The Bradenton store was a real let down. Not what I was expecting at all. Grocery selection was extremely expensive. The deli was small and nothing looked fresh. Vegetables were not much better. I would suggest driving a little further to the nearest Detwilers for fresher meats and veggies. read more

If you like being treated as though you're nothing during check out, this is the place for you. I've shopped here several times, only because it's the closest "health food store" and saves me an extra 30 minutes. They had growing pains at the start but for a while, really seemed to step it up. Not so much now. The produce selection is all right but expensive, especially if you're looking for organic. Store is clean and well lit. What continues to bother me is the spotty service. If you get someone on the right day at the right moment, they're helpful and friendly. If not, rude, moody, dismissive. This is not a one time occurrence, either. It's unlike anything I've experienced at a Sprouts anywhere else in the country, and I've shopped in their stores in California, Washington, Tennessee with regularity. I can only put this down to sloppy management. As a for instance, on checkout I had only one bag with me, and asked that my cold foods be placed in it because I had an hour's drive home and would put them in a cooler. There were enough groceries for four bags, including mine, but without bothering to make eye contact the checker asked if I wanted him to stuff it all in the one tiny Publix bag. I said no, so he put the cold things in there, then loaded two more bags, one with all my canned and bottled goods. I'm clearly not young, but when I said "I won't be able to lift that!" he said the apples would have made it heavier, so he'd bagged them with other things. No asking me if I wanted help loading the car. No offering another bag. No smile. One short eye contact after a direct question. The rotisserie chicken is among the saltiest I've ever had, which for a health conscious store is not great. Someone either isn't over-seeing the brining or leaving the chickens in the brine too long, because it's basically inedible. I'd take it back but for the lengthy drive; the gas would probably eat up my savings. I keep trying this Sprouts in the hope that they've become consistent, but they're not. In short, if you have a health-conscious store alternative - even a TJ's would be better - shop there. read more

as I have shopped here over the past year+ I find it's become my go to for shopping. I rarely go to WF anymore, shop a few things at Trader Joes's and Aldi's but this is my fave for pricing, organics, and just great fun hunting for amazing deals on manager's specials. The place has a homey vibe, spotlessly clean, and THE best people working there. Shoutout to Peter, Gail, Millie, Nick and the amazing manager. all who greet you with a smile and actually remember your name! Try it. Yes, Virginia, sometimes you DO get what you pay for. You want the same processed, plastic, mass produced garbage and non-rotated produce rotting in front of you? You want milk from Central Valley feedlot herds with just enough room to step in the by-products of the cow next to them? Or do you want to cut a few streaming services and vices and shop where the inventory is much higher quality, fresher and heck, better for you? Then go to Sprouts. Incredibly clean, well stocked with quality products and very helpful, genuinely friendly staff. Yes, there are real sales. And there are many staples that are cheaper than the Green Place that used to be, er, pleasant to shop in. It's your choice. The same-old, same-old with the teaser sales and fake BOGO items. Or investing in foodstuffs that are better for you and your family? It's also a much more relaxed place to be. But hey, it's your choice. I'd say avoid Brussels sprouts though. They smell like the Palmetto High School boys locker room in November 1976 after that basketball game when Moe scored 48 points. read more

My first visit to Sprouts but hubby has gone a number of times. They are extremely nice in there. The fish monger was very helpful and the fish was fresh. Like the way they organize their organic products. Checkout was easy and I like the smaller carts. Helps immensely with arthritic hands. Will shop there again. read more

The location is wonderful, and I appreciate the effort the team puts in. However, it seems that some employees may not be familiar where the products are located. It would be great to see a stronger emphasis on customer service and a friendlier approach when interacting with customers. They didn't have or didn't know where the coconut water or organic coffee was. A little extra warmth and guidance could really enhance the shopping experience. read more

I was looking forward to the opening of the store as I liked one up in Pinellas but there needs to be improvement. Some of the food on the shelves was expired and some of what I got home -- including organic raisins -- should have been labeled expired considering the condition. And the organic tomatoes purchased tasted like fish. I can't figure out why but yuck. So, for now, you are probably better off shopping the regular grocery or continuing down Tamiami to Whole Foods. read more

My first visit was a walkthrough. I only bought brussel sprouts that looked beautiful. When I cut them in half to roast, they were perfect. Each and every sprout perfect. Not one had that brown mold inside so no waste as I get at the less expensive stores. They tasted delicious and fresh. I returned on Sunday morning to look around and buy mushrooms. They were all perfect and clean. I bought many items not found at other groceries in town. Everything I bought was delicious. Bilinski's organic mushroom and chicken sausage was excellent. My husband ate them, told me I could buy again. He's an Oscar Mayer guy. Black garlic chicken wings to airfry in the butcher were fresh and unique and again delicious. A rebuy. The white meat chicken shredded was also a rebuy. I also bought the white and purple eared fresh corn on cob. Amazing! My bill was not any bigger than competitor! I am excited to try the sirloin steak tip meal. This was $15.00 and food enough for 2 plus people. I also found the staff very helpful and excited to give their advice on recipes as well as foods they liked to eat from this store. I am elated to have a store where I can try many different foods instead of the same old, same old. I rate this store an A+. I hope Sprouts stays as clean, friendly, and unique as the first big shop I did for years to ahead. Thank you Sprouts. read more
