Ordered a chicken tender sub from this Publix store. Was terrible! Never again will I order from this location. Chicken tenders were cut up in tiny pieces. Hardly any chicken. All lettuce. It was like they had one small chicken tender piece and tried to fill up a full size sub and cut it up into micro size bits. Publix should be embarrassed to serve this and charge this high cost. Not making delighted customers for sure. Telling everyone I know not to order from this Publix. This is not just a bad experience. It's insulting to me a loyal Publix customer for 3 decades. Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars. read more

Every time I think hey it's worth the price because it's quality. I come to this location and they prove me wrong. I usually don't shop at Publix, but when I do, it ends up being far more expensive and far more aggravating than it is worth. Today it was simply for a sub. Now mind you there are so many other places I could get a sub sandwich and I just thought you know what it sounds good. Today I came in there's only one person working the sandwiches. I wait my 10 minutes while they make the one sub in front of me. When it's my turn, they're out of literally everything. The deli manager had to slice more meat then he had to go find the special mayonnaise and then he had to go into the store to find another sandwich product that they didn't have ready to go. Honestly, it looked horrible because it was the deli manager, and if anybody should make sure that they are stocked and ready to go for their shift it should be them. Mind you this was at 11 AM. It was not midday. It's not like they ran out. They just were not prepared. So after waiting another 15 minutes for them to make a single wrap I go up to the register. I stand in line mind you there were only three to choose from so I had to get into a longer line than I would prefer. I'm patiently waiting, but the cashier has a woman in front of her who is not moving. She's not paying she's having issues and I stood there for another 10 minutes. Then I had to go to an entirely different line and wait in line again. A 35 minute experience leaving with one single item is absolutely ridiculous. On top of it by the time, I made it back and realized the quality of that eight dollar wrap I just paid for there was a single slice of cheese two pieces of meat and not enough dressing on there. It was just an absolute disaster. I cannot imagine how it is so difficult to coordinate a functional expensive grocery store. I'm just done with Publix as a whole. read more

I have to say... I was nervous because I had never used this bakery before but it was close to the venue. The bakery did an amazing job with the cake and cupcakes. I couldn't have been more pleased with the presentation! Great great job to whoever designed/made this cake. Thank you!! I wouldn't be nervous at all to use them again!!!! I went to the Publix on jog & okeechobee to exchange a mayo I bought. Just to exchange for the same expect brand but not non fat. I told the person at customer service. He said we have new management they don't take anything back without a receipt. I said I don't want to return it I just want to exchange it. He said same thing. We don't take Anything back. I said there is the sign in back of you that you will not knowingly disappoint me if I'm not happy. Well I wasn't happy that they are the only Publix that doesn't take anything back return or exchange. I am very disappointed in that Publix. read more

Skip going to Walmart, and Winn-Dixie and just go to Publix for now on. Publix staff are amazing (even the cashiers), the store in general is super clean, and everything is well organized. Nothing thrown around in different places like with other competition. The best thing I think that you can buy from or take from the Publix brand if you are new are there Publix sub's. They are pretty amazing; right above Subway quality I have to say. Publix should just be the standard in the Supermarket industry/cooperation. I pre ordered 5 subs from here and all five of the orders were completely wrong. As a warning to everyone in the area, DO NOT ORDER SUBS FROM THIS PUBLIX. It seems as if the person making the subs put whatever toppings he or she would like and didn't even bother to read the order. I understand that mistakes get made every now and then but this was pure incompetence. So not only am I and five of my friends displeased, some of us can't even eat them because of dietary restrictions. I have never had such a horrible experience at any Publix in my life. read more

publix fresh made subs all publix supermarkets in fla., ga, etc have been voted to have the best cold or hot subs. they are made to order as you watch and select toppings 15+ on fresh baked sub rolls, white, wheat, seeded. the sandwiches are made with quality meats and cheeses but for a little more money you can get famous boar's head brand known the world over. the subs are available in 6,12" and 3 foot sizes. also available are trays where the subs are sliced into 1/2" pieces. if you are going to have a party or order a lot they prefer you order a day in advance by phone or online. some of the varieties of hot subs are pulled pork, chicken tenders, chicken cord en blue. the deli also features delicious fried chicken cooked fresh throughout the day. the prices are reasonable and you are getting a real sandwith not 6" of bread. . read more

Now we usually go to the publix on southern and we order it online and it is always made wrong, minimal or missing ingredients.Today we went over to the deli and were waited on by Sonny. My wife and i were amazed at this beautifully plump sandwich. Lol. My wife even commented to Sonny, "every publix needs an employee like you making sandwiches" Sonny's response "I can't make a sandwhich that i wouldn't eat myself" I wish everyone had his work ethic. I have lived next to this Publix for 3 years, and won't shop anywhere else unless it's necessary. The staff is amazing, the selection is plenty, and there are lots of healthy options. I save a LOT of money with all of the store's BOGO specials and deals of the week- don't believe the hype when people tell you Publix is "expensive". read more

This is your standard Publix supermarket; it has all the amenities you come to expect. However, the lady who was working the Lotto machine was rather rude to me during my visit. So I would recommend going to a different location to check your tickets. read more

Larry does not eat subs, so he is unable to wax poetic about the ones made at the deli here. However Larry can attest to the fact that the place is clean and well stocked for a mid size grocery store. For you curious readers who have read the book "Grocery", you know that stores are stocked to reflect the eating habits of their customers. So one can tell a lot about the locale by simply walking the aisles of the local grocery. So Larry deduce that the indigenous population do not eats lots of produce Cuz the section of this store bees the size of a couple of heads of iceberg lettuce. But if you want fried chicken or candy, they got you covered. Bread aisle fully loaded and the meat area is about two football fields long. Larry concludes that if he were a heart surgeon,this should be an excellent good to set up shop. The peeps here are great though. Very nice and helpful and they still offer to take your cart to the car. Haven't seen that in years. read more

I like the store, it's always clean. But I personally really hate being hounded to walk your groceries to your car. Coming from the Northeast, I was never accustomed to this! Some people might like it, but when I say I'm alright with walking my things out they always INSIST to do it for me- meaning a long, awkward trip I would love to avoid. read more
