When you think of Walmart, you usually come up with more negatives than positives. Rarely, do you find a Walmart that is memorably pleasant. Lebanon's location is, well, exactly what you expect of Walmart. It's grungy, low on stock for certain items, and disorganized. I feel like I need a shower after visiting. However, I keep coming back because the prices are unbeatable these days. Why spend $8 on a jar of sauerkraut at the store when I can spend $3 for the same exact brand and size? Sure, that example is crazy, but it's true. I can stock up on groceries for the next several weeks and pay less than $100. I'm unsure if this Walmart has any employees because you will rarely see any until it's time to checkout and maybe you'll find two managing their lanes while the CEO expects you to checkout your own haul. Good luck finding a price scanner. It seems as if they took those out along with price tags. This Walmart is a mess. I don't like it, but I unfortunately keep coming back. read more

I tried to contact Walmart when my shopper/delivery people accidentally left me with someone else's order as well as my own. There's no way to do it in the app, you call and the phone rings forever, and then you get a machine that tells you sorry we're busy and hangs up on you I'm sure the person that ordered the food that I ended up with would appreciate getting her food! Why is it so impossible to get someone to come back and pick up the order that belongs to another person probably on my street, but I have no way of knowing that because the address isn't on the bag, and I can't speak to a human. read more

This was a quick stop for some travel supplies and to use their restrooms. The store was in good condition. Not as good as the ones I saw this week in Bentonville, but still decent compared to many. Cart corrals were empty, there was no trash in the parking lot and there was a greeter who actually greeted us as we came in this morning. Men's room was good. Mrs. K. said the ladies room was also good. We had no problem in the snacks aisle, picking up some fresh bottled water and some chips for the remainder of the drive. Always an awful location to visit. Normally, it's just a terrible attitude from the associates (whatever; it's work), but the last two times I've gone in, it's been extremely busy and I'd gathered an ENTIRE CART of items. Both times, I've had my FULL CART in the aisle and wandered into the next (because why would I pull a cart with a 50lbs bag of dogfood and 10lbs box of kitty litter when I don't have to?), only to come back into the aisle with my cart "disappeared" and a worker in the same aisle with zero idea where my cart now is, despite me leaving it not three minutes before. read more

Stopped in while in the area to return some thing I bought and didn't use. Customer service was backed up pretty long and it took about 15 minutes for someone to help me with only one person in front of me. Transaction went smoothly and associate was very friendly. Isles seemed to be zoned, well stocked and clean. It was very busy but to be expected for the holidays. Checkout was equally as busy; but again, to be expected because of the holidays. Eyewitness pure laziness tonight so we come in and was gonna spend $80 on a tire for a trailer plus a $20 mounting fee but because the tire was still on the trailer, they would not change it. I really wanted the new iphone16 but everywhere I went something would make it impossible mostly bc of my credit so I walked into this Walmart (never been here before) and was looking at the cell phone and within an hour I was walking out of there with the new beautiful blue iPhone 16 thanks guys yall really made it happen and there was no all of a sudden crazy charges added at the end of the deal it was what you said it would be and I appreciate it! I don't physically go but I do get grocery delivery from this Walmart & never had an issue. The app is great. It allows you to pick the time for delivery & if there is an issue with an item, the app gives to the choice of substitute it cancel. I also find the prices very good. read more

