This is hands down the worst pharmacy experience I've ever had. I went to pick up my medications and was told I had to wait until Wednesday because they "weren't an emergency." I went on a Monday. With all due respect, it is NOT Publix's job to go over my doctor's head and decide how important my medications are. That decision is made by my physician, not by a pharmacy employee. This was extremely unprofessional, dismissive, and frustrating. If a doctor prescribes something, it's because it's needed -- not for Publix to rank priorities. Super disappointed in Publix. I was told 25 to 30 minutes I would have to wait. My wife wanted fired shrimp and no shrimp in the cold case. They need more deli people , it's just to slow because of not enough people to wait on you. Called in yesterday regarding getting balloons blown up and was told small balloons 1.50 and bigger balloons 2.50. Tell me how I wake up early to arrive at opening time to get my balloons filled with helium but now the manager or team leader (blonde lady) of produce wants to charge me 3 dollars per balloon. I explained that I called in yesterday and was told different pricing and she did not help me in any way. Shame on you publix for not being firm with prices. First of all I'd like to say this Publix is awesome and very convenient to me as a member of the community, the problem and situation I had was the way a certain manager was delegating and overwhelming their employee. See I believe that just because of titles, It does not mean is ok to represent your beauty and on how your check can provide for your attitude and nails. Daimy the manager in the bakery department not just once but twice displayed me attitude and actions of a spoiled little girl that cant do but ask for things. I was able to notice more beyond her attitude and her character of being a manager is one who oppresses & overwhelms her team cause again a spoiled brat can't get it done. I went back today fixed the issue & addressed by you specifically. & just because you verbally do not speak the energy does not mean you're body language does not release it. Please focus on how you approach your team and customers. Mistakes like todays visit could've been avoided if you don't over work your team my advice to you. There were no Publix in Georgia at least in my area. They have been my grocery store ever since which was more than 30 years ago. Buy two get one free! $19.98 for three. Big Deal!! My shopping bag was half full today, and it cost me $62.00. Even the checkout person was shocked! I know times are bad right now, but this company has not stepped up. Walmart is much less expensive. read more

Totally overrated. The shelves are often empty, I can't always buy what I want, and the decision to eliminate the meat counter was probably the dumbest move in the history of retail- you can't sell it if you don't have it. And when I do buy their pre-packaged steaks, they aren't very good, and are overpriced. Can't wait until some other grocers come into town. read more

Unbelievable. You can call the pharmacy - they will say next day, so then you call again, and they say between 2-3pm, then you arrive, wait in line for 20 minutes and are told it'll take another 30 minutes. Like we all have time to just wait around for empty promises. read more

I have been shopping there for years. Today was a terrible experience. I got an email for Italian grocery sales. They had buy one get one on Pompeian Olive oil. They did not state the price. I went in to buy 2 and get 2 free. They were $22.99 each for 32 oz bottles. I thought mabe olive oil has gone up like eggs, so I bought them. I was in Walmart right before and did not think to check the price. When I got home, I decided to check the price at Walmart online. Thier price was $10.99 regular price. Publix service, quality and cleanliness is supperior to walmart but charge more than double the price for the same product is rediculous. I work too many hours to price check everything and the buy one get one got me today. Publix needs to be more honest in their advertising. This makes me buy less and less every time I go in there. Customer Service has a lot to say. Not only today but other times I have had derogatory rude treatment form some african american workers. Today the person who was attending me, (Siera o Ciera) was adamant to answer my question, she ignored me, I asked twice. Then at the time to get my groceries, she did not made the bag available closer to me, I requested it twice, so she denied it, with a hostile attitude, and gave me a litttle heads up that she wasn't going to fall to my looking for trouble or somethng like that. Obviously she treated me with hostility, rudeness and as an employee she denied the right to serve me. What is going on with Publix, many years ago they use to have a good customer service, employees use to greet the customer, and now they are rude and hostile, They shall go up north and Midwest to see what type of excellent service the stores deliver and how willig they are to tend to customers needs. I have been shopping at Publix for about 30 years now. Not the same store. I have been shopping at the Publix store on US1 and Prima Vista in Port St Lucie (store#855) for about 7years now. Everyone has been really nice and helpful, especially Everyone in the pharmacy. Today, August 13th I was shopping there and was in the produce section for about 10 minutes getting what I needed there and thought I should use the restroom since it is right by there. Was gone no more than 2 minutes, because all I had to do was pee and wash my hands, and come back to find my cart gone. No workers to be found. Then a manager walks by and I tell her my cart was missing. She told me my cart was there for 15 minutes and she took it up front so someone could put everything in the cart away. She said if I wanted to I could go up front and see if the put it up yet, and then walked away. No apologies or anything like that, one of the rudest employees at Publix I have ever encountered at any Publix I have been to. So I go up to the front and I see what I think is my cart but it has more items in it and some Publix employee is pushing it. I said I think that is my cart. A couple of Publix employees where there and said the manager told them it was sitting in the produce section for over 15 minutes. I told them I left it to use the restroom and was my hands, maybe left is for 2 minutes. So they started take stuff out of the cart that they put in it that was not mine and apologized. That manager that told me I could go get my cart if I wanted to never apologized or she could have said let me help you get your cart back. Instead she was rude to me and walked away. Not sure if I want to return to that Publix ever again. I will because the pharmacy is very nice and friendly and help me and my family out alot. But to grocery shop there probably not. You might have lost a long time customer because of a manager that was rude. read more

