Amazing enchiladas vallartas; generous portions; super tasty guacamole; would definitely eat here again!

I ordered a chicken fajita salad which is apparently not on the menu. The cooks put together a wonderful salad with lots of chicken and some vegetables, far more than lettuce. It was ready within 10 minutes. Warm chips and a generous helping of salsa were included. I was very happy and would gladly order from them again. read more

Food was ok depending on what you had. Mine was ok but my parents both said their food was cold. Dad did not like the taste. Both said they couldn't taste the tequila in the margaritas. Traveling through Mitchell, SD, we happened upon this wonderful restaurant for one of the best meals of our trip. The food was all prepared perfectly from the table side guacamole to some of the best tacos ever. The cocktails were wonderful and all portions were generous. Our server, Benny was amazing and the entire service was great. I couldn't believe we got such a perfect meal with great cocktails at a very reasonable price. Fantastic food! The guacamole was fresh and so tasty even if I wished for more spice (I'll just ask for extra next time). The queso appetizer was awesome and I could have eaten it as my whole meal and been a happy camper. I had shrimp tacos that had lots of very fresh shrimp that has a great grilled flavor and it came with a delightfully spicy salsa and plenty of lime. Portions are huge, restaurant is super clean and very inviting, and the staff are super friendly. Definitely recommend. read more

A star for beautiful building, clean and plenty of front of house staff. However the food was really disappointing, unpleasant chip flavor. It's hard to mess up the basics, If the salsa and beans and rice are bad, I should have expected the chicken chimmy would be too. It was. Tough, dry chicken and a soggy mushy shell. A nice newly done restaurant that is clean, modern with a great wait staff. Seating is ample and there was no wait for service. The chips and salsa were good, and the guacamole cart is a nice touch - although comes as an up charge. The drink menu has a wide variety and the margaritas are huge. Unfortunately. the mixology need work as it was 50/50 on the beverages with two of the four drinks slightly burned. The food menu was also vast and the food came out fairly quickly. Two of the four meals had to be returned as they were ordered sans onions and came with plenty of it. All the meals ordered had sizable portions. Flavor of everything was somewhat lack luster. My Carne Asada was bland and a little anemic looking. My wife that the beef fajitas but was underwhelmed with the flavor. The other couple both had beef walking tacos and also commented on the disappointing lack of true Mexican flavor. I still recommend this place as it is a fairly new restaurant and they are probably still working the kinks out. They have a great ambiance and plenty of staff so I'm not writing them off just yet.
