I like this Publix simply because of one of the ladies at the customer service. She is always so kind and makes shopping at this Publix a pleasure. Beyond that, the other customer service members could use some training. One instance I was standing in line waiting all for someone to come out of nowhere and call someone who was behind me up front. LIke are you serious right now? Anyways, beyond that, the store is always stocked and I actually can find what I need at this location when stuff is on sale. read more

As the Publix, I never have a problem with inside, the people are pretty nice and very helpful. However, I do not recommend going there on Fridays because the people on the outside are downright dangerous. They drive recklessly through the parking lot. They will run over pedestrians they don't like to stop. They're pretty much angry and the people on the inside Publix probably have to deal with these unforgiving people. So stay away from it on a Friday if you have to, but stay safe if your it's necessary. read more

I went to the location near North Lake Mall. I visit often. I used to get the wings all of the time. I tried a sandwich also previously it was good. I went there this time for one thing only the fried chicken. I had a coworker who used to get this chicken daily it seemed. You can't beat the quality and quantity. 10 pc for $10.00. Best fried chicken from a grocery store I ever had. The flavor and the taste is delicious. They know what they are doing. read more

I had no idea they closed the location I went to for years in the chic fil a complex and move down the street. It's nice but they were really low on stock. Got what I needed though. Worked in Tucker for years, never foresaw them revamping the area and adding new businesses. It looks good. It's where the old sears warehouse was on mountain Industrial. read more

The deli employees are horrible!!!! I was in line for the hot side and the lady told me to hold on while she talked her coworker about personal matters... I walked away and just went to the sandwich station, barely any meat on the line. And whatever was on the line is all the employee (Kanita) wanted to use. She didn't offer to slice any meat or anything. read more

I was disappointed when this moved down the street. But I must agree, it was for the best. The shopping plaza is nicer. The store is larger. The traffic.... Not so nice during rush hour but you can plan your trip. Employees are helpful, selection is awesome. I have no complaints. read more

Not sure what's happening but the quality of this store is going down hill, we've been visiting this store from day 1 when they moved from their other location that is now crunch fitness. We went to get subs, it was after 2 pm and was not lunch time, they were out of toppings but isn't this a grocery store?. It took forever just to get 1 sub and there were knats and fly's. Publix you've got to do better. read more

We need another Publix (almost ANY given neighborhood where the big 'P' roams) like we need another corner gas station, right? This particular one, less than a mile our daughter's place in Georgia, is at least replacing an older one just down the road. In the brand-new design/layout, these stores are undeniably attractive and pleasant to shop in, and Publix staff are usually friendly and helpful. As usual, Publix often has very nice BOGOFs that are hard-to-beat, and they almost never run out of sale items; but also as usual, their regular prices of other products, particularly in meats and produce, are ouch-inducing - you don't have to be Katie Porter to put that package of bacon back. As beautifully arrayed as their produce is, the non-sale prices are often 2x or more what I'd pay at other options available to me. Still, having a grocer AND a pharmacy so close to home for our daughter's family is definitely a boon, even if she'll still be getting most of her stuff from Aldi, Jusgo....etc., I'm sure. read more

hands down the worst deli/sub service. given this place too many times and they continue to disappoint. ordered subs online and an hour later they are still not ready. they seem short staffed behind the counter yet there's a dozen or so staff just watching as this line continues to grow. zero sense of urgency. the publix on shallowford is the way to go. read more

I moved to Tucker in 2009 and have always been a customer of Publix when it comes to buying groceries. I don't love this new location at Mountain Industrial as the intersection is a mess during afternoon and evening rush hours, not to mention the parking lot is poorly designed, but that is not the reason for this review. The Deli. HORRIBLE!!! Whoever designed this Publix and decided to put the Deli in an isolated area located right by the front door was a genius. I am being facetious. This design is terrible. The employees have to walk from the kitchen through the store making their way between customers to re-stock items. The cases where the grab and go sandwiches and salads used to be are now behind glass doors on shelves, which are not easy to access. The bakery is in the back of the store...what? Why would you put the deli and the bakery on complete opposite ends of the store? Also, picked up a rotisserie chicken and realized when I got it home that it was OLD. The quality control is absent as this is not the first time I have picked up a chicken and/or chicken wings that were cold, old, dry and disgusting. The deli area is a complete mess. read more