I was a Publix Customer for over 10 years, and i am highly DISSAPOINTED after I used their ATM and it never dispensed me the money and it was taken off my bank account. I asked the managers and they place the claim, after awhile NONE ANSWERS. Then, the bank requested the refund from Publix ATM and it was declined by Publix. Then, I reached out to Corporate accounting dpt. and they figured out the money was never dispensed to me because NO TRANSACION FEE was charged and even though they kept my money and DECLINED the claim and never reimbursed my money. read more

This is the closest Publix to my house and I go whenever I need to make run or get grocery items. The staff is medium friendly and it seems forced on most of them. The manger seems a little socially awkward, not trying to be mean, but does not appear to be approachable. But whenever I'm stuck I approach him anyway and get what I need. I just love shopping at Publix, I've truly never had a bad experience at any location. I've been coming to this specific location since it's opened so it's like walking back into your old high school and slapping high fives everywhere. Everyone is always happy, smiling, saying hi and always willing to help you even if you didn't ask, truly top notch customer service. Trust me, I'm all about customer service to, so I enjoy coming here daily for everything not just food but toiletries and even my doggie treats for my three doggies. They always have great sales and even if they run out of things they always go out of there way and check the back. Once I forgot to put an order in for chicken wings for 8am (we were going to the beach) they put it in the oven and I only had to wait 20 minutes, I mean who does that anymore, I'll tell you who, Publix. From the way the store is always lighted, clean, nice sized aisles, wonderful employees and management this is my first stop food shop. You can never go wrong shopping here and it even sometimes soothes me to just roam the aisles, lol. Make Publix your favorite food store shopping experience. read more

Cons: Parking is a pain. Prime spot for accidents. Traffic flow is difficult within parking lot and exiting to street. Prices are higher than Win-Dixie or Walmart. Pros: Deli is delicous with decent wait lines. Cashiers surged during peak times; waiting is tolerable. Customer service center is very well organized and friendly. Wine selection is an entire side aisle. Meat department staff are knowledgeable. Baggers offer to assist taking items to car when (I have disabilities) Visited over thirty times. Great experience! Rosa King was such a delightful pharmacist and person to be around and made getting my free flu vaccination so comfortable and fun. She was such a pleasure and genuinely shows so much empathy and compassion towards the public. Such a people person and so friendly! People walking by seemed so excited to see her and say hello, and she somehow made me look forward to getting my flu shot again next year. She's super fast and efficient and made me consider becoming a pharmacist since she's so cool! Would give more than 5 stars if I could! Although I don't live near this Publix, I will definitely be driving the extra few miles to make sure I get the best quality care from Rosa! Tonight I decided to come in for 4 items. Reached to the front and there was a long line. Usually Publix is on top of this but they missed the mark tonight. What I don't understand is why would it take me to speak loudly for someone to pay attention. People are so conditioned to just sit there and accept bad service. A Publix employee that was in line wanted me to go ahead of her which was a nice gesture but I wasn't going to cut ahead people that was also waiting in line. It's a pandemic Publix, care about the employees and patrons to have more than 3 registers open. read more
