They always encouraged me to come back, and I did. Quality is OK day-of. Most of it needs to be eaten quickly. For instance their watermelon or mangoes wont be good after a week. That's fine but $5.99/small melon or $1/mango are almost as bad as publix. Not quite but almost. Where's the deals? If its expensive, Where's the high quality? I respect their game and wish them luck but sadly its a closed chapter for me. Its not that im not going to return out of spite, but I wont be returning simply because there's no point to. They serve what you would typically expect to find in a grocery store with an emphasis on Latin items. There is a cafeteria serving prepared foods, bakery, deli, meat, seafood, frozen items, fresh fruit and vegetables, pantry staples, and household essentials. This store has been completely remodeled inside and everything is bright, clean, fresh, and new. Staff is all over the store waiting to assist. They have a lot of sales to coincide with the grand opening. I spotted several products that were unfamiliar to me but I am excited to try. I always head to Presidente when I need Latin items that can't be found in Publix. Last week it was cotija cheese for street tacos and Mexican street corn. This new store is much nicer than the Presidente in Margate. It will be worth the few extra minutes drive to come here.
