I was walking out of the store today and as I hit the outside, I dropped one of my grocery bags and cracked open the jar of Goober. Right behind me was Courtney, I'm assuming in management, and she saw what happened and brought me back in the store and replaced the product. She definitely didn't have to because it was all my fault. You never know what someone is going through in that moment and all I can say is I've gone through it lately and she just made my day. Thank you Courtney - now you'll always remember where the Goober is! read more

Rotten Watermelon, rotten zucchini in 3 pack, rotten and sprouted potato in bag, old cauliflower, yellow old parsley - could not make a soup out of nasty old veggies. How can Publix sell the old rotten produce at this location? read more

Had a nasty racist teller in Publix today by the name of Mary. She started a problem with the wrong guy. I owned a prestigious truck building company in NY and dealt with some real tough business customers. I worked my ass off building the business till I sold and retired at 40. I know what it is to see racist and patronizing people far worse then this one. She came out with her nasty racist attitude right off the bat. I am 58 she was probably 70. I treat everyone fairly but she got nasty with that patronizing smile right off. I acted like I didn't see it then she tried to rob us on a buy 2 get 2 special. I sitting I didn't know. The pharmacy at the Dunnellon Publix is wonderful. Danille, Belinda, Nick, and Cesar all make me feel like I'm the most important customer. This pharmacy is very busy. When I received my vaccine, the process took about 30 minutes. During this time I got to observe them in action. Customers generally come to a pharmacy because they don't feel good which leads to grumpiness and a lack of patience. Every customer was met with kindness, understanding, and grace. Great job. Publix Deli Fried Chicken. The wife has no taste buds. Insists on bringing this old tuff dried out yardbird home. Has the consistency of jerky and stinks like it should be out of date. The garbage is a home wrecker. Id rather eat road kill. read more

The donut, Ill be honest I was expecting dry and very little filling, ala Dunkin, but No! Thos was a deliciius, tender dough, and LOTS of filling! It was a decadent experience. My loaded avocado toast, and it was not at all what I expected, it was better! Instead of just mashed avocado, it was a thick piece of multi grain bread, spread with cream cheese, salad mix, and sliced avocado, with 2 eggs any style. I asked for scrambled, dry and they were perfect. Honestly its several hours later and I'm still thinking about that donut.
