I also ordered the sua siu pork, and it was very tender and delicious as well. This oriental grocery store is the most organized and decorated grocery store I've ever been into. They have a whole aisle, dedicated to the Chinese beauty drink, which my mother has stockpiled the ingredients for me and I make a tea of it every week. My mother was with me to help me pick out the pork belly, and she had stated that the prices are pretty decent however, there are some items where the prices are higher than other oriental grocery stores but overall the prices are very decent here. The prices for their deli station is very nicely priced I would say much cheaper than the other places and the quality is much higher than at the other places so it's definitely a win-win situation at this place. They have a very large parking lot and it's very close to downtown Tampa and it's very close a couple blocks away from armature works.

Next, another customer walked in and the rice was now on the line, the servers basically bypassed me and my boyfriend to which we spoke up. They started with my order however bypassed my boyfriend to take the order of the next customer. He informed that he was in front of the guy but they still didn't assist him. We are not Spanish and we got incorrect customer service due to this. Another customer spoke Spanish and joined in an all out Spanish convo with another customer and server about me. When my boyfriend informed he knew they were talking mess they all shut up. Wont visit again I love Spanish food. When we got to the register my boyfriend informed the two people standing there of the bad service and nothing was done to correct it, they just smiled it off.

They have an extensive array of Cuban specialties as well as their famous Italian sausage with peppers. I also saw some Arancini and slabs of BBQ ribs along with a huge selection of Italian salads. Everything looked great! I can see why this place is so popular. Just grab a number and wait your turn. Pay for all your items at the checkout area at the front of the store. It's also a good lunch spot. The dining area is spacious enough to have a relaxing dine-in experience. I just bought a few empanadas. The lady behind the counter was very nice. I asked for 1 chicken and 1 beef. They were both very tasty. The filling in the chicken empanada was a little on the salty side, but I think that's because it was mixed with chorizo. It was very tasty nonetheless. It was a quick lunch that really hit the spot. They didn't have the Alessi avocado toast seasoning on the shelf today. I ended up buying a couple of other things to try. I saw an oil drizzle that reminded me of my mother's garlic vinaigrette. I can't wait to try it. It's worth a stop when in West Tampa. I wanted Calabrian chiles, but they were apparently behind the plastic construction area. At the deli, I asked for a half pound prosciutto. They cut over 1lb due to lack of English. OK. I took it anyway so it was not wasted (the domestic was no bueno). It was old and dried out. There was no one at the meat counter, so I had to ask the deli guy to help me. The chicken breasts that were on sale were gatgantuan. I have never seen chicken breasts so large. The wings smelled bad when I got home to package to freeze. I had to toss 10 lbs. The reason I went was for the chicken sale. I am not risking food poisoning. The prices on most grocery items were actually higher than Publix. For specialty Italian items, the selection was just good. I did find guanciale and pancetta. Honestly, I would rather go to Mazzaro's or Moschella's. Their service is much better, and they have much more specialty items, plus they are cleaner and don't sell old nasty food.
