The Springfield, TN Kroger was nice & clean. We enjoyed the Starbucks inside next to the Floral department as well. The fragrance broom we purchased was a HUGE waste of money. If I could give negative stars I would. I had so much hope for this store after the remodel and yet not even a year later and it's AWFUL! The new healthy options that were there a year ago are all gone and no longer being carried. (Gluten free Ian's waffles, skyr yogurt, local honey tonnage a few). The produce doesn't last more than two days post purchase and most the yogurts on the shelf are past expiration. ALWYAS check expiration dates - many things on the shelf are expired or close to it Plus, Kroger "digital deals" rarely work and if you point it out at check out; it is met with rolling eyes and a heavy sigh from a Kroger employee. I have only caught a few items - but they makes me question the entire process. The baggers are the WORST. What is the point of having one item per bag? Really? And if you bring your own, to save the ocean and earth, be prepared for your bread in the bottom and crushed by your cans. Avocados were unrecognizable after being in the bottom of the bag. It's worth paying more somewhere else for the sake of being able to actually eat the food you bought. I brought my aunt shopping there a few weeks ago, she got tired walking the entire store - can't use the app mid store to find anything with no cell service . As I parked her at the end of an aisle she was greeted by a mouse!!!! When I said something to an employee - they were very nonchalant. . I left a full cart mid aisle and shopped elsewhere. I am a patient person and do not expect perfection from a grocery BUT when I called to see what a manager would even say to my concerns, I was on hold for over twenty minutes - no manager. Why is Trader Joe's able to hire friendly staff, staff their stores with helpful employees and offer lower prices? I'll drive 45 minutes to get decent food at a fair price - bye bye Kroger. Over the past 2 years they have had a serious problem with sub-par produce. I regularly find moldy produce on the shelves. Using their online ordering we have received spoiled produce more than once. I know we are in the times of covid right now but the shelves seem less and less stocked every time we go. They need to go back to training the Strive for 5 method of bagging. If we do not ask for paper they give us a ridiculous amount of plastic bags... PLASTIC BAGS ARE NOT RECYCLABLE. They also need to be trained on bagging using paper bags. No matter what the bag they are notorious for bagging things that should not be bagged together in the same bag. read more

I have always gotten my produce from Kroger's and never had any problem. I got some this month and the potatoes and onions were already started to rot and the carrots were already sprouting at the top. They also have stopped honoring the 10% senior discount on the first Wednesday of the month since we moved back this May. They still offer it in Arizona. Guess we are having to pay for them enlarging and remodeling the store. I'll be buying my groceries elsewhere. read more

OMG found this in the banana pudding from Lebanon TN Kroger deli. My family members who ate the pudding before seeing it are sick to their stomachs at the thought of what they just ate, Obviously a used sweaty glove that slipped off of someone's hand by the way the fingers are all pushed in. No way, you didn't notice your glove slipped off. Did you think it was funny? If you ate a batch of this, I would call Kroger right away, the batch will have this date on it. Just know people this was no accident I am sure and god knows what else this person who works in Kroger deli in Lebanon is doing to the food you are buying from there. read more

I have been a customer here for 27 years but they have lost me with this store remodeling. They decided to do everything at one time. Gas station remodel, store expansion and parking lot renovations. There hasn't been adequate parking for what seems like a year! They took up the best parking places 3 years ago to facilitate the online orders. They should have put it on one side of the parking lot, not right in the middle. The teen age online order pickers clog the aisles and aren't trained to move their pick cart to one side of the aisle or the other. The senior employees are great but seem frustrated and this store is always short handed. read more

when i place orders at deli they never cut my lunch meat correctly. i just spent over $50.00 and they cut it way to thick. due to medical conditions it has to be shaved or chipped. i can not chew this meat. i called instacart they basically said to bad. i tried to call kroger no dept will answer phone . i have a large order of 4 party platers for my grandson graduation and i can't ever check on that. deli, customer service, nor store supervisor will not answer phone. i just spent a small fortune on these orders and can do nothing about it. publics may be a little more expensive but at least they have every right. read more

I used to shop there all the time but after several calls to fix small problems the manager was so rude I almost couldn't believe it. Also, they now charge a fee to get money back so obviously, they don't value my business enough to even give me that courtesy. And the front of the store parking lot is filled with click it spaces rather than have them farther out. The click it people don't need to do anything but sit in the car so I don't see a reason for that. Also I got sick of my groceries being thrown around and smashed I don't think they give baggers any training, they will put heavy stuff with bread and even put cleaners in bags with food. Oh my heavens, after leaving California on April 30, we hadn't found a grocery store worth shopping in since then. I walked into Kroger's yesterday and thought I had died and gone to heaven. Not only did they have lettuce that wasn't in plastic bags but they had fruit that you can choose from; they had loose carrots, etc. Plus, their produce was fresh and not picked over by the produce personnel. I didn't think a good grocery store existed outside of California until we got here to Tennessee. Will definitely check them out again plus there other sister markets of Frys, King Soopers, City Market, and Dillons. read more

Friendly people, groceries on sale, fresh produce, and gas discounts. What more could you want? The only gripe about this place is that the parking lot is a little busy, but that's not really their fault. The employees at Kroger on West Main are always friendly to my family and me when we shop there, they always have what we need (versus being sold out, etc.), and I always am a little happy knowing that my purchases will count for a discount towards a future gasoline purchase. We recently moved to Hendersonville,Tn from Lebanon,Tn and boy I miss this Kroger! They have a bigger and newer Kroger marketplace in Hendersonville in fact 2 of them in the same town but I miss the great customer service in this store! Even store manager will step up and open up registers if they see that there are a lot of people checking out. Employees just don't watch and let people fall in line for a long time to check out. I love this store. And now I know why the employees work and stay here for years. I see the same faces all the time. Except of course during the summer and holiday season where they'd hire a couple of seasonal workers. The grocery is very much well stocked for the most part except for busy holidays where they would run out of certain items. Produce, meat, fish, dairy are always fresh. Prices are low. They even have one of their employee do the cookout during summer holidays and the ribs are fall off the bone and just very tasty! This is a small store though and they don't carry a lot of clothing and home goods unlike the one here in Hendersonville. And did I mention how awesome their employees are in this store and how amazing customer service they have? From the people stocking up the aisles, meat, fresh produce, register, manager and even pharmacists? I miss this store! Can you just move this one to Hendersonville,Tn please?? read more
