First of all, DO NOT GO HERE! For context, I lived on the East Coast for 35 years and NEVER experienced the level of unprofessionalism at doctors offices that I've experienced since I moved back here to Las Vegas. My experience was pretty much the same as other reviewers. Specifically, rude and unhelpful office staff. Also, the doctor was okay but not worth putting up with the despicable treatment from the front office staff to waste my time coming back to see. I had been to the office once and had gotten there early. At my second appointment, I arrived seven minutes late. I had been caught up in traffic with heavy roadwork. I was not intentionally late and had given myself the normal amount of extra time to get there. It was not my fault but I was treated like it was. When the girl at the desk informed me of the late arrival policy and she turned me away, I was shocked, as she pointed to a notice which was taped on the glass separating me from her. It said something to the effect of... late arrivals will not be seen. I informed her that I had not seen that notice when I was at my last appointment and that there was nothing on the website specifying any such policy. She just looked at me with a blank stare. I left there FUMING, swearing to never go back. Then a month or so later, to my utter amazement, I received a bill for the appointment I was turned away from. I then called my insurance company and reported these people and was assured that they were not about to pay for an appointment that I showed up for and was then denied. So, remember to always inform your insurance company if a doctors office tries to pull a fast one on you like these guys did to me. This is the worst business I've ever dealt with. These people obviously don't know how to run a business and should not BE in business. I've got some serious issues going on between my heart and lungs and I can't afford to be jerked around. Fortunately, my kids live in L.A. so I've decided to see specialists in that area. It's a slight hassle but well worth it to get the level of care that I can't seem to find here which actually also includes COMMUNICATING with the doctors office. THis medical office is NOT reliable, we tried several times to call, waited almost 2 hours, no answer and can't leave a message @ Cathedral Rock, same as all locations. THis provider is S- - T, I don't know why Humana selected them ! They are NO GOOD uncaring, no empathy to their patience, I dropped them once but NO Choice, since they're in the Humana loop, besides their doctors are questionable. This is probably the most unprofessional, unorganized medical office I have ever encountered. Try calling, good luck! For 3 days in a row I was on hold for well over 45 minutes, no answer. Decided ok I will leave a voice mail, voice mail FULL so now lost my place in line. FINALLY today after 1.5 hours on hold I spoke to the person who answered and I think I woke her up. Really did not care about what I was saying. After all that, the Dr did not put in the order so now she will send a message to a nurse and will hopefully hear back in 72 hours. Their turnover is amazingly high. Authorizations from your insurance company take months to accomplish. They cancel appointments, made months in advance, with little or no care to how you have adjusted your work schedule. Calling on the phone is a JOKE! Don't even try. You wait for 30+ minutes then someone jumps on and says, "may I put you on a brief hold?', never waits for a response, puts you back on hold, and then never returns. Well, I truly don't know about NEVER, but after 58 minutes of hold I had enough. And reading the reviews I must assume they are NOT going to get better. read more

The doctor's I saw were great, the office staff was great. However, my experience with calling their office has been extremely frustating. I have a 50% chance of getting an adult that pulls up my file and sincerely has a conversation and tries to help, and a 50% chance of getting what I can only presume is a teenage girl that says 5 words that don't make sense and then redirects my call. read more

Although there are some good reviews, there are way too many bad for me to me an appointment here! There's nothing worse that rude and uncooperative office staff! I left 2 good drs due to office staff when the dr refused to do anything about it. These doctors weren't going to speak to them about it either! They choose their word over mine, of course. And I can't be the first person at either office to complain about this. Its just not worth our mood and our day not to mention, having to be so apprehensive to go in when our appointment arrives. This rating is based on the lack of competency of scheduling staff. I was transferred 3 times between New Patient & Existing Patient lines. Both abruptly before you could even get a comment in. On the 4th attempted transfer, I objected strongly so the scheduler said she would get a 'supervisor'. But not....transferred again to 'existing patient' scheduler and all of sudden she was able to make an appointment. Please train your staff! read more

