Out of four food catering events, everything was either sour or bad twice. One time, I had a family emergency, and they refused to cancel the catering 72 hours in advance. The manager on call was miserable and disrespectful. Also, note that this location, being close to the beaches, loses power all the time; it's not even funny. I understand that they couldn't control power outages, which is fine. But on July 3, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., there was one of many power outages at this location in Brick. The way this manager, on the supermarket side (not the liquor store), was talking to customers waiting in the store while the power went out with food in their carts was appalling. Not one person was acting out; everyone was waiting by the registers for the power to come back to check out. This manager on call, again, was the most nasty person. I got so pissed at this point; it was so unnecessary how this guy was talking to all the customers. I swear I will never visit this location again and will tell everyone I speak with to avoid this location at all costs. They need to clean house with their managers; half of them are the worst.

The business owner then told my fiance that the wedding coordinator told her to have my fiance call the town for a permit, which this is a blatant lie because my wedding coordinator called me with concerns as a vendor typically will deal with parking. They asked if me and my fiance can help during our wedding to guide them in or assist with parking and if they couldn't find parking it would eat into our paid time. We have other vendors where this is not a problem. The location was discussed when it was agreed upon. If I could give zero stars I would because my wedding is this week.
