(Closest surgeon to take my insurance). Now I am in incredible pain so I am going to write this right now so surgeons and staff can appreciate the experience of getting out of surgery without pain meds called in or filled. I had no idea their system was down until around 10:30am, four hours after checking in, when the thick sweat of agony began forming at my hairline. My driver took me 45 min to my local pharmacy. It wasn't called in. Called the office, oh our system is down. It wasn't working yesterday either. We have a paper copy for you to pick up. So after major surgery, this acquaintance is supposed to drive me right back and do another 90 min trip because it just occurred to the office scripts were not getting transmitted to pharmacies. Well, we hope it will be fixed by tomorrow. Have you ever recovered from surgery without meds? Sleeping with no meds after surgery? I am sorry to say this is the third time and for the exact same reason: it was forgotten. Different doctors but this appears to be a reoccurring problem for this profession. I make my kids do their homework the night before. I make sure the bag packs are by the door in the morning. Get my gist? I can't sleep and can't eat in this much pain. I am also a single mom of 3. My parents are boomers so they won't help because it interferes with their Colombo reruns. I really depend on professionals to be professionals and consider my wellbeing. I am depending on you to help me through a very rough process. Right now I cannot recommend Puget Sound Orthopaedics based on the inability to ensure I don't unnecessarily suffer.

Tiffany, the nurse or medical assistant (sorry unsure again) was extremely down to earth and made it so easy to feel comfortable. Dr. Moehlman was the most real and warm doctor I've ever been to. Tara Snell got my blood on the first try. That has never happened. Within 45 mins I had my physical, lab work done, follow up appointment booked, a referral and a prescription refill. Lab work was available in MyChart within literal hours. Shoot, even the other patients in the office were friendly! The atmosphere in this place is insane, I've never had such a great experience from start to finish and felt comfortable with the whole process at any medical office, ever. Could not recommend this place more and have already spread the word. Thank you Optum!

The technician was such a sweetheart and made sure that I was comfortable. If I were to come in future, I will take my small crochet blanket. It felt cold but the technician tried by putting a towel over me. I guess I get cold so easily. I will not take points off this. The spa robes are cute. There are lockers to store your belongings. There are a lot of stairs if you must do tests upstairs but there are also elevators too. I had a good experience except for being cold. I recommend this clinic keeping warm blankets it helps a lot. But in the meantime I recommend you taking along a favorite small blanket.

So now I'm inconvenienced and angry that they can't just do it. Today Carol Milgrad called me to schedule. I answered the questions and scheduler says oh I can't schedule your appt, you need a referral from your doctor. Again, Carol Milgard called me. Frustrated being treated so horribly, now I'm just a festering ball of anger but it's in MY best interest.

I drove to Tacoma for literally a 10 minute appointment, in and out, wham bam thank you ma'am! I felt like I was getting robbed! So I started my search for a new doctor. I came across Dr. Stonesifer's office and decided to give it a whirl. He was booked up for months so I saw Marjorie Sladek instead for my first appointment. She sat down with me and I told her my concerns with my other doctor and how I felt like he didn't care about me or my condition. This woman talked with me for 40 MINUTES!!!!! She answered every single question I could come up with! After talking with her she wanted to test me for an array of things. I told her I wanted to be tested for everything under the sun, and that's what I did! I got my results back and learned so many things that my previous doctor never tested for. I am so grateful I found this place!! I now have answers to the way I have been feeling for YEARS! She is the best!! (I need 2 days a week for each injury, so I am there 4 times a week) Normally you would have one physical therapist but they were able to squeeze me in a little bit with everyone. It is a busy place for a reason. Everyone is really nice and focused on helping you achieve your goals. Yesterday I saw Preston (the owner) He was interested in how I got hurt and how to help me get better. I can tell he genuinely cares about the people who go there (both staff and customer). I originally walked in because North Harbor is close to my home but I will contue to go there because of the quality of care.
