My last lang was bought used but it was just months old. This time I wanted a brand spanking new one. I went to their shop in Nahunta, Ga. to pick it up. There I met the pit master of their competition team. He showed me a couple of place where my name was wrote on the steel. This smoker was made for ME nobody else. He spent a good amount of time with me showing me some of his tricks and some features of this smoker. They have made some improvements that they have made over the years. Then I got to meet Bob Lang himself. The man, the legend, the designer of this smoking machine. He was very nice and happy that I allowed his to make me a smoked. We had a long and eventful talk as he walked me through his shop. I learned quite a few things about their smokers. They roll their own steel and that machine is huge. They probably had 10-12 smokers inside in different stages of assembly. Once again Bob thanked me for buying one of their smokers. But, I explained to him that I have smoked on a lang for many years and I just needed a replacement unit. I have been blessed with a great job and family. I work very hard for my money so I play even harder. These smokers are to me the hands down best stick burner out there. Many of people have tried to copy but all have fell short. Third, they build in all costs, no purchasing cords, cables or vents on top of the appliance like you do at big box shops with Coastal. Lastly, like you need another reason? They service their products. You can call Glenn and get someone on your doorstep in a day or two. This shop deserves more than five stars. It's an exceptional experience you won't soon forget! I went in and made a deal predicated on getting the kitchen in two weeks. Seven weeks later no kitchen, no call backs, oh and guess what? Marc no longer works there. The only person whoever picks of the phone is the highly apologetic and completely ineffectual receptionist. I want my kitchen or I want my money back. The excuse caboose has left the station. I recommend customers avoid this contractor.

The first thing that I noticed, was the pleasant & most friendly voice from the receiver. The first quality of exemplary customer service is patience. Which is what was given throughout the conversation. What is most notable with regards to excellent service, is when a business can back up its claims. And A-1 delivered just that. In ways in which they could not assist me, I was referred to another vendor that carries the product that was needed. By doing this, this showed business integrity. The willingness to assist the public at the expense of possibly loosing that customer to another business. In reference to the previous negative review, let me just state this fact. We are all human, which means we are fallible, subject to errors & mistakes. Most of the time, the owner of a business is not aware of the mishaps until the fall out begins.