This Walmart has been remodeled several times but it's not working. The strip mall here is shabby and it's just old and needs to be rebuilt in a different area. Lot of drifters and Vagabonds hanging around and you need to pay attention who's around you before you get out of your car. Poor management all around. This Lebanon store is the stepchild of all Walmarts. You can see fights; stealing; and all types of bad behavior. Complaints fall on deaf ears! Overworked few cashiers and workers that seem to be expected to know and do everything, everywhere, all at once. No happy faces here. Dirty store with mis-priced items on shelves and very dark parking lot. Poor security inside and outside the store. Always out of stock in many items or no longer carry many items. Why is it the Lebanon (Lebnun) Walmart criminalizes choppers by checking receipts at the door when they have camera everywhere. The Mt. Juliet (Julet) doesn't scrutinize shoppers in this way? Walmart pick up has to be the worst experience. Our pick up time for our grocery order was 4-5pm on Sunday. We arrived shortly after 4 to find that the associate who answered could not even find our name on the pick up list. No apology, just "try back later". When we asked how much later, the response was "about an hour and a half". Great service for a one hour pickup window. When we arrived at 5:15 to attempt the pick up again, we were told it would be right out. We knew that was not the case because all ten spaces were full and three car were waiting. GO TO KROGER. Traveled all out from Nashville because they have a bed mattress in stock. They only have one. Get to the story and they don't have it on the shelf. I went to customer service to ask if they could grab it from inventory or back stock. They said they have it but they could not go back to get it. They weren't even willing to talk about it. Just nope, we don't have staff to go get it. Told me it may be out on the shelf in a couple of days. Pretty awesome, travel 45 minutes to be told we won't go grab it for ya. Pro: This walmart isn't ghetto and is actually somewhat clean. Con: The staff is RUDE. I shouldn't be as shocked as I am, but truly I'm baffled. The first time I went today my cashier didn't say a word until I asked how she was doing. For a second I thought she may have thought she was servicing a ghost. Her little smirk after I said I was doing well just annoyed me. Don't ask if you can't fake it any better than that. I actually had to make a return not too long after my first visit and BOY OH BOY if you encounter an older woman with greying hair RUN AWAY!!! She's so incredibly rude. We were literally swapping a shirt and she very rudely said "I need you to get a shirt with a tag so I can ring it up." WOW, like it's my fault there's not a tag on it. We went to this Walmart on Thanksgiving night for Black Friday (Thursday?) specials that were being offered. For the craziest night of the year in shopping, this location handled it very smoothly and had a police presence walking around the entire time - just in case. I went to Walmart to return some things this afternoon. While waiting my turn, no one was actually ahead of me. 4 employees were behind the counter chit-chating and 1 was in front of me for no reason other than chit-chating. A man standing off to the side, with a 75 inch TV, asked if someone could help him. The guy behind the counter said the girl who runs the register would have to check him out. He told the guy he had already paid and had been waiting 30 minutes for the girl to return with a cart. Man behind counter huffs and gets on his walkie talkie asking if anyone has a cart, then replies "I guess no one has their walkie talkie on. I say there is a cart about 5 feet away with 3 small boxes on it. No one says anything. Finally the man says "can I talk to the manager." The lazy guy behind the counter says he is the manager. Man buying tv says he will just push the box outside. No one says a word. FOUR STRONG, GROWN MEN were standing there on the clock!! He yelled for a girl to come help, I got my money back and was leaving when I saw the man and his wife trying to get the tv in their suv. A very nice young man named Jordan had stopped to help them. He was a customer. The tv was too big and the lady was near tears. I asked where they lived, and luckily it was my side of town. We loaded the tv in my van and I delivered it to their home. They, like me, will not be back to Lebanon Walmart. read more

The manager Doug is one of the rudest employees I've ever encountered. I was checking out with my mom, who was buying wine. The young lady couldn't check out my mother because she was underage. Doug then came and asked to see my ID as well. Now I used to work at a liquor store, and I was taught, the only way you're supposed to check ID is if you touch alcohol (which I didn't). He was like "well we see everyone's ID!" Which is bs because there was a woman near us who was buying wine with her children lol. I even said "well if I were a kid would you need to see ID too?" He replied "I'd need to see your diaper then" as he rolled his eyes at me. My mom just decided to return everything and he sarcastically said "have a nice day". I have worked customer service before, and I get how draining it can be, but it's no excuse to be rude. Also if the policy is to check everyone's ID then check EVERYONES ID, don't pick and choose. Apparently this store no longer has Greeters. That position looks like it turned into door guards on your way out where they basically make people line up to show their receipts right after you check out. You get watched during self-checkout, video-taped at check-out and then when you try to leave with your bagged goods they stop you on the way out. Time to stop coming here. We have done grocery pickup a lot since the virus. Pickup time was between 3:00-4:00. Received a message they were running late at 3:00. We were notified our order was ready at 3:22. We arrived at 3:46, called and told them what bay we were in. I spoke with two associates delivering groceries to cars and called for the manager three times and held at least 7 minutes each time. I finally walked into the store after we had waited an hour and 45 minutes. I finally saw the manager and got a chance to talk to him when we had been there an hour and 55 minutes. This is totally unacceptable. If you are going to offer pick up service, do not schedule so many at one time and please have enough associates to take care of it. There were cars everywhere waiting. For all those who do not know ,by law you do nor have to show a receipt for your purchase at any store .Once you pay for it it is considered your property and hence is not subject to search and seizure. The stores do not want you to know this but it is the law. They may look at you funny when you say NO Thanks and walk out because most of the employees do not even know this. I've been to a lot of Wal-Marts throughout my travels and have lived close to and shop mostly at this one since it was opened over 20+ years ago and this is by far the worst one. Far too many empty registers, even when the store is very very busy. The employees that are there, for the most part, seem as though they'd be anywhere but there. There are some exceptions - Rita up front is a treasure and Sandra in the wireless department is super helpful and friendly despite often being massively overwhelmed by customers. Best advise is to go to the store early in the morning, after the overnight stockers have left but before the mass of stupid humans arrive. read more
