Price was reasonable and the tiny market had so much goodies including polish beers that you can purchase and drink there. I've already told my friends about this place and I'll definitely be back. This place is AMAZING! When you walk in it's like going to Poland. They have a deli as well as a selection of imported food from Poland and also Polish pottery and decor. It's really charming inside. They have a great menu and the prices are incredibly reasonable. I just had a sub sandwich but my husband got the sampler platter which is a great way to try a variety of Polish dishes whether you are familiar or unfamiliar with Polish food. Our food come quickly and I really enjoyed the pickle spear that also came with my sub. It wasn't as briny as American pickles and slightly sweet. My sandwich was delicious and my husband ate every bite of his sampler platter. This is such a great place also for a quick bite to go. read more

We got lucky as we were second in line. Once we sat for lunch the door opened and closed many times with a heavy stream of customers. Then our Polish sampler arrived! Everything was my favorite. But I'd I had to pick 1 it would be the cabbage roll. My husband says the kielbasa AND the perogi. This is a staple for us when we visit Myrtle!! I always get the sample platter just so I can enjoy a little bit of everything. Kielbasa is full of flavor, pierogi's are tender and perfectly delicious, now the hunter cabbage stew will make you want to slap someone it's so good!!! Pulaski Deli served the best food that I had on my visit to Myrtle Beach. Oh my gosh, it was GOOD! We ordered the sampler, pierogis, and a side of sauerkraut, and I was sad when all the food was finished. Sampler: the stuffed cabbage was some of the best I ever had, the kielbasa was perfectly cooked with a crisp exterior and juicy bites, the hunters stew was new to me and so, so good (would definitely order separately next time!!), and the pierogis on the platter made me glad we ordered a separate serving of them! Pierogis: our favorite was the cheese and potato (because cheese and potato!), but the meat and sauerkraut ones where also good. The meat one was a ridge dry, but nothing that couldn't be fixed with some of the amazing sour cream that came with the order. The crispy garlic bits on the pierogis were an incredible touch! Sauerkraut: we ordered extra sauerkraut because it's hard to find vegetables in Myrtle Beach. It didn't disappoint and we enjoyed the crunch and saltiness of the fermented cabbage. We found this on Facebook as we were planning a trip to Myrtle Beach. As other reviewers have noted, the deli is tucked away on the side of the strip mall. My wife is Polish and I lived in Poland for two years. This was some of the best Polish food we have had in the south. The golabki were good although not like we are used to in the northeastern part of Poland. The bigos were excellent. The kielbasa was also very good. The pierogi were good and the sour cream on the side was a nice touch. The market was small but well-stocked. We could only buy non-perishables. So did not buy any of the cakes, meats, and frozen foods. We did get some bottled drinks (kubus and tymbark), sweets, halva, etc. The owners and staff were very friendly and we had a great conversation. This is a must stop in Myrtle Beach!! read more

The deli offers subs and hot foods along with fresh deli meats and a small polish mini mart of items from seasonings to breads and frozen items. I splurged on a sampler platter to try the pierogi, keilboasa and stuffed cabbage (which we call pigs-n-a-blanket) Fantastic!!!! Homemade, fresh, uhhh....it was just as desired. I know, I know, one doesn't naturally pair Polish food and a trip to the beach. True enough. But I'd needed a little break from seafood, so I sought out this little gem. Well, that was one reason, but I admit my ulterior motive was checking out their small grocery area for pantry items I can't find in the flyover states...all in all, my visit was a win on both counts. I found more than a couple of things I had to have - pickles and other pickled veg, especially. I also got some dairy items. Also available were a variety of commercial pierogi, sweets, a small selection of baked goods, Maggi (and other) mixes, jarred sour cherries, dried fish, and farmer's cheeses. Plus the deli offerings - several kinds of kielbasa, dried sausage, bologna (no, not Wonderbread-mayo-bologna, but real bologna), and other nommy things. They have a lot of special (potentially seasonal?) offerings, like half sours and such - while all items may not be available at all times (the half sours I was craving, for example, were not), make sure to check out the handwritten signs in the grocery area to make sure you don't miss out! The pierogi were fabulous - scratch made, both filling and dough, and served well (sometimes they can feel greasy or get gummy - these didn't) with a sprinkle of yummy crispy onion on top. Their cabbage roll and the hunter's cabbage stew were both catch-me-off-guard good, stick-to-your-ribs flavorful and clearly made with pride and love. Sauerkraut and kielbasa was tasty - they split and score their kielbasa, which makes more of a flavor difference than one might think. Perfect comfort food with great portions for a fair price. I got my order for takeaway and went back to the beach to eat, but there are several tables in a clean, comfortable deli dining area that is stocked with Polish-history / travel related books and memorabilia. Note: it's around the side of the small strip mall at this location, not exactly visible from Kings Highway. Plan ahead if you want dinner, as they close fairly early. Spent 34$. ETA: Went back for the eighth time yesterday (9/21/17) after a long car drive and got some favorites to take back to the condo. Still friendly, still tasty. Fairly consistent through all visits subsequent to my initial one, food and portion-wise. I think they may be trying to cut back fat/salt-wise on prepared foods - which is a good thing overall and makes it easier to make this a regular stop, not an indulgence, just saying. Yesterday's cabbage roll didn't seem to have any sauce, but perhaps it was a clamshell problem. read more

Surfside Beach was our destination to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. Whenever we travel, we look for hole-in-the-wall places to eat where you will find a grandma cooking in the kitchen. At Pulaski, if you order from their hot food menu, it will be food that a grandma made. And let me tell you, as a native from Chicago growing up eating the best pierogi's in Humboldt Park at this polish diner on California and Haddon, the pierogi's at Pulaski almost made me cry as it took me back. I have always favored the potato and cheese pierogi. These are the real deal! Their meat filled subs are just as good and super affordable- $6.95 with a pickle. I need to return and try their sampler plate. Gosh it looked good too! There is also a grocery section and its mostly items I have seen at the Polish corner store in Chicago. Came here from the beach just to try the Hunter's Stew. Walking in the door, it smelled amazing. They had all the favorites from the mother country, but I was between lunch and dinner so I just ordered the stew to taste it. I haven't had this stuff made by anybody but me since I lived in Poland, and this was magical. So much flavor, and the cabbage was just right. I wish these guys were nearby where I live... I've had this place bookmarked for a LONG time, because it was the only Polish restaurant from here to Charleston that I could find. I stopped by for lunch one day while in town, and would drive two hours to come back here again. I honestly couldn't decide what to eat right away, so I went with the sample platter. The food came out within a few minutes, and I honestly would've waited many many minutes for this quality of food. The pierogies were unlike any that I've ever had before. They come with a side of sour cream that you can use to add a dollop to each bite if you so choose. The pierogies were amazing on their own, but I added a dollop here and there for that extra kick, and it was well worth it. The sampler also came with a stuffed cabbage, kielbasa, hunters stew, and sauerkraut with a pickle. I'm getting hungry just reminiscing about this plate of food.
