This Publix always has the items I need and the managers are always walking around to help if needed to find merchandise. The deli area always prepares fat sub sandwiches for about $11.00. They are not quick making it but the subs are delish. The customer service people are friendly and the FL Lotto lines go quickly. They always stock our craft beer or will try to order new product brands.

Very quick service in the pharmacy with knowledgeable staff. The fruits always look vibrant ripe and they have a large variety of cheeses in the deli. The bakery always smells delish and they will cut any full loaf of bread for you. They have a massive section of energy drinks. Before 5pm weekdays it is an easy in and out. Lottery tickets are sold here at the customer service center and no waiting line today.

I was in the area and I went in to get some popcorn since I was running low. This Publix is located in the Sawgrass Square shopping center, which is huge...you really can't tell from the road, but the shopping mall is really spread out. This particular Publix is very clean and the staff is very pleasant...when you walk past them, they acknowledge you and they greet you with a smile. Nice shopping experience.

If you know, then you know.

Publix has a forever place in my heart. There are way too many memories from my formative years attached to this brand, from high school to college and beyond. It's pure nostalgia for me. This is a bigger store that serves a lot of nearby households, and they've got it all! Full service deli, sub counter, bakery, meat department, dairy, seafood, and pharmacy, and more. This store is well laid out, and products are easily found. It's also nice and spacious, so you won't feel crowded by other shoppers either. All in all, this is the Publix experience I've come to expect, and why they say Publix is where shopping is a pleasure.

    BOGO this week!

The deli looked enticing with pre-made sandwiches with chicken and salmon in filets sold by the pound. We took some pastries home, and even after being left overnight in the refrigerator, they were still fresh and tasted amazing the next day. The parking lot is absolute chaos. Cars cutting through lanes, shopping carts appearing out of nowhere, people backing out like they're qualifying for the Daytona 500... getting from your car to the front door becomes a real-life game of Frogger with groceries on the line. Once inside, the store definitely shows its age. It's older, a little worn down, and there's kind of a permanent "this building has seen some things" vibe happening throughout the place. The lighting feels tired. The floors feel tired. Honestly, parts of the store feel like they're just trying to make it to retirement. That said... credit where it's due. The prices are good, the selection is solid, and for a smaller format Walmart, they actually carry a pretty decent variety of products. If you're trying to knock out grocery shopping without paying Publix prices, this place absolutely gets the job done. The staff? Nobody was rude, but there's definitely an atmosphere of "I am physically here, but emotionally I left two hours ago." It's not hostile... just very low-energy. Like the entire building collectively needs a vacation. At the end of the day, this Walmart is basically the definition of average. Not terrible. Not amazing. A little dingy, a little chaotic, but useful and reasonably priced. Three stars feels exactly right because three stars is the official Yelp rating for "Well... it exists, and I bought groceries."

The small egg roll was actually for $1.00. The prices for produce, veggies and other items were deep discounted. For example: 18 large eggs for $3.97, full watermelon $4.62, or sweet corn .33 cents each and was told they go down on occasion to .25 each. Purchased two cartons of 18 large eggs, which scanned correctly at $3.97 each. The store was visually clean and the staff that actually spoke english assisted me with a few price checks. The front entrance is where the carts are usually parked, but on this particular day, there were only two carts in the cart parking area, both of which had wobbly wheels. I love Aldi and Trader Joe's and it makes sense because they have two German brothers in common…read more The abbreviated history is that Aldi's and Trader Joe's were owned by the two brother's who fell out over whether or not to sell cigarettes. In 1962, they introduced the name Aldi, short for Albrecht-Diskont, which translates into English as Albrecht Discount. The company split into Aldi Süd and Aldi Nord, which operate thousands of stores in Europe, the United Kingdom and Australia. Aldi Süd controls the U.S. chain of Aldi stores while Aldi Nord operates in the U.S. as Trader Joe's. ALDI opened its first U.S. store in Iowa in 1976 and now has more than 2,200 stores and is headquartered in Batavia, Illinois. While Trader Joe's has great prices, Aldi will beat them and just about everyone else's prices every time. You can still signs of that German heritage all over Aldi's like in their German line of products called Deutsche Kuche, which offers offers beer, chocolate, roasted coffee, and uncured Bavarian bratwurst. If you want to save money on groceries, Aldi's is a great way to do it. In order to bring you those low prices Aldi's has instituted some cost cutting measures. If you want a cart you will need to bring a quarter and to get your money back you need to return your cart from the parking lot back to the store saving employees from having to collect the carts. You will also have to bring your own bags or pay for theirs. Sometimes I'll just grab one of their empty boxes. Lines used to be long in store because they keep their staff to a bare bones minimum but since they added self checkout I rarely wait in line anymore. I was at Sawgrass Mills Mall and needed a few items so I popped into this location near the mall on Sunrise Blvd. There are now 208 Aldi locations throughout Florida so there is always one near by when I need it. The store was clean and well organized. I was able to easily grab what I needed and I had fun checking out the new Aisle of Shame inventory where they have a lot of cleaning products and exercise equipment in anticipation of the new year. My new favorite Aldi product is the Coconut Hydration Electrolytes Blue Mix Sticks in the blue raspberry flavor. They are only 15 calories and make your water taste delicious. Thanks to them I'm carrying my Owala with me wherever I go. I also love that this Aldi had the self checkout that allowed me to get out quickly and on my way to my next adventure.

FOOD SHOPPING RED ALERT…read more.. Lots of people I know swear by the Aldi cheap food prices so this is my first Aldi adventure to see if this is truth or fable. At first glance as I enter the vestible, are a long stacknof LOCKED, shopping carts that have .25 cents imprinted on the top of the cart to rent. Then if you return the cart you are reimbursed the quarter. Also, there are no shopping bags provided. The store is much smaller than Publix but it seems to be easily navigated with wide aisles and the food sections are largely displayed on the walls. The prices for similar Publix or Winn Dixie items seem slightly lower on most items. Looking for a simple seeded rye bread was a failure, although, they did offer a large variety of private and recognizable national brands. The beer section was fully stacked and noticed that the prices were extremely competitive. The best deals were the bags of mini avocados for $3.69 instead of the competition price of $5.19 or one gallon of whole milk by Friendly Farms for $3.02. I grabbed a bag of avocados and walked to the self checkout and noticed they dont accept cash, so paid the low price on my credit card and left. After the completion of this shopping project, I would have to agree that there are deep discounted deals here and many reviewers were correct.
