Everything is so cheap and outdated. It was small with barely anything to eat or accommodations. I know it's a small area, but still it could be more aesthetically pleasing. People are just allowed to smoke by the door, which was a real turn off while trying to wait for our ride to pick us up. Also, the guy at the Budget rental car counter doesnt even go outside. He just vapes at his desk, not giving a crap. like wth!? Can you say COUNTRY BUMPKIN!? Most all airports have a designated smoking area away from the main doors. PUW needs to GET WITH IT! The perk is you can walk in like 10 mins before the flight and board. However, no food, and the vending machines are broken most of the time. The staff of the airport was non existent and had all of two TSA agents. The staff has been here all the years I have been flying here and they are rude and cold. ZERO customer service. I only fly here for one reason, CONVENIENCE! Otherwise, I would not. They often have a house cat running around which is inconsiderate considering some people have CAT ALLERGIES! Oh well, I guess. It really needs a major remodel. There was even a book sales counter that worked on the honesty system. What is This? 1995? You could see nothing but hills and plains outside. Also, winter flights are often cancelled and delayed due to no tower, but they are in the process of building a tower so hopefully that will all change and become more efficient, but don't hold your breath. lol. Also, the restrooms were dirty as well. It did the job for us and got us where we needed to go, but I think next time I may just take a cheaper flight into Spokane and do the drive down to Pullman. I recommend this airport if it's an absolute necessity for you.

Stayed here many times before, some rooms and have been better than others, as we have something to compare staying multiple times over many, many years. We love this location (5-stars!) and parking (5-stars!), and I remember their sheets from Costco (5-stars!) and a/c that works (5-stars!)! I only make multiple reservations on places we like. There's also areas here that need improvement, such as the late-check-in process (1-star) on one visit the front desk messaged us about their front closes after 9pm and this motel would not allow check-in and one trip we were in traffic on 5+ hour drive to Pullman and I had a panic attack on the phone with them, as I was told we could not check-in if we arrived late, which made us panic the entire drive (1-star experience!) but they were lovely and allowed us to check-in upon our later arrival (yeah!), but the experience was really terrible as we were super stressed! Or how the room on the 2nd level behind the office the arrangement of the single queen bed and TV was a bit funky (3-star for decor/vibe), but not a big deal as we don't stay in our rooms in Pullman except to sleep & shower. By 6pm we were overwhelmingly exhausted! We were ready to relax rather than make the 5-hour journey back home in the dark. My friend had canceled her reservation for Saturday to Sunday, and suggested I call directly to the motel, as every hotel and motel in a 20-mile radius was booked!No availability was showing online, and in order to get her spot she'd suggested I call Cougar Land Motel directly. Called Cougar Land and explained about her cancellation and could we take it? Yes it's available, cost is $350, yes, we will take it! Expensive? Yes, but worth the convenience of being able to walk to campus (5-stars!) to spend time with our eldest Coug and relax vs driving home in the dark is worth the $350! The woman answering the phone asked if I'd stayed there before? Yes, many times! She then tells me I left a horrible review (!) and why would I want to stay again? I was baffled. My husband and I looked at each other, as the call was on speaker. Did I leave a bad review? I was too exhausted to think/respond, and she was adamant I wouldn't be welcome again! As soon as she hung up on me, I quickly went through Yelp. What did I write that was so offensive I was denied a return visit? I noticed zero reviews from me for Cougar Land Motel! I did not delete any and I was curious what I'd written to cause her to deny us! As a Yelp Elite member I follow rules and community standards. My husband wondered why she didn't say, "Hey I noticed you gave a poor review, here's the changes we've made and we are thrilled you're coming back to experience a better outcome!" We discussed this on our 5-hour drive home in the dark, as mentioned, we were really looking forward to staying at a local hotel we'd stayed at for years! Pullman is a lovely small-town with a tight community. My family of Coug alumni frequently travels back to Pullman (aka. Returns "home") and this experience reminded us about how wonderful the Coug Community is, but to be super careful about offering feedback/reviews as you might not have a place to stay when you visit.

This is one of the cheapest ways to get from the Spokane Airport to Pullman if you don't have a…read morecar. They are very helpful. When my plane was half an hour late they waited for me. Their drivers are polite and professional. Their mini buses are comfortable. The only reason I'm not giving them five stars is because they only run this shuttle once a day in each direction, except on Fridays when they run it twice. It is a bit annoying to have to plan your flight around a once a day shuttle. They also run a shuttle between WSU and UI that is free for students, and that service is pretty good. Make sure you know where the bus stop is though, particularly in Moscow. The stops can be difficult to find and the signage is sometimes confusing. They also run special buses to Seattle for holidays. I have not used those services because the times never seem to be convenient, particularly for the return bus to Pullman. Also they only sell those tickets as a round trip.

We were unable to use them the next time we needed a cab as they were on other calls, but were very clear about that. I guess we had an atypical experience based on the other posts. We found them very friendly.

They were late to the stop where I got on the bus, and got further and further behind schedule as they went. When they got to the second to last stop in Spokane, the bus waited there for a long time to try to deal with transferring a lost suitcase between buses. The driver of the bus I was on was waiting for another driver to show up, and we only later found out that she had been there the whole time, but had been sleeping in the back of her bus. The long wait could have been avoided. The driver was really nice and apologetic about the wait, and I wasn't in a hurry so I told him it was ok, but this is no was to run a bus company.
