Hit the Publix off Malabar and San Filippo while running down 95 toward Miami. Bathrooms were full and the front desk line was stacked up... probably thanks to the Powerball rush. Store itself was clean, shelves and displays set up nice and tidy. Nothing that really jumped out though... feels like an older building doing its best to keep pace with the newer Publix layouts. What did stand out was outside... the local drama club was out front fundraising. Brought me back to younger days and reminded me how these stores stay tied into their communities. read more

Now that my beloved KROGER pulled out of FL this is the best place to grocery shop. Although the prices are higher than some of the big box stores, the quality is excellent. I am thrilled with the BOGO offers and daily baked goods. The butcher is always willing to help find the exact products you are looking for and the customer service is second to none. The parking lot and store are fully accessible and there is always a set bagger willing to help you with your groceries if needed. Overall this place is excellent just a little high on the prices. read more

I love this particular Publix location because of the deli. Hardly ever a wait and the employees do a great job of exceeding your needs. I ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap my usual go to. Chicken was fresh along with the veggies. Really can never go wrong with this option! read more

I have never had a problem shopping at the Malabar publix. Meat department is always very accommodating. Cashiers are friendly and fast. Front desk doesn't hesitate in opening a register when lines start appearing. Everyone is polite and accommodating including the baggers. read more

Ordered ONE chicken tender sub online at 530pm. Pickup was supposed to be at 6:00pm. Waited 23 minutes after the scheduled time to go to customer service. The young lady at the front desk was polite and called a manager. I was told by another guy that had been waiting for his 6:05 pickup they dropped off more subs and to see if mine was there. I walked back to the deli and my sub was FINALLY waiting. I walked past the manger and said it took 24 minutes and he gave me the most apathic look in response. There was a third gentleman there before me who I bumped into while paying. He said they LOST his order and he had to get in line anyways to get his ONE sub he had ordered online. Bayside Lakes Publix Deli was chaotic and poorly managed. Don't bother ordering online. You'd probably be better off going to the one on Malabar Road. read more

Starting to go downhill. I live right between this location and the malabar lakes location. Up until recently, i've preferred this publix location. But now, there always seems to be a very long line for subs in the deli. It's also about a 50/50 shot on whether they actually have chicken tenders available for subs. Not sure if its a staffing problem, or new management, but something has changed recently for the worse and i'll be going to the malabar lakes location from now on. We used the delivery service. We indicated that the delivery person was to ring the doorbell when the order was delivered. I then received a notice that the order would be two hours late. After a few hours I later I checked my order status and found the ordered had been delivered. I looked outside and sure enough all the groceries were sitting outside my door on the hot concrete. The ice cream and all the frozen food were melted. The cheeses and milk were warm - everything was ruined! Upon further investigation, many items were substituted with cheaper products, substitutions that I had not authorized! We called Publix and they were rude and told us to contact instacart, that they had nothing to do with delivery, even though we placed our order using the Publix app. Horrible service from both Publix and instacart! read more

Tonight I went to Publix store on Palm Bay RD West Melbourne. I was going through checkout the bagger walked up as the cashier rang up my items. The bagger never said Hello or acknowledged me and walked away not bagging the only two items I had. Is good Customer service? Is Publix turning into a Big Box Store? So sad. read more

Once again, this location let me down. I was there at 5 o'clock this afternoon to pick up a few things. It was busy, as I expected. However, they only had three registers open. The express line and two others, that's it. The line at the express register stretched into the aisles of the store and the other two registers had lines, not quite as long. Then, the customer service counter had about ten customers in line. Not a single attempt to open other registers was made. Several employees walked by without so much as an apology for the long wait. It tool me almost a half an hour to purchase three items (27 minutes to be exact). This particular location is plagued with self indulged employees, inattentive management, and a general lack of customer service. I shop at Publix because I hold them to a higher standard over others such as Winn Dixie or Wal Mart. I totally understand having to wait on line to check out at a grocery store; however, I find it inexcusable that managers were walking around on the sales floor and were completely obvious to the long lines and lack of open registers at such a busy time of day. read more

Theres never been a Publix location that I didn't like. The shopping atmosphere is always pleasant. Not at all as hectic as shopping at Walmart. Plus Publix locations in both Palm Bay and Bayside are always excessively clean. All the employees are class acts. I'll shop at Publix long before I do Walmart. So, I have epilepsy and a couple days ago I had a seizure inside this Publix store. They brought me a chair and called 911, but thats not all. My 8 year old daughter was with us and they took her to get a drink, a coloring book, and a balloon and then took her into the break room and played a game with her. They went above and beyond and turned something that could have been extremely scary for my daughter into something that was not so scary. The employees at this store are amazing and I will always shop here from now on, it is well worth paying just a little bit more to shop at a place that cares. read more

One of the better publix in the area. The produce here is always nicer than Bay side, probably has to do with just pure volume as this location is always busy. They are also open later then Bay side location. It seems all Publix stores are pretty clean. Publix is higher priced than other grocery stores, but you know quality and service comes into play. One thing I always like about publix. If you act lost and ask someone how to find the things you need, because you wife send you here and now you feel like a lost puppy. They will pick everything on your list for you! You can actually be super lazy and not even have to be fat and using a scooter because they are free at the front of the store.(Yes, I have done it before) Good on you Publix, keeping giving us adults free cookies and ill keep buying my Subs here! Decided to use Publix delivery service when I tore my ACL because that seemed to be the logical thing to do. First delivery was good not really any problems so I thought I would use them again for some things I had forgotten first go around. Ordered them and they were delivered by the rudest delivery lady (Stella) that I have ever met ! I was on crutches opening the door and was trying to bring my groceries in she of course saw that but didn't seem to care to help but whatever then my dog who is deaf got out ( Frenchie Puppy) which is deaf . I told her he was deaf and was trying to get my groceries in and get my dog. He followed her to her car Like most puppies do and I keep saying sorry and was trying to get him . She said " You need to control your dog " I said again he is deaf it's kinda hard but I am trying ,he wasn't jumping on her or anything just followed her . She then told me I need to figure it out ! What ! Lady so rude . So I immediately went in and emailed Publix about the delivery and how rude she was. Didn't get any response back from them about it! I am paying $100 for delivery service plus tipping the people over 25% and this is how they treat you no thanks !!!! Switched to Walmart delivery and they are so much nicer . read more

I always enjoy shopping at the Malabar Publix. It is always clean and well stocked. They just completed a reorganization of the store, it now takes me a little longer to shop. The associates are very friendly and helpful. They are always available and interested in a quick chat. This is especially true of Reba and Alicia. If you ask where something is in the store, they take you to it. read more

I have filled my prescriptions at this location many times. I have never been treated more rudely. The tech was short, huffed and puffed because I asked questions regarding my medication. She violated Hipaa guidelines but calling out the names of my medication. I will never go back and I intend to file a formal complaint. I would not even give one star but I had to in order to post this review. Every other publix has been great but this location pharmacy should hire people who really care about those they are serving read more
