Since moving to Mount Pleasant I've been a fan of Publix. Living in Park West it was the obvious choice but since moving to the bridge side of Mt P I've experience the other stores more often. Yes, there are three Publix locations in Mt P and a fourth on it's way with the Greenwise market. I often find myself grabbing a few items at Teeter because it's 24hrs and in walking distance but I do most of my "full cart" shopping at this location. I can do the Queensborough location which is a similar distance but I prefer the Ben Sawyer location. I like the layout, the cleanliness, and how it's even less crowded. Per usual, the Publix staff are always over the top helpful and the quality of the products is top notch.

Publix Super Market at North Point on Ben Sawyer Boulevard in Mount Pleasant is a great place to go for all things quality groceries and much more. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you have everything that you need. Good experience every time I have been here.

    Organized well.

My first time at this Publix on Ben Sawyer. What a great supermarket. I was pleasantly surprised by the layout, cleanliness and efficiency of the Publix staff here. Plus, parking is so easy even on a Friday night. Quiet all round. Of course my comparison is to my local Publix, here in Park West. Park West Publix is fine but always so busy and parking is not an easy task especially on a Friday night. Carts are a breeze to maneuver around the store, without sticking or screeching. Plus, local celebrity's shop here, like Darius Rucker . Yeah, I was cheesy and asked the lady at the register if he was who I thought he was.. yup.. Just a regular old Shmo like me running errands on a Friday night . Anyway, back to the store.. if you need groceries and are passing this area, pop In, fast, easy breezy and you never know who you may bump into

I have always been a fan of Publix. I've popped in this store a few times. The store is organized and clean. The shelves are always fully stocked. The staff is friendly. They have a great produce section. Publix is a little pricey compared to other grocery store.

Deli Sandwiches pre-made and ready to go!

With the abundance of grocery stores in Mt Pleasant, I get to pick and choose which one I want to visit on any given day. Normally, if I'm in a hurry, I just head into the HT right next to our apartment. But, if I'm craving a sandwich for lunch, I spend a few extra minutes and head over to Publix. Everyone raves about the fried chicken at Publix, but their pre-made sandwiches in the deli area are not to be missed! The Italian on cuban bread is my all-time-fave. I realize its a good thing they post nutrition facts on their labels, but ... when I'm about to chow down on my sandwich I don't want to be reminded of how excessive the calories are with the Italian. (Its like the turkey wraps are taunting me!) Recently I discovered their cook-in-bag-dinner selections in the seafood department. I went with the Caribbean mango shrimp with couscous and it was fantastic! Very fresh flavors and insanely easy to prepare. Seriously, the most difficult part of preparing this meal is preheating your oven. The prices at Publix are fairly comparable to nearby stores. The store itself is clean, well stocked and staffed by very, very friendly people. I am always greeted with a smile and general how-is-your-day conversation. And, of course, if you have any questions or need assistance, there is always someone there to help. Bringing the service full-circle, they will often help you take your groceries to your car.

While still in the midst of opening what seems like a thousand moving boxes, I decided to stop by , check things out and buy a few things that normally aren't in my kitchen. Childhood favorites mostly. Now I will cut to the chase. Whoever monitors and/or stocks this store's bread aisle needs some serious counseling. I'm normally a fanatic about looking at expiration dates although Publix has never let me down and I was in a bit of a hurry to avoid rush hour. I bought hot dog buns and slider buns. I got home and pan fried those dogs, opened the buns and have never been so disgusted in my life. EVERY SINGLE one was covered in mold.,Yes, a picture is coming. But I was hungry so I thought I'll just cut the dogs in half and use the slider buns. Good gracious, they were hard as rocks. Looked at the use by date and it said April 8, it was April 11. So the dogs were done and I was out of luck. Then I remember the tortillas I brought with me from my Publix in Florida. So I made it work. This will certainly never be my grocery store. Even when I went to check out, there was no one in the open lines. Finally someone showed up. And of course no one offered to help me with my groceries. I usually refuse, but my back had a little issue after lifting all those boxes. I made do. No, I did not go back to the store for a refund.,I just want that bread aisle individual to get some training. I am concerned that if they allow this with the bread, what about the meats and produce?

Customer service is always good and if you ever have a problem, they'll refund or exchange without hassle.

I knew that I didn't have an option. But I talked to Google and I discovered Opie Drive-Thru Grocery. I was able to place an order and my husband went to Mount Pleasant (1 hour and 7 minutes away from Santee) to pick up the groceries. I prepared our Christmas dinner and it was possible because of Opie Drive-Thru Grocery. Placing the food order was a snap and although there were some items that weren't available, I had those staples in my pantry and fridge. My husband said that picking up our items was a great experience as the young man who assisted him was very friendly and professional. All I can say is that Opie Drive-Thru Grocery saved my Christmas dinner. We could have been eating ham sandwiches and potato chips but instead we dined on homemade lasagna and a garden salad.
