When I refused to and wanted to speak to someone else the lady on the phone just laughed it off and hung up. I called back but the same person keeps answering shutting me down. A few months ago their system was down so I had to pay out of pocket and file an insurance claim because even though they had me on file they would not take the time to make the phone call to my insurance for eligibility and wait until their system was back up, they need the money up front. Sure I let that one slide but now this? Totally unreasonable place. I have to either go pay another consult and of course wait through the whole thing again or choose another place where one is treated like a patient and not a commercial transaction.

Also in the past, we had CVS as our main pharmacy for meds on our health insurance plan. And although we got most of our meds up by our other house, we would also shop here for various products. So it's a good CVS. Fairly standard. And it used to have decent service. Now they have self-service as well as checkout registers. And my husband has their loyalty program, so we get sent various coupons periodically. And yes, although our new pharmacy has changed and my nail tech has moved locations further away, I imagine we'd stop by if we need something that our local Walgreens does not have in stock.

This will be seen by a lawyer, they claim I was escorted out by a sheriff in August, I was never talked to by any police and I never received any calls from them according to Sylvio, and they have me singled out because they do not like me. Or they have me confused with someone else. The manager previously asked me to remain a customer, and I have since filled all of my prescriptions exclusively at this location. However, I've experienced several serious issues, including missing quantities on my sealed boxed prescriptions in blister packs, and unexplained changes in pickup locations. Recently, I was told I could not transfer a prescription that I've never had filled anywhere else. When I called for clarification, I was met with hostility from the manager. Now, I've been denied service entirely and told I cannot fill any prescriptions here. I do not have a vehicle and rely on this location because I can walk to it. I've done nothing but pay for and pick up my medications, yet I feel I've been unfairly treated and discriminated against for no valid reason. I intend to contact legal counsel regarding this matter. I do not understand what the issue is, but denying someone their prescribed medication without cause is unprofessional, unethical, and potentially dangerous.

Mask rule not enforced! A threat to everyone's health! I have been shopping at this Publix store for several years. I think the store's number is #1393. This is a huge store with many items and nice and helpful staff. However, over the past few months, I have often seen a disturbing situation in this store: I am referring to the fact that some customers do not wear masks, thus putting customers and staff at risk of contracting COVID-19! It's well known that Publix (as well as every other store) requires staff and customers to wear masks, and this policy is stated on signs as you enter the store. Nevertheless, I have frequently seen a customer walking around in this store while not wearing a mask. No staff person or manager says anything to the customer, and he is able to shop around, walk past other customers, go through the checkout lane, and exit the store without any employee ever saying anything to him. Meanwhile, the rest of us customers (probably 99%) dutifully wear our masks to protect others and ourselves. I do not believe for one minute that any of these mask-less customers have a health problem that prevents them from wearing a mask. They are simply thumbing their nose up at the rules. Recently, I asked a cashier why she didn't say anything to a customer who was not wearing a mask. She said that the manager told her not to say anything to customers without a mask. This is a shocking and disgraceful policy when over 2,200 people have died in Broward County from COVID-19! As of this date, 1 out of every 11 Broward residents has gotten COVID-19, and 1 out of every 860 residents is DEAD from COVID-19! When I shop at Costco, I never see a customer who's not wearing a mask. Costco even has a mask policy for the self-centered nincompoops who claim that they have a medical exemption: they must wear a face shield. You certainly cannot get into any doctor's office or clinic anywhere in South Florida without wearing a mask. These facilities strictly enforce their mask policies. However, you CAN enter this Publix store with no mask, and you will face no repercussions. I have had numerous health problems that leave me at risk. If I get COVID-19, I will probably die from it. I cannot understand why Publix would allow a few narcissistic blockheads to endanger the lives of their staff and customers. This store seems to have a lot of elderly customers (like me), and they risk their lives every time they enter the store. In addition, it appears to me that this store's actions violate Broward County emergency orders concerning mask usage. The County's FAQ about mask rules states the following: Violation of an Emergency Order may be subject to civil and criminal enforcement action. Civil enforcement of a violation may include fines of $1,000 per day per violation, except where the violation is knowing and irreparable/irreversible, in which event civil enforcement may include fines up to $15,000 per violation [Section 8-56, Broward County Code of Ordinances]. Criminal enforcement of a violation as a second-degree misdemeanor may include fines of up to $500 per day, imprisonment up to 60 days, or both [Section 8-55, Broward County Code of Ordinances]....These penalties may be imposed upon an individual as well as an establishment. ======= A few self-centered dimwits should not be allowed to endanger the lives of customers and staff! If you value your health during the pandemic, you may want to avoid shopping at this store. read more

Publix promotes the idea that "Where shopping is a pleasure," but one aspect of the checkout experience consistently detracts from that promise. Each visit, customers are asked to donate to charitable causes, which can feel uncomfortable and repetitive. As someone who shops while carefully budgeting, it's stressful to be put on the spot at the register. Saying "no" multiple times creates an awkward moment with the cashier and leaves you feeling guilty for simply buying groceries. The constant nature of these requests makes the overall shopping experience less enjoyable. Publix is a successful corporation, and it would be more meaningful if they supported charities directly through their own profits rather than relying on customers to fund donations under the company's name. Shoppers come for groceries, not for repeated solicitations, and removing this pressure would make the experience more pleasant. read more

This place has become the local hand out for the drug addict in the area. They eat off the hot bar with their hands. I watched a homeless woman eat an entire meal off the Hot bar then fill a huge soft drink of the fountain. Then she just hung out by the door until the express checkout girl was busy and she just walked out. I went to the service desk and told the young man there about the thief and he said OK. I said well then I want to talk to a manager or secretary and he said none are available. My wife and I use to eat there all the time but the tables outside are now always covered with homeless drug addicted scum bags. I heave even seen used needles in the stairwells to the parking area. I have to pay higher prices so homeless people can use this as a free meal! I still shop here from time to time but would never eat anything off the hot bar. read more

While this is the nicest Publix for miles, the outside seating area theoretically offered for paying customers and employees on break is reserved for the smoking section for the local homeless population. The store smells like a garbage pit and ashtray. Not exactly appetizing or safe. Beware of this place after dark. No one from inside cares what happens outside. read more

However since the last time I came here it looks like they did a little bit of remodeling and shuffle some things around and have some new set up partitions in the produce section and the customer service section and one thing I can say about this Publix is they keep it pretty neat in terms of how they stack the shelves. Right as you walk in as in most traditional Publix locations you will see the deli, the hot foods and the bakery to the right and of course the meat poultry and seafood in the back and the wines chips and frozen foods in the middle. They also have a bunch of gift cards here which I know they sell at most Publix locations but this one is kind of right in your face behind the customer service area so I think they're trying to promote that pretty hard. Either way try out this Publix Location because it's not so busy so good parking, not too much foot traffic and it's easy to go in and out quickly.

I asked for a chair and the man just played with his starburst candy or something anyway, I couldn't stand up long enough so I hung onto a cart until finally someone came to help me, but I couldn't stand up any longer because there was no chair by the front door. I had to leave without solving my problem, so I live alone. I'm home on a rainy day without being able to walk because my crutches are broken. I could not replace them because I couldn't stand up long enough in Walgreens this is just my opinion, but I am crippled and I wish that you had one chair in the front of Walgreens. If you had had that chair for me today I could've gotten new crutches and been safer but now I have to cancel all my appointments because my crutches are broken so I can't go anywhere this week until they come from Amazon on Thursday.