To Pulmonary Associates and who ever uses there Medical junk services,, this is the worst medical business in Las Vegas,Nv. ,, I was discharged from the hospital on July 2, 2025 and was referred to there office for treatment,, I called they told me they needed a letter from the Doctor before I could be seen,, there Doctors came to my room while I was admitted,,Pulmonary Associates examined me at bedside,,once discharged ,, the referal was in the discharge paper work,,,tried several times calling and speaking to the front office personnel,,they are still in training,,they finally after over 3 weeks I was able to get a date and time july 30th at 8:45,, the day before they called and said we have to changed your appointment time,, for 3 hours later,, I told her that I can't be there because I have another appointment at 11:00am,, no way,, I been waiting for almost a month for this appointment which should of been at the latest one week after discharge from hospital,,so they switch me to the business office and said the Manager Ruth will be calling you back,, no one ever called me back,, so this office has a history of pissing patients off about the times and dates and waiting for over an hour,, in waiting room,,looked at the reviews and they get 2.0 stars that is a good sign you should run run away from this Doctors office,, they care nothing about your medical issues,, does the Doctor know how they treat people at the front desk and trying to make appointments with Life Threatening illness,, where time is very important,, please find a different Pulmonologist,,don't waste your time here,, trust me office staff are the worst I have ever seen,, I have a server illness that should of been addressed within the week of Discharge ,,they had the nerve to send me a no show and late show disclosure saying if you are late or don't show you owe us money,,because we are concerned about our other patients needing treatment,,WOW WOW WOW,, they moved my appointment to accommodate one there other established patients ,, so I hope that worked out for the other patient,, because they screwed me to make them happy,,,IM DONE read more

Don't waste your time with this company as a whole. Took me 4 months to get in for a breathing test and then the morning of my appointment when I was 5 minutes away they call and say they have to cancel. Next available appointment? 3 months additionally out. Their front office staff are horribly incapable and the doctors act like they honestly don't care whether you're there or not. Youre just a paycheck to them. If you have a choice, look for another pulmonologist. Can't be any worse than this provider. read more

Dr. Orevillo is really good, shows compassion and interest in his patient. His staff is another thing as far as follow up, answering calls etc. If you call the office, fully expect to wait on hold an average of 24 minutes before getting helped. I called 7 times, i in office visit, 2 emails to 2 different areas of the office, general mailbox and referral mailbox over the past 2 months, zero response, zero call back, zero follow up on their end. I'm on oxygen for the past 6 years, Dr. Orevillo states I need to be on oxygen, and they cannot seem to send the referral. Time to find a new doctor's office. read more

My mother was referred to this office and we have tried every way possible to make an appointment with no luck. No one answers the phones. We then requested an appointment online and days later no one ever contacted us to schedule. Then we literally physically showed up to the office to try to make an appointment and they said they couldn't schedule appointments in the office but they would send a note to their scheduler and he would call us back today. I have COPD. I was referred to Dr. Arthur Romero with Pulmonary Associates in April 2020. To discuss what is called the Zephryn Valve. This man treated me as if I did not matter. He had me take CT Scans, PFT, 6-minute walks, and Blood gas tests over and over again, as yet did nothing but give me one excuse after the other as to what was taking so long to have this procedure done. This went on until 01/01/2023 a total of almost 3 years of my life. I ended up in the hospital for 6 months due to his lack of concern. Dr. Romero is disgusting. I filed a grievance with my insurance company and they replaced Dr. Romero with Dr. Jerome Hruska, what a joke. I started seeing Dr. Hruska on 10/04/23 - I received the same treatment that I received from Dr. Romero, only worse. After taking the first C T Scan the first time he told me that it looked good, but he wanted me to take another one and if all goes well, I would have the Zaphryn Valve within a couple of weeks, after not hearing from him after the second CT Scan, I had to call him after many many times, before he returned my call stating I was not eligible for the Zaphyn Vale, with no excuse as to why. Why are we dealing with Pulmonary Associates, they are very unprofessional and should closed down. I would not comment them to anyone, They have no respect for human life and I would never recommend them to anyone. I wish I knew how to get a class action lawsuit going against Pulmonary Associates. This place has horrible staff, you cannot get through on the phone at all. I have been calling for an hour and repeated hold being told I am caller 1 only to get disconnected when whatever nitwit working the phones finally answers. This office also refused to give me a mask on my 1st appointment when I dropped mine and it got dirty and after me waiting months for the appointment was ready to force me to reschedule. I have never seen a more unprofessional staff in a Drs office in my life. I know Vegas has terrible medical staff overall but this place really stands out for bad staff and poor patient treatment by staff. read more

It is unfortunate that this office went from five stars to one star because it means that my daughter suffered the consequences for their lack of care. Hardly ever saw the doctor Instead, we got his assistants. My daughter was in the hospital repeatedly and in my personal opinion would've been much better off with supervision from the doctor. She suffered unnecessarily. And ultimately was unable to move past her illness. We had to ask the nurses to request the doctor to come visit while in the hospital. This is for a stage four lung cancer patient. I'm not sure what the protocol is for being in touch with your patients but waiting five days without seeing a doctor is unacceptable for me. Another problem that should not have happened is inadequate supplies to care for her plural catheter. Expecting us to take care of things that should've been done by trained professionals. She needed individual care not to be treated like one of thousands We felt like a number Like it didn't matter People making mistakes on my daughter and we did everything we could to avoid it I could go on and on with the details, but will not I would never recommend this office to anyone read more

