Sunday evening at Publix and we stopped here to shop for the week in our nearby Airbnb now that we know what we can expect for a kitchen appliances and space. Super easy to pick up some frozen entrees, cream for coffee and bagels with fixings for breakfast. This late, the produce department was still well stocked and we had no problem finding what we needed. The store is similar to other Publix markets I've shopped around the Southeast from Mount Juliet TN to Fort Myers FL and my home store in Charlotte NC. Im not one to go a write reviews, I usually just let things roll off my shoulder but this really grinds my gears ! I go to my neighborhood Publix, and waltz over the the substation. I ask for the sub special which happen to be the ultimate sub special, with the exception of a sub I asked for it to be wrapped . Then I'm told by the employee at the sub station that she can not honor the sub special if it is being wrapped. I'm baffled ! How does that make sense? Your telling me that one tortilla wrap cost more than loaf of bread ? I beg to differ Furthermore I'm saving Publix a whole loaf of bread for any other customer to use for whatever sub they prefer wether special or not ! I couldn't believe what I was being told , so I proceeded to ask the manager . She expressed to me the same . It just doesn't make any sense ! read more

I know we are going through an epidemic with the coronavirus but I did not realize the store closes at 8 o'clock. I arrive there at 8:01 PM and since I was not able to shop I just asked if I could please use the bathroom since I live 25 minutes away. I work south of there but I live north of there. I was amazed that I was not allowed. The security guard was nice and tried to convince the blond man to let me in. There were still people online and I told him it would only take me 2 minutes. I had to go really bad. He sent me to the gas station across the street which I would not go. I begged with no success. I've been living in Florida for almost 30 years shopping in different locations in Publix. Never have I been treated like this before. Now I understand where all the bad reviews come from for this particular store. There needs to make some changes. read more

The best Publix ever! I'm been shopping here since 1962, and the service and quality has never been less than outstanding. 56 years of yummy foods brought into my house and prepared for yummy consumption. The staff here are world class polite and ever helpful. That's a tradition set forth by Mr. Hayes from a long time ago. His legacy lives on in this world class establishment. Come check it out! Oh yeah, and they have an awesome little Cafe inside that makes mega ultra yummy coffee and other little yum yums. I like this Publix. It's large, carries most everything, is usually well stocked and employees are friendly for the most part.

I asked a manager how a shopper is supposed to know how clearance items have been discounted. Discounted items are not labeled to show regular price amount and the reduced price or the percentage taken off on non-perishables. The manager suggested to go to find item in regular aisle and compare the prices. I thought this was odd. Why would a clearance item be still on sale in the aisle? I noticed that many items on clearance items seemed expensive. For two for one items, it is easy to know the item is discounted 50%. At Safeway in California clearance items show regular store price and then a bold label is attached showing percentage discount and price of reduced items. Publix needs to be more transparent and realize that its customers need to make informed choices. Beware! read more

I've been to A LOT of publix and this one is absolutely the worst I've been to based on customer service. Every employee that works in the deli and sandwich department has the worse attitude. This seems very uncharacteristic based on Publix values. I would guess this is a management problem that needs resolved. read more

Customer service personnel at this store are the rudest I've encountered. I'll avoid this store in the future. Mean lady servicing the customer service desk must dislike her job. She pulled me out of line stating I was in the wrong line for a return although there was no sign to indicate this. Not sure why this store would allow such rude employees. read more

The pictures speak for themselves. Got the cake without the swirls. When I saw it I wasn't completely satisfied so I kindly asked if they could darken their purple and add some purple piping around the top of the cake like it was on the bottom. I didn't even say anything to her about how off centered the 8 was. She gave it back to me like this. Mind you she already had attitude. I've also gotten attitude from her before this. It's the younger girl in the bakery, always has her make up done up. When she was supposed to be fixing the cake the older woman came over and they started bickering about the cake. Not sure what happened but this is what I ended up with and I wasn't comfortable to ask anything else. I should've gone to the manager but I really didn't have time to sit around and wait for them now to probably re ice the whole cake. All in all, it looks like a child made this cake. I could've done it better myself and would've if I knew this was going to happen. read more

Store opens at seven. At 9 AM the seafood case was still basically empty. There were items on sale I wanted to get but could not, told to come back. Sale tags were not up on the shelves. Mashed potatoes On sale for over one week past their sell by date. All of them in the keys were out of date. Mentioned to rep working A I SLE, and he just put them back in their place, I had pulled them all out he just put them back. BEWARE no one cares you might be buying out of date product. The deli here is by far the worst staff !! I come here often cause I work right around the corner .... of course Publix subs are the best .... it's nice to have extra meat on you sub but there is a such thing as to much meat not to mention my bread crumbled as I was trying to eat it ... Danielle made my sub today 1/2 roast beef she didn't cut the meat she just folded it over and put it on the bread .... there is just no care .... cashiers have no personality just hi and have a great day... Bunch of addicts and people with nothing better to do always hanging around the entrance hawking you for money. Deli is by far the worst I've ever been to. Slow, terrible customer service, and generally unhappy deli clerks who make the whole experience a chore. Cashiers are an upside as they're fast and normally smiling. Produce department is hit or miss. I've come on numerous occasions to be greater by flies hovering over the produce, stock associates are nice enough though. It's a high volume store, so I've always been willing to cut some slack but after coming here for so long only to watch the quality decline, I've got to give them only one star. read more

I started going to this store more than 20 years ago and wow has it gone downhill. Just wasted a trip to Publix trying to find items advertised on sale. Two-for-one ham steaks - and only one there. Eye round roast on sale but the only cuts of beef available were of course more expensive. I waited patiently by the butcher's window to see if he had any, but he kept ignoring me. I finally yelled across the room to ask, but his mumbled reply was inaudible, and he refused to come to the window. If I wanted empty store shelves I'd go to Trader Joe's. Publix always used to have good red strawberries from Plant City, but now it mostly has nasty hard whitish berries from someplace called Riverview - why? Prices have soared in recent years at Publix, and now the service at Walmart is no worse, so I guess I'll get most of my groceries at Walmart and save a lot of money. I already get nearly all my produce at Don Victorio's, which is better and far cheaper than Publix. read more

My favorite Publix in the WPB area, especially for the coffee bar in front of the store. The moment you pull up to the parking lot you can smell Bustelo brewing and the toasted cuban bread with butter...talk about inviting hmm hmm hmm. The staff is always friendly and helpful. read more

This publix as a whole is awful, but this particular review pertains to the deli. First of all good luck getting a sub made correctly even when your standing right in front of them. If you are thinking about trying to order online please reconsider, they are, on average, 30 mins past whatever time they say it will be ready, and you can bet that your order will be completely wrong. After multiple attempts with this location I am giving up. And God forbid you try to speak to a manager, you will be left wanting. read more
