Unprofessional staff, poor communication, and a very frustrating experience from start to finish.

My experience with Buckeye Auto Network was so different from the experiences with other…read moredealerships. It was fantastic! I went to many dealerships for 9 months. Wasted money on a ride there and to home, when they said they would help , would approve me but want $6000 down. We could have done everything over the phone but they insisted i go in. I gave up until a friend of a friend told me about Buckeye so gave it a shot. Filled out the online application one night. The next day Mark called me and asked a few questions about my application. My credit is terrible but I was honest about it and why it is terrible. He said he would call me back. He called back in 20 minutes, I was approved. I went the next day. Only had to put $700 down and drove the car I wanted off the lot. Was only there for about an hour. Mark is great..makes you feel comfortable and is so funny. Also, my car needed back brakes. I called mark and he had me come in the next day and they were fixed. I didnt pay a thing. They give you a 12 months 12,000 miles warranty. That was an unexpected surprise. All the other small dealerships I went to either did not have a warranty or it was just for a couple months. If you are in need of a car, with not so good credit, and want to do application online or over the phone you have to give them a shot. You will not be disappointed. Thanks Buckete Auto Network and Mark for giving me a chance when no one else would!!!

The battery was bad, the outside door lock assembly is missing, the front passenger window is broken and only held together by the window tint, the AC doesn't work, the brakes and tires need replaced and a tie rod is faulty. Don't go here.

This place is going to be shocked, but I'm happy giving them a 4 star review…read more If you're shopping for a used car in Akron right about now, you are certainly getting the runaround. "Come on in! We have [exactly what you said you are looking for at exactly your price point]!" When you get there? It was always a bait and switch. The cars here at greenlight auto sales are filthy--often newly repossessed and still full of the sad belongings of the last person who attempted to purchase them--but they are priced as listed. There is no bait and switch. No credit check required-- half down and drive away today. Some people decry the traditional "buy here pay here" but they are needed by the community. This type of business is always a boon to people who could not otherwise buy a car. Demerit for fibbing about the KBB on the car I drove in, but it's not unusual for places like this to not want trade ins. I recommend always taking any used car to a trusted mechanic before purchase. My longtime (now dead) companion started off selling cars out of his parent's driveway. He always represented himself in court. "Your Honor... I'm a used car dealer!" was basically always his (usually successful) defense. Caveat Emptor-- yeah this is a real Four Star review. Ooh! The funny stuff! Low pressure goes to high annoyance after looking at a few cars. "Why should I!?? You have no money!" But the hilarious part was the way that the guy kept telling us how much his French Bulldogs (" like CELEBRITIES have") cost. LOL LOL For what this place is, it's really good. Don't be afraid to walk away. Keep checking back until they have what you want.
