Publix at Parkland Commons has been my go-to location for years, and it's easily my favorite Publix. The location is convenient, the area is nice, and there's plenty of parking. Everything is always clean, organized, and fresh. I especially love their bakery. I've ordered birthday cakes and fruit pastry trays from them many times, and everything has always been delicious, fresh, and not overly sweet, which I really appreciate. Their sushi is my regular pick, and this visit was no exception. My kids love the popcorn chicken (mini chicken nuggets), and I have to mention their huge selection of kombucha--probably one of the best around. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and shopping here is consistently a pleasant experience. Overall, this is our favorite Publix location, and we keep coming back. read more

Was just at the Publix deli counter in Parkland and wanted some pastrami sliced. The one person working there was busy slicing meat and not looking it up at counter. After 10 plus minutes I asked for help. She told me that there was meat in the display cooler, not knowing what I wanted. I told her I wanted something special cut for me. She again tells me to look at display cabinet and see what's there. I don't go to Publix's to ask what I should buy, if the deli is open for business, then a customer should get what they want. I don't need to be debating with a store person what I want. The deli customer service is Terrible. The people don't want to work. This is not the first time the service was bad. This is a horrible experience and there were no Other customers waiting for help. read more

Publix shopper for 30+ yrs. It's a shame the service has gone so far down hill. 10:30 am the seafood not put out, fresh veg/fruit not restocked, no chicken cooked... Deli staff dumb as rocks. Went at 5:30 for a large soup. Soup was empty. I asked if they were reheating more - was told no, it was too late. 5:30 is late? That's dinner time. Lazy staff. The large container is sold for 9.99. Their cost is probably less than $5 for the entire soup canister that is reheated that probably serves 8 large containers. So dumb - they lost money. I've been to this Publix many times and most of the time shopping is definitely a pleasure. However when I went today on a Saturday, they seemed not staffed to adequacy. The lines were longer than at the Publix that's closer to my house. There also was no manager to assist at the customer service counter while the cashier was having issues. Several people left the store and of course others switched to already long lines. Although this sounds like a 1 star review the reason there's 3 stars is because I've been here many times in the past where it's very squared away so maybe this was a one-off experience. If I go another time on a Saturday and it's the same as it was today, unfortunately I'll have to take it down to 1 star. read more

This Publix supermarket instead of getting better is worsening everyday. I expressed many times before, including YELP reviews and an email to Publix customer service, the ridiculously shortage of availability of pork meat cuts. Well, is getting worse now, if you have a party of 15 persons and decide to throw down a pork BBQ event, you are done. Just check my picture. Only two bone in trays of pork chops. But today we are lucky. I FOUND A SLAB OF RIBS. YUHUUUU!!!!. This picture represents daily availability and this was not, a one moment in time situation. I approached the meat handler regarding the few items for sale on display and guess was his replay. Great area, very nice and pleasant staff, always so helpful and management is always on top of things. Plenty of parking, in a big plaza filled with cafe, restaurant, day care, shipping center, animal hospital and more. But, I'm only giving them 4 stars because lately their veggies and fruits are very bad. Berries especially, always gone bad and I can never buy cilantro or parsley, they're soft and almost dry. I never thought I'd be reviewing a grocery store, but here I am. First, I love Publix in general, I used to shop at the Brookside location but when COVID first hit (pre-masks) it was just too busy for my comfort level so I sought out a different location. When this Parkland Commons location first opened, I started going there but you really had to check the dates of your food because many times it would be a day or two near the expiration date. Sometimes even expired so I stopped going. I suspect it was because that area was so remote that they didn't have enough business. Fast forward a few years, a lot of new communities and COVID.....this location is awesome. I decided to try it out at an off time and I found my new Publix. It's rarely busy, it's super clean, stocked and every single employee asks if they can help you. read more

I frequent this Publix because it is close to home. It has fewer items than the Coral Ridge location but I enjoy shopping here because it is less crowded and there is always someone available to help you find what you need. The store is always clean and organized. Most items are usually very fresh. The bakery is great as is the floral section. read more

Store is generally quiet, though it has been picking up quite a bit in comparison to how it use to be due to the increased amount of home building. Sharon and Derick are great and helpful. They are now in the produce area. Dave and Kathleen at check out have been there for a while, they are nice and get you in and out. Giancarlo is always friendly and helpful in the produce and floral area. He has great energy! You know what.... All the employees are nice! These idiots at Publix Parkland Commons pharmacy have no idea what they're doing. They routinely break Florida law. I have overheard them giving, or trying to give, their incorrect medical advice to so many customers who I then track down and give the correct information to. That's what you get when you get a bunch of people with barely a high school degree who couldn't get into medical school a little power to dispense medicated soaps in a grocery store. This publix is so frustrating! My salon is right next door so my coworkers and I are in publix a lot! The only other options we have for lunch/dinner in the plaza are a terrible pizza place (power pizza) ice cream, or the fancy restaurant (Deja blue) I really need to start consistently brining my own food to work lol Anyways, I always find myself down the frozen food isle to grab a quick lean cuisine I can pop in my salons microwave because I'm constantly disappointed with the prepared foods & the sub station. So Ive learned if I want a sub I need to place the order online and then go pick it up. This is because the line is always forever long and the workers move very slow/train new employees with a full line of customers & I need to get back to work. BUT every time I order online my order is wrong! Like totally wrong... one time it was white bread instead of wheat, another time no mayo/mustard so the sub was very dry. So now that I don't even consider getting a sub I'll get soup (but that's very rare) because they always look terrible like they have been sitting in the metal soup pot since at least the night before. It's always the same 4 soups...once in awhile they switch one up so I wouldn't be surprised if they do just reuse soup that didn't sell for the day for the next few days until it's no longer okay to serve/consume. Next I'll look at the salads & their always pathetic. The lettuce is not fresh looking at all, the amount of protein is very scarce & I refuse to pay $8 for that. I know this is a "training" publix in a very unpopulated area so I should cut them some slack on not carrying everything that every other publix carries but I wish they could at least have the prepared sushi in the seafood department. Very nice store. This store is not as busy as the regular Publix that are around town because of its location in the north portion of Parkland. Since it's such a new store it's very clean updated and modern. read more

Located all the way at the northwest side of Parkland, this is a very spacious and calm Publix. They have a relatively large selection of product, both organic and conventional. They also carry more variety of each item than other nearby Publix. I like coming to this Publix because it is not as busy as most due to its location. It also has a spacious layout that makes it easy to push the cart around. The staffs are all very friendly. The verdict: My go to Publix in Parkland. read more

They constantly get my online deli order wrong or it is not ready at the time I pick it up. This isn't an isolated incident it happens often. 2pm my order was supposed to be ready I get there at 2:15 and they didn't even make it yet. I ordered the Italian sub and asked for them to leave off the ham, they left all the ham in and took out the salami. Are they hiring people who cannot Read? I contacted corporate about this many times but this is still happening to frequently at the parkland publix. read more

This is a review for all of this Publix. My entire family shops here and we have come to know most of the employees who always greet us very warmly and ensure that we are happy. Just as a side note the pharmacy is amazing here and both Lisa and heather deserve raises. They work so hard to ensure the clients get what is needed and are satisfied. They also make sure that we understand the uses and side effects of medication. They even go so far as to ensure that there are no potential conflicts with other medications Management has also come through for us multiple times to order hard to find or new products that we want. read more
