My son was craving birria tacos.. so this is the closest place in Cibolo... he rated them a solid 4/10, my mom got crispy regular tacos and she said it was a 5 or a 6 she has had better. I ordered 2 Piccadillo tacos but one bite and I was good... the flour tortillas that looked like they were home made (I was excited) were sopping wet... the meat had potatoes and what appeared to carrots in them.... They were not exciting or worth while. I did not eat them.

Service was good and prices were fair. They also serve pretty large portions of food.

This was the fat separated from meat. Still had more to take.

The convenience of the drive through made us decide to swing by. The kids said their bacon and eggs were great but the order of a 1lb of barbacoa was such a disappointment. More than half of it was pure fat and uneatable. They also forgot a taco in our order. Drive through is not convenient after all... Sad sad day.

Visiting a friend in this side of town and decided to sit down for a bite to eat. Good food at a reasonable price! And covid measures were in place as well. Kuddos! My server Estefany was great as well.

Great service and potions. Everything was delicious and came out quickly. Lots of things on the menu.

Chicharron egg and thick bacon $2.10, heaven.

One of today's specials, poblano beef fajitas with a white yellow cheese sauce and mushrooms with drink $7.39. The portion was huge. Just like my dictate about never getting a one or two meat plate at the barbecue restaurant and by the meat by the pound, never get the two Taco special because it's the same price as the scattered meat on the plate, and they tend to overfill it and they give you the tortillas anyway. The fairly spicy poblano infused queso was absolutely delicious and creamy. The fajitas came with onions and surprisingly mushrooms along with some beautiful beef fajita. It wasn't exactly what I would call fork tender but it wasn't gristly. The same plate for this size portion would be about $13.99 at the Cafe in New Braunfels. The beans were very creamy and had a great bacon flavor. The rice was Bland but was very moist and flavored well with the salsa from the chips. The thin strips of poblano pepper or cooked very well although had some texture and not mushy. Service was second to none.

Amazing! We had the Molcajete Chicken fajita, beef fajita & shrimp (mix). Seriously? This is suppose to be for one? Two can definely share as it comes with a side of some very tasty Charro beans, Spanish rice, pick de gallo, guacamole and tortillas. Delicious!

It's a hole in the wall, but friendlier service would be hard to find. The food is equal to or better than many pricier restaurants.

He was playing do a wrangled up my wife, Maria and we went. This place is a bit hidden, by the walls that cover the seating area, outdoors. They have an indoor bar, very welcoming staff. Full bar, liquor and beer. Nice indoor area, cool inside. Very open area, and very clean. Great atmosphere. We sat outside to watch Mark Berry play. They have a trailer for a stage, very country, lol. No hay bales to sit on, so it's not too country. Plenty of seating, picnic tables, outdoor bar. You can sit on the patio, or out over the grass. They have two ramps to get up to the indoor bar, good lighting for the stairs. The bathrooms are clean, four rooms, one is a family bathroom and the other three have unisex bathroom signs. We will definitely go here again. A decent beer selection. And I got to smoke a cigar outside. I brought my own.

It has a great atmosphere that immediately makes you feel welcome. One of our favorite nights to go is Thursday, when they offer a charcuterie board and two glasses of wine special, perfect for a casual evening out. The selection is well done and pairs nicely with their drinks. What really sets this place apart, though, are the people. The bartenders are fantastic, and the owner and his partner are incredibly friendly and outgoing. They genuinely make you feel like a regular, even if it's your first visit. If you're looking for a laid-back spot with great drinks, friendly faces, and a welcoming vibe, Schertz Creek Bier Garten is hard to beat.

At first glance , I thought the restaurant was absolutely adorable, i love that they repurposed an old home , and they kept a lot of really neat vintage pieces and a look as far as atmosphere goes. I felt it was very welcoming. I also love the fact that you could see the cooks in the kitchen. The service was really great.I don't believe we had an empty glass or ever had to ask for a refill on our drinks. Now for the food! When I tell you it is probably one of the best meals I've had in a while.I am not lying. My chicken was cooked to perfection. The flavor of my dish was absolutely delicious and comforting. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, i don't remember the last time I wanted more cooked carrots on my plate! My friends that join me , really had nothing but great things to say about it. Everybody agreed I picked well! We ordered seared scallops wrapped in bacon for the table, my scallop was so good.I almost didn't want to share. One of my friends also got their crusted fish (not pictured) and the brazed beef dish, ( also not pictured) I would one 100% go again as well as refer this restaurant to anybody who really wanted delicious food.

We then shared the humongous pork chop, which was excellent and it came with scalloped potatoes, carrots, and miniature potatoes. (Yes, two potato dishes together.) I'd rate the whole thing five stars, but for one thing. Ever since COVID, many restaurants have been presenting their menu via a CR code and an Internet link. Some also offer conventional menus, but Kindling is hard core. No paper menus. (Although they will supply a tablet.) My wife absolutely hates this and has drawn a line in the sand. She says we are not going back, and everyone knows "unhappy wife, lousy life. So Kindling, it has been great. Please relent on this menu policy so I can again experience your great cuisine and ambience. You may never know how many oldsters you are losing due to your policy.
