals for a holiday! Worst of all was the manager named Michael's attitude and unprofessional manner of explaining to a dissapointed crowd of over 20 people who got NO MEAT that was ordered, confirmed and charged to be his district manager Carlos' fault because he decided to sell all the orders! People had to walk out with ruined dinners !!! It was heartbreaking and they asked me to just grab about $90 of raw meat from the butcher and I asked for a complete refund because I could buy better quality meat and a larger amount for $90 at the local wild fork! I was thankful at the end of the day that I already had a honey baked ham and two huge turkeys to fry and was stopping in for two extra oven roasted turkey breasts(Again confirmed and paid for) it just broke my heart to see others in a different situation with ruined holiday due to poor management. Michael is NOT a team player and did not fix or smoothe over any of the problems at hand ! He is unprofessional and spoke to the crowd and myself in a very disrespectful fashion. He is NOT an asset and I felt so bad for all those tonight that worked under him. I believe it's an easy plan to cater for holidays and that it would be a huge money maker but those in charge lack training, care, judgement and finesse. What more can I say than I love this place. Everything taste great, the service is exceptional and the prices are very reasonable. Todays visit was especially great. While I was in the bakery debating what delicious treat to get my mom for Mother's Day the wonderful gentlemen behind the counter (Aaron) took his time to patiently explain the many choices as well as giving us the detailed differences from each cakes. Managers are an absolute joke. They are rude and have no interest in helping their customers. Specifically the store manager. She is rude and has no respect. The assistant manager is the same exact way. I have had two encounters with them and both times have been the same. The store has absolutely gone down hill over the past few years and it is sad how dirty this place has gotten. I have consistently found that many items, specifically prepared food items are not available. I entertain and when planning a menu, I must several prepared dishes from the fresh market and when I go to order on fresh market website am advised items are not available. First thing in the morning ?! Really ??! If fresh market can not provide these dishes for whatever reason then revise/update your menu. I'm not a big fan of this market just because I feel as if it is so expensive. However I recently discovered their weekly specials and have become an avid shopper in certain days. So fresh market has designated days for meats and produce that go on sale. My favorite day by far is Tuesday. On Tuesday they usually have ground chuck and chicken breast for $2.99 a pound. If you watch the price of meat like I do you will know that at any market average price right now is anywhere from $4-$5. So $3 a pound is great. I have also become a fan of their meals. Every week they have a $20 meal special where you can buy an entire dinner for $20 that you can make at home. It's very worth it and they give you the recipe and all. They even include dessert which can range from fruit to ice cream. Not my favorite super market but it is nice and has a lot of organice/fresh produce. I visit fresh market almost daily. There prices are very reasonable for the quality of products they sell. The best seafood and poultry compared to any other local supermarket. They also sell a variety of pound cakes that are to die for...you will want to taste them all! One thing I can never leave without is buying fresh roses. On a gorgeous Sunday afternoon I decided to go and take a look at this Fresh Market located on the Falls. I found myself on a wonderful supermarket with a huge variety of healthy products that I loved like; The cooked food section: with food already prepared for you, from pastas, salads, sushi etc. The coffee section: with more than five different flavors of coffee bean to pick and they also had three samples for you to try them. The antipasto section: omg olives, peppers, roasted tomatoes. I just adored this part. You can fill out a container and pay by the pound. Yummylicious. The bakery section: the smell was killing me and the banana nut bread looked so moist and it was on discount ;-) The wine section ( which I loved and I even try two Cabs ) and so much more. I have a huge problem with a very specific worker at this store and her name is Milagros. I'm not one to write reviews, but this was, by far, the worst experience I have ever had at an establishment. She spoke very little English (which is not a problem here in miami) but what was upsetting was the fact that she made zero effort to try to understand and communicate with me. She completely disregarded my request and on top of that was extremely dismissive when I expressed my frustration. Ive never been so disrespected at a grocery store in my life, and on top of that she's supposed to be management? The store itself is amazing! Yo, no samples? But, actually. The Fresh Market in the Grove always has samples at checkout, but this one did not. It could have been because we were there later in the evening on Sunday. Okay, but down to business. 1. Standout point: They had Kabocha squash!!!!! This my favorite type of squash and so difficult to find in Miami. And it was very cheap for here at 99 cents a pound. And, they had large ones. All of this = very happy me and an entire cart filled with kabochas! 2. Delicious produce. The prices there can be a bit on the higher side. Sometimes they do have good sales. I bought an absolutely delicious apple there about the size of my head...for some reason their produce is ginormous! 3. The reason you come here: specialty products. I got some favorites and new favorites. Their dry dressing packets are my favorite. I love to mix them with greek yogurt. The pumpkin salsa...yum!!! Great spice offerings. Flax milk - on sale! Unique sauces. Basically, coming to the Fresh Market makes browsing fun. Literally, you could spend hours scouring the aisles for goodies. The Fresh Market brand also makes high quality products. Their pasta sauce is pretty darn good! 4. This location also had a cold self serve salad bar which the other does not! 5. The bins....just duh! One of the best parts of the Fresh Market. Pure amazing, unique items. 