I've been to nearly 60 Publix Super Markets across Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina and Tennessee. This one is just like every other, even if the layout is slightly different. It still has all the usual departments and the scale that are traditional for Publix. We were able to pick up a few snacks for our Airbnb stay and pay for them easily. Lifelong publix shopper here! It's always clean, never have I seen brown meats or mold like I have other places throughout the years. It's convenient and within walking distance. We love the bogo deals, fried chicken and pubsubs. Staff is helpful if you have any questions. I know friends that move away from Florida miss Publix. read more

Catfish Meal. SUBPAR. Purchased some Catfish from the DELI which tasted very BAD having no flavor whatsoever. The same can be said of the Shrimp & Potato Wedges accompanying the Meal which lacked seasoning. All 3 DELI Items were BLAND in taste. AVOID. read more

This publix is convenient to get to, just west of 95 on Gateway, on the east end of the plaza that has the ups that I like the best, and Bramer's on the other end. I was somewhat hesitant to walk in here, as the frontage seems smaller than the Lantana Publix I usually go to, and I thought it might be one of the smaller Publixes in town, but to my surprise it is rather large inside and appears to be a fully stocked Publix. The parking lot is not my favorite kind, but it hasn't ever been crowded when I've been here. There was no one else at the deli counter which was a plus. For some reason my son will only eat Bertolli alfredo sauce, and this is a BOGO pretty often. read more

Avoid this Publix. They don't pay attention to online orders. The deli is ALWAYS understaffed. It's not a new thing it's been that way for ten years. You would think the Deli manager would have that figured out by now. There is a fundamental problem with Publix deli's that exists in all of them EXCEPT in the ones with good managers. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location and I give it five stars. read more

I LOVE this Publix store. I always get great customer service. When I ask where something is the associate always takes me directly to the item. A few days ago, I needed four beef pinwheels, and they only had a package with two pinwheels in the specialty meat area. The young man in the meat department made me another pack with two pinwheels. So, my dinner plans were a success. I always find all the associates, friendly and helpful. And they always ask me if I need help going out to the car with my groceries. read more

This is a smaller Publix but serves the purpose! It's conveniently located next to 95 with east entrances into the parking lot. This Publix is like most others I've been to. I haven't tried ordering a sub yet (a true testament to how a Publix's functions are). Their checkout system is pretty efficient and their workers are mostly quick to check you out. Only reason I took off one star is because the parking lot is annoying with one way lanes. read more

I hate going to this Publix, it's so convenient for me but every thing about it sucks. The staff couldn't care less. No customer service they barely look at you and just socialize with the other rude staff. The deli is by far the worst. Anytime I put in an order it's always incorrect, extremely poorly done and NEVER on time. You have to wait in the sub line to ask for your online pick up order so there's really no point. Love the store, most employees very pleasant BUT my ONLY complaint: few times a week I purchase a sandwich at the deli, u don't want to complain since their handling my food but few employees there are so busy speaking and laughing with each other while I'm standing there no less. They have sandwich half made they put it down to go whisper to someone slicing meat who laughs and yells 2 someone else then 2 or 3 minutes later they come back and finish my sandwich. The most unfriendly Publix i've shopped at. The employees seemed absolutely annoyed to be working there. Publix is known for their friendly staff and this Publix doesn't give that. I smiled at one of the managers and said "excuse me" as he was having a conversation, leaning against the kiosk us instacart shoppers use for curbside orders. i was given a dirty look and he walked away with out a "no problem" "I'm sorry" or if the conversation was important enough a "if you don't mind waiting just a minute" i definitely won't be taking orders here anymore and feel bad for the locals who live around this publix and shop here regularly. read more

My preferred Publix! Yes, I am fully aware that Publix is a chain supermarket and therefore certain variables are constant: price, food options but service... that is unique! My neighborhood Publix does not offer the kind of service that reinforces "Where Shopping Is a Pleasure". The bakery department is always well stocked. The deli department has the best meat and cheese options and they will cut with a smile. I literally go out of my way to go to this Publix. read more

I like this publix because it's close to my house, they're friendly, have everything i need. My only complaint is that the food is frequently expired or very close to expiring. I feel with the prices they charge they should do a better job at stocking the shelves, but just my opinion. read more