Do not go to this office. It has been a terrible experience of proper care and communication. Appointment April 3rd for follow up and not sleeping with cpap machine. Horrible sleep! Doctor said it was time for sleep study since it was 20 years since last study. Never heard from a Sleep Study facility. Called Pulmonary Associates and said referral put in April 28th. Called Sleep study facility who informed never sent. Called Pulmonary associates again and spoke with Maria in referrals who said it was just put in today May 16th. They are incompetent and liars. Avoid this place at all cost. I just got a follow up from their office and the Dr will tell you one thing, not even put that into your patient file. He puts in whatever he feels like he can remember at that time. When I saw him he said a CT w/o contrast every 6-9 months and since I had my last one in May "23 let's meet in the middle. Since I'm sure you're maxed out of pocket let's do it in December and follow up with me in January to go over those results. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I met Dr Pring in mid October. I'm a breast cancer patient and was referred to him by my primary. He pulled my records and informed me my nodule in my lung has only been there the last couple of years. I let him know that was incorrect, it's on a X-ray from 2019 when I was 1st diagnosed.. I asked if there was anything I needed to do for my referral, he said no someone from my office will call you. I never heard from them so on the 5th of Dec I called and asked about the referral. I never heard from them. So I called back on the 14th of Dec to be told it was never sent to insurance for approval. I've chatted with the radiology office where it's supposed to have been sent to as STAT so I could get it done per Dr Pring. It's now the 21st and they still don't have my referral and I'm down to 5 days to get a CT scan. This is the most disorganized office I've ever dealt with and as a cancer patient I deal w a lot. Their incompetence is going to kill someone who's in a direr situation. Thank goodness I'm not too concerned about my nodule. 2024 time to find a new pulmonologist, one who makes sure orders for their patients go through and has office staff that aren't incompetent. Dr. Harker was my pulmonologist and my last visit. I had a major problem but I was only five minutes late I went in he was at his desk. There was not one other patient in the whole office and he absolutely refused to see me because I was only five minutes late I had drove very far to see him --but he just didn't care ,and the nurse said oh that's just his policy well he tried billing my insurance for the visit and I called and disputed it. The office staff is short an sometimes rood non - attentive don't don't answer phone call nor call back I have severe asthma and just need 1 shot that takes a sec you make an appointment they put you in the back room for hours before service comes ? It's respiratory failure for me without it the front staff told me oh well we don't have time right now ? Week's at a time after my shuttle drives an hour to get there multiple times this has happened ? No pun intended but I would not recommend anyone to go to the cathedral office period it's a nightmare & horrible patient care of urgency needs even when you are already established there ! I use to go to Pulmonary Associates and so glad I changed. The doctor assigned to me had no idea of who I was or what was wrong with me, even after extensive tests. I can not recommend going. The last word out of his mouth to me was "one of these days your just not going to wake up"even after he told me I could gradually take myself off of oxygen. He'd tell me one thing one time and another the other. Changed to a different clinic and doctor who read my chart and knew what was wrong. CSR was helpful till the appt pre brief when she told me I must wear a mask to my Appt. this practice has ignored most health agencies and NV Gov. plus multiple other reviews that tell us that mask are no use to those fully Vaccinated and health. there office policies violate mine and others personal freedom to choose weather to wear a mask or no mask! so in turn I will not go to this practice and leave a negative review over there office policies read more

Seems like they may have their untrained relatives working there to save a penny..... what doctor/s would allow such staff indifference to referred patients??? Go to anyone else. Awful awful awful. Have been trying to dispute a claim all year. Everyone I've spoken with, including the doctor, has acknowledged the legitimacy of our dispute, and then tells us to await a call from the claims manager, who never calls us back. We can never actually get this phantom person(s) on the phone. All they do is keep sending us bills every month, which we keep following up with phone calls, which continually get us nowhere. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Joel Orevillo Cathedral Rock location for over a year, I have seen many Doctors in my lifetime but none like Dr. O (as I call him). A more caring & considerate Doctor I have never met. He truly cares about his patients, answers any & all questions you ask & spends as much time with you as you need. I was in the hospital January 2018 & he was called in for console & he discovered I have Pulmonary Fibrosis I have been with him ever since.
