Quotes were provided and we decided to only do the garage work. Scheduled start Monday morning. On Sunday evening I decided to install a ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms but there's not fixture there. Jason responded quickly and after discussing, said they could get it done on the same day. John and his apprentice showed up at the earlier portion of the promised time. John checked out the garage and the bedroom along with the attic access, laid out for me what they were going to do, and got to work. The work was absolutely professional. I had rather a unique situation at the NY cottage. The moron, errr seller, had hung a light by just a wire. No box. It was not to code, but the inspector (a total POS who was probably paid off by the seller) pooh-poohed it (Kenny warned me not to name and shame him, alas, so I will merely wish him very bad karma). I was not enchanted by the light, and wanted a chandelier. Bad Plumber (don't ask) was going to hang it for $50. Another guy wanted $150. I figured that Kenny would be in the middle. I was wrong. It was $175. However, he put in a metal box, added a wooden brace, and made the chandelier adjustable. So, money well spent. The light works perfectly, and Kenny also replaced an upside-down broken outlet ($25). He showed me his Master Electrician license. I do agree that he absolutely knows what he's doing. I need more work done. While Kenny is perhaps more expensive than I would like, I know that things will be done correctly. So that's a huge plus.

I've had him do all sorts of electrical work over the years, from replacing outlets, to upgrading my entire electrical system, installing high hats, rewiring rooms, grounding my pool, making sure everything is safe throughout the house, and even fixing other people's shoddy work from before we moved in. Scheduling is also a breeze, this isn't one of those companies where you have to schedule 10 years out and then they give you a window between like 8am and 5pm and then they show up at 7:30pm, if at all. Rather, Tim's always around within a few days and shows up at a specific time, so I don't have to take the whole day off of work so I can look out my living room window all day. It's nice to know that the work is going to get done promptly, the right way, at a reasonable cost to boot. Perhaps there is still some hope in this meaningless world after all. We recently asked him to come and fix our lights on front yard and driveway which has not worked properly for the past 20 years. Al took his time to figure out the problem and fixed our lights.