Yay for a new Publix in Boynton Beach! This Publix is one of the company's older stores and boy does it show. I love Publix, but I think someone forgot to tell the staff here that their tagline is "Where shopping is a pleasure". Don't get me wrong, it's not like employees have been rude, but this is the one and only Publix where it seems as those employees aren't smiling and are proactive with customers, always asking if there is something they can help with. Structurally this is also a much older store with slimming aisles. It's not a bad store (and lord knows anything is better than that Wally man's store) but I'm happy to have a bigger and newer Publix back in town. read more

I misplaced my phone while shopping and a gentleman named Kerby helped me find it , he was very nice and went out his way to help me relocate my phone . He even let me use his phone to call mine . Kinda sad to call this my neighborhood publix. Most of the employees are rude. But nearly not as rude as most of the people who come to this publix. Tonight I ran inside for last minute item, 10 minutes before closing. I got held up by the lady infront of me & the cashier laughing away at some mutual friendship they had. When it was my turn to cash out, the cashier did not speak one word to me. Not even my total. Being the respectable human that I am, I still said thank you & have a nice evening.... Nothing On the other hand, there are a few employees who have been excellent, and I thank them for that. For them is why i give this publix 2 stars. 2pm in afternoon with a store teeming with people and only three registers open.....one of which was operated by someone named Felicia who can't tell the difference between apples and pears and who spent no less than 30 seconds inspecting every item she rang up. I had a total of five items and was trapped in line for over ten minutes waiting my turn. If there wasn't a line of people behind me I would've just left my items/left store. This was my old neighborhood Publix and I do miss it. Parking can be a challenge during busy times. They are well stocked and pretty clean. Like most South Florida grocery chains the Western Union customers seem to clog the customer service counter a lot. This is the last time that I come to this Publix. They re-sticker their chicken when it is close to expiring. They sell fruit with faces in it, it's honesty disgusting. Then tonight, I stand on line for 25 minutes for chicken tenders while the employees are over worked catching up on subs and lunch meat. While I am still waiting, another employee from a different department goes behind the counter and takes for himself, taking 4 servings full of the sides; leaving nothing for the rest of us (5-6 people) patiently waiting to be served. He then says sorry I don't work in this one, I was never here. I end up getting the left overs. They suck. I'll just shop at target from now on. read more

This is a lousy Publix. All departments are lacking. You have employees on personal calls while working, cashiers discussing politics, stockers saying they don't know where anything is and assistant managers referring to people as chief and boss instead of sir or ma'am. We shopped shopping at publix because of this location. I'm giving it two stars due to ther friendly CASHIERS. But if they didn't have friendly cashiers it would be no stars. The meat section is absolutely disgusting. The quality of chicken they put out is absolutely disgusting. When we had 2 bad experiences with it I finally asked to speak to the manager because at this point I was afraid of people's health risks. Their manager is beyond rude, she thought it was funny, and was no help at all. She did not want to understand what I had to say and frankly didn't seem to care. She caused a scene and it was unnecessary. Making shoppers feel stupid and like they don't what their talking about is beyond professional. Probably the nicest Publix in Boynton Beach. It's clean and well-stocked, with a plethora of Greenwise products to choose from. They have an awesome bakery with artisan breads and Latin specialties like empanadas and croquetas, an expanded deli and a huge produce section. It's not the closest one to my house, but I'm willing to go that extra mile or two because this store is so nice, and has so much to offer. read more

This is my second time here that's why I feel the need to do this.... the 1st Time the employee was not big on customer service I didn't like me experience at all, but I didn't think I would've came back but accidentally I did and now I see where the employee gets her none customer service from! I usually go to Publix just for the deli and most of the time my experience always go good but today coming in here I will never come back to this Publix due to the assistant deli manager. (DENIRO INGRAHAM) is his name!!! He has poor customer service, even worse then the employees...he was doing something when I walked up, didn't change the gloves, asked me did I want something or am I just looking, I was the only one in line and when I asked for my tomatos to be diced instead of doing it for me like they usually do, he left my food to go get some old tomatoes that were already diced,all with the same gloves he fixed my sandwich with.
