Over the past few years I have purchased several cars from Wadsworth Motor Cars. I have been…read moreextremely happy with the value, service, the vehicles, the WMC team; happy with everything with respect to my car buying and ongoing service experience. I would highly recommend WMC. I've worked with salesman Nick Fleming in most cases, but you will receive outstanding and respectful service from anyone on the team. They are all approachable, flexible, kind, open-minded and willing to work with you. They listen to their customers and do not apply sales pressure. (there is no need, because they are so good!) Obviously, the vehicles are always priced right, (fairly) that's why I continue to go back and will continue to do so. On May 2, 2020 I picked up a 2019 Chevy Colorado and I absolutely love it. Nick has stayed in touch with me to make sure I'm happy with everything and, of course I am! Mutual respect, trust and honesty are important characteristics in a relationship. The WMC team clearly exhibits all of these characteristics and more!

From the moment I contacted them about the vehicle to the moment I arrived to test drive Nick was super helpful. I requested some pictures of the suspension since I saw some aftermarket modifications and without one complaint Nick had gotten me all the photos requested. Every dealer I had inquired here in Chicago had ridiculous dealer fees, lot fees, etc and the asking price was already more than a grand more than what Wadsworth motors was asking. This was honestly my first car purchase from a dealer that didn't leave me feeling like I was scammed. Absolutely no buyers remorse and the best part is I didn't even have to haggle. I paid their full asking price. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a car in the area. My wife and I were even talking about wanting to make future purchases from them despite the distance!

they were extremely helpful with the purchase of a used vehicle. as soon as paperwork was signed…read morethey completely ignored me. their attitude towards me changed. before even driving off of the lot the onstar module stopped working. the myCadillac app wouldn't connect and the car said it couldn't communicate with onstar. I told this to my sales guy 3 times before leaving the lot and he just said "okay." didn't take me down to service or anything. okay well as soon as o I got on the road the plastic trim near the steering wheel popped out and it scrapes when turning. super annoying. then the 2nd time I hit the trunk release button it broke. when I returned to the service department two days later they were happy to help and the sales department agreed to pay for the repairs (as they should) but now my sales guy is not even acknowledging me nor is anyone really giving giving me any respect. it's like they're annoyed that I'm holding them accountable. total failure of vandevere to hope to have any customer retention. its only been my dream car for 5 years now, and I've always heard that Cadillac treats their customers well. As far as vandevere goes, that's completely false.

I am writing this review to inform future customers who may be considering this dealership for a…read morevehicle trade-in. I received a trade-in offer through CarGurus that I was satisfied with. When the dealership contacted me, I made it explicitly clear that I would only proceed if the trade-in value matched the original offer. I was assured multiple times via text that the number was fair and could be honored, pending inspection of the vehicle. That condition was completely reasonable. I arrived at the dealership fully prepared to complete the transaction at the agreed-upon value. The vehicle was accurately represented in my trade description and passed inspection as described. Despite this, the dealership significantly lowered the offer once I was on-site. I was told that online estimators sometimes struggle to reflect true market value, and I was shown Kelley Blue Book figures as justification. If the dealership had concerns about honoring the initial offer, that should have been communicated before I made the trip -- not after I arrived expecting the agreed-upon number. This experience reflects a classic bait-and-switch tactic. Transparency and integrity are fundamental in business, especially when customers make decisions based on written confirmations. Had the dealership been upfront from the beginning, this situation could have been avoided. I encourage future customers to get firm, written confirmation of all numbers and to approach trade-in negotiations here with caution. This type of practice is disappointing and unacceptable in today's marketplace.

I understand lemon law when ya buy as is but it also states if things were not disclosed it still applies. The shop it was taken to showed me where the flex pipe was cut to repair the transfer casing then they obviously decided not to. They didn't even have the decency to respond back and make an effort to give me an excuse which to me is more insulting then selling me something you knew had issues without disclosing them. If you purchase here take it to a mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection don't trust anything they tell you. They don't care shit about their customers literally just out to make a dollar. He did a visual inspection and test drive it and it seemed fine. It was getting dark and close to closing time so he didn't inspect underneath. Later that same night it came to his attention that the frame was rusted and rotted away in multiple locations. The frame rail was cracked in half. The shocks were just hanging because the mounts were completely gone. the wheel wells were rotted away. Went back to the dealership the next day and Alex the owner acknowledged the damage and claimed to have a "guy" who could fix the frame and he even offered to pay for repairs. He handed my boyfriend his business card with the contact information of the repair guy. Later that day he tried calling this repair guy and left messages and never got a response. Sent Alex a text the next day and he ignored his message also. Currently we are starting the legal process to try and get our $5000 back. It's a shame this place is still in business. They have been ripping people off for years. Just don't. No matter how desperate you are. Don't. You've been warned. Oh and let's not forget the 15 or so times they have been sued in court since 2019!