6. Bakery. It's just awesome! You just have to taste it! To think that I came to this location before ever setting foot on the location nearest to my house is almost absurd. To think that I still haven't done that is nonsensical. I like the whole set up that The Fresh Market offers. The barn like building showcases a rustic interior, full of wood furnishings, warm tones and cozy displays. It is a sort of throw back, to times when farmers were driving their dusty trucks to the markets and selling their produce in baskets, crates and large jute bags, which is exactly what you will find at this market. There are many things I like here. Besides the fresh produce, I love the bakery. It is certainly the best bakery in a supermarket. I love getting some muffins, low fat or regular. I love their pastries and I love their selection of French breads but, above all, I love their breads. Redundant, no. Emphatic, yes. To find a good bakery is generally frustrating in Miami. If you don't hit a farmer's market where they are selling artisan breads, you are left with the options available at supermarket bakeries or French patisseries, and, ain't nobody got time for that. Also, sometimes they have sales and you can snag a good deal. Another reason to love this supermarket is the coffee selection. They sell lots of gourmet brands, organic and fair trade coffees, and they also sell their own brand coffee, which is not bad at all and is always available to sample. You get your coffee beans, grind them, bag them and there you go, fresh coffee. And, I almost forgot, the selection of in-house coffee is very large, with about 20 different roasts and brew styles. The selection of wines and beers is somewhat limited, although the one that suffers the most is the beer selection, with the absence of any craft beers but an abundance of national and imported beer. To pair, there is a humongous selection of cheeses and cocktail crackers, as well as deli salads and hors d'oeuvres. The meat selection looks impressive as well, although I have not been able to sample their cuts yet. However, there is a butcher in house, and they provide many items that are prepared on site, like sausages, meat loaves, chicken wings, cordon blue chicken, etc. Overall, this location has a great selection and friendly staff, and a great atmosphere that makes grocery shopping fun, rather that tedious and dull. From fresh fruit,vegetables, spices, wine, cheese,and meats. Its a little pricey but you get what you pay for. You can also get prepared meals to bring home if you don't want to cook. You just buy them bring them home and heat it up. Perfect Also they have a salad bar to make yourself your favorite combo. I've been coming here since they opened. It's pricey, but they have the diverse assortment of edible offerings Fresh Market is known for. Given that, I'm basing my review on their customer service experience, which is hit or miss. When they miss, they botch it completely. When they hit, they knock it out of the park. I came in at about 8:30 this morning. There were almost no customers. I politely asked at the cheese counter if they could cut me a piece of cheese from a wheel of $30/pound Sottocenere. I was pretty brusquely told to ask someone else on the other side of the counter, which I cheerfully did. She told me the "cheese person" wasn't there, and that she'd get the assistant manager, who never showed up. We gave up and left. Just FYI, cheese person, that big piece of expensive cheese has blue-green mold growing on it. Might want to cut that piece off. At checkout, Grev was friendly, outgoing, and efficient, a complete reversal of what we'd experienced thus far. Overall, I'm not thrilled, but I'll come back. My advice to management would be to do some training where needed. When it comes to Grev, give him a raise. It's not the first time I've interacted with him, and it's ALWAYS been positive. read more

Fresh market is not your typical supermarket. I'll start by saying that coming here is a treat. This isn't a place for your weekly food shopping experience unless you don't mind splurging. That said, I love coming here. From the moment you walk in the fresh flowers welcome you. The selection of beautiful flowers and smell alone is enough to keep you coming. I especially love the hydrangeas. This location is perfect. The parking is ample and is located right next to The Falls shopping plaza. The store is extremely clean and well organized. The fresh fruit and vegetable selection is really different from Publix. I especially love the wine selection. You can find an excellent choice of wine at an affordable price. I'll tell you what my favorite items are at Fresh Market. The cherries , can't say enough about them. They are the sweetest cherries I've tasted. The fish dip is phenomenal. In fact, for every gathering I host, I serve the dip. The bakery items are above any. The croissants are soft in the middle yet with a crispy flaky crust, just perfection. You want a good cut meat? Not a problem. The Ribeye at $10.99 a steak is amazing. Yes a bit expensive but well worth the bite, I promise. Compared to a burger or pizza, Fresh Market offers a large selection of fresh ready-to-go foods such as salads, sandwiches and wraps, chicken/tuna salads and my favorite - Sushi! This time, I picked up a Smoked Salmon roll with Cream Cheese and Avocado wrapped in brown rice. Paid $6.19 for twelve rolls, they were enjoyable and filling as well as moderately priced. We also got the Maryland crab cakes, which were buy one get one free. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Everyone greeted us with a smile and a good morning! That was nice. You cannot beat the fresh meat, produce and the large variety of wines. I usually stop in to pick up some food and provisions while on my way to our boat. There's one located in the grove, next to Dinner Key Marina. It's very convenient. I am updating my review of Fresh Market as the last year I have seen progress. It looks like they are under new management and the staff there seem to have a bit more motivation. Carolina on the register is really a bright light and is so positive and bubbly and not to mention super super helpful when I need her help. Of late, I have not come across any expired food and I am always checking as in the past there had been issues with out of date stock.
