Round one was a morning Tee time and although it was a good time we were rushed and the group behind us were constantly hitting up on us...total poor form. It seems as though this time of the day is fully packed as most are trying to beat the heat. This took some of the pleasure out of it. But, all in all an outstanding round of golf. However, for our second round a few days later we decided on an afternoon tee time. This round was much more enjoyable as the course was almost totally vacant. For this round my son and I were able to play a slow pleasurably and leisurely 18 holes. This round was totally enjoyable. The course is well maintained, nicely groomed and a joy to play. Plenty snack/beverage snacks strategically placed to meet all your hydration and munchie needs. An occasional gator on the bank of a water hazard was our only concern. The staff from check in, to launch, to the concession stands, through cart turn in were all extremely polite and helpful. Zero complaints. I'll totally play it again in my next stay...maybe I'll avoid the club rental fee by bringing my own clubs....

It's a challenging track (certainly championship level) but fun despite the difficulty. With no one ahead of me or behind me, I played lightning quick despite a few list balls (okay more than a few!). It was super convenient that the course will send a cab to pick you up at your hotel for free (well, bundled into greens fee I suppose). I'd love to play it again!

We brought our clubs, and afterward he cleaned our clubs and stored them while we ate lunch. The lunch was very good, sandwiches with two salads. I had the chicken wrap. It was delicious. Hubs had the skirt steak sandwich. It came on a lot of bread. He ate just the steak that wasn't much, and the French fries that came with the sandwiches were good. There is a full bar. Other drinks included a couple of Mexican beers and soda pops. Everything was clean and well kept. The morning hours were busy. At 11 a.m. the course was less crowded, and we finished 18 holes easily. The course is flat with a few water features.

There are a couple of crocodiles along the course, close to the fairways and walkways - they seem well fed - leave them alone and they will leave you alone. The club is small but they are attentive and you can get a decent breakfast or lunch. We arrived 10 minutes late due to a misunderstanding of the tee time and they did fit the 2 of us about 30 minutes later. Unfortunately we got stuck after 2 groups of 4 and that first group was super slow. The second group just in front of us apologized even though they too were waiting. The staff apologized. They should have had us skip ahead but did not. But after 9 holes, we totally gave up. We rented golf clubs and it as an assortment and not the best.

They claimed I broke a club that I never used and would not let me leave until I paid for it. We warned other guests and the golf club tried to do the same thing to them but due to our warnings they had pictures as proof. Absolutely awful scam they run on guests.

The second time the cart died we had to wait almost 25 minutes for another cart to arrive. For that amount of money, I would have expected better service and real sand traps. Puerto Cancun is a new shopping center north of the hotel zone. We finally got there only to be disappointed by a partially occupied mall. There is no bus stop across from the mall to take a bus back to the hotel zone, you have to walk down the road about a mile. The mall also looks much bigger than it is because behind some of the walls there is a huge parking garage. Update: Yesterday we were told that there is a bus stop out by the main road but today we drove past the exit of the mall and there is the indentation of the curbing usually used by the buses as a bus stop but it is not marked as a bus stop with the appropriate "B" signage. The buses are not stopping and are driving right into downtown Cancun. So if you decide that you want to go to this mall you should take a taxi unless you plan on walking a long distance to and from the closest bus stops.

But never have I ever seen anyone so hard in such hot weather and be grateful to meet, greet, serve so many people and still put a smile on his face. If we went the beginning of our trip, I don't doubt we would have been there every single day because of him! The Spa - CESAR! Sofia and Sara are the people you need to cross paths. Cesar is the one who got us in. Never did he rush us, he wanted us to enjoy our time at the pool and he circled back with kindness. And that's the only reason why we committed to the spa! Sofia and Sara were our people at the Spa, and boy did they put in work! I felt so relaxed and decompressed at the end of our trip because of them!!! Tradewinds - Araceli, the one who made our last day special. I told her it was our last day, and she brought the whole staff to sing and had us wear a big sombrero! It was so heartwarming and it made my heart sink, and did not make me want to leave!! The French restaurant is also a must! Loved the potato leek soup and the lamb rack. The Italian restaurant had amazing cheese mushroom pizza! I've been to Hyatt Los Cabo's, and the one thing Cancun didn't have was to go boxes due to regulations. The dolphins are such a cute thing to wake up to and was such a nice thing to do for family and people! We stayed at the Turquoise building. Loved the bath outside the room! It was my birthday, and my boyfriend and the staff really made it beyond special. From roses to balloons, to cards, to the simplest reminder of all them knowing it was my birthday and wishing me the best. You will hear a lot of, welcome family or hi family. And by the end of the trip, you will really feel that they really did become your family. 100/100 recommend this place!!!

I visited this lovely resort for my cousin's wedding and had a ball. This resort sits right on the…read morebeach and even has a dolphin encounter right on the premises. There are several restaurants with different cuisines and lots of fun activities throughout the day. The staff is so kind and accommodating, and my suite was beautiful. There are several different activities every day to meet everyone everyone's need from kids to adults. This place is ADA friendly and has a lot of water activities to choose from.
