Food was great as always but today I had the worst experience with the rude young lady taking my order. I stood there for 5 mins before she said anything to me.. she was too busy on her phone. I told her my order and then she mumbled back something about my order but I couldn't understand her cause she wouldn't speak up. I cannot leave five stars though, because the bathrooms are perennially closed to the public. As the owner of a place that serves food and beverage, I know that this is illegal. If you serve food in the state of Ohio, you MUST provide restrooms to your patrons. Ok, I was like, "Seriously? Another smoothie place?" But let me say, this is not just another smoothie place. I've had liquid planet, and it's OK, but this place is better on the smoothies front. (Haven't eaten Pulp's food yet) My daughter had the elite eight, and she raves about it. She begrudgingly shared a sip, and I agreed: amazeballs! I had the pina colada tropical smoothie, and I asked them to sub yogurt for the banana-I hate banana in my smoothies-and while the gentleman behind the counter was skeptical, he obliged. It was also delicious. The size of the smoothie, to me, seemed a pretty good deal: around $5 for a 24 oz smoothie. The place is housed in the old Starbucks, but you'd never know it. Went on 7/23/23 and felt like everything has improved from start to finish. I think I like Pulp? It seems Pulp has many many fans and I'm slowly on my way to becoming one as well...I guess. In all honesty, my hesitation is because I'm such a fan of Liquid Planet which is right down the street. Bith establishments have similar vibes but take slightly different approaches to serving up healthy and treats. The parking at this establishment is odd at best. There are 4 spots allotted for 15 minutes and one handicap spot. It's easy breezy if there's no one inside but you'll need to either find street parking or circle the block if you're going at a popular time. As for the menu, it seems pretty comprehensive and I haven't been able to make my way through even a fraction of it. The basic açaí bowl only comes with banana and granola so be prepared to pay extra if you want honey, coconut, or other fruit. Lastly, customer service has been okay here but nothing to rave about. I've been pretty solidly devoted to Liquid Planet, so it took me a while to get to Pulp. And apparently I have really been missing out. I loved the variety of smoothies. The piña colada flavor I ordered was delicious. For more than 20 ounces of smoothie, it cost only $5! You can also add a booster like vitamins or whey protein. The first booster is free and additional ones have a small cost. There's a seating area indoors and outdoors. Service was quick and friendly. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. So the store overall is good but has a very rude girl just serve me. I would give one star but it's not fair to the entire store. The girl came in to start her shift and didn't wash her hands. This is definitely a job where you need to wash your hands before you handle food products. I asked her to wash her hands and had a sarcastic eye roll and zero response. It seemed like I was inconveniencing her for asking her to do something she should already be doing. A three for the fact of the parking, you only have about 4 spots and it's on a main road. It's mostly street parking which is alright for the younger generations but some patrons are a little older and can't get to the establishment so easily when they have to walk. I've been to the Parma location before, the food was really tasty and amazing. I got a veggie wrap on a spinach wrap, with a power smoothie and a shot of weight loss pulp, it was very flavorful. There is never a long line at this location. I've been to many Pulps and it's refreshing to not have to wait. Make the haul out here, skip the line! There are a few parking spots in the front for to go orders, or a quick in and out. There is parking in the rear for longer stays. They offer Uber eats. 4 out of 5 stars because they didn't make the right (totally different color and taste than normal) smoothie my first visit and were difficult about me asking if it was correct. Second trip put my faith back into Pulp. They have outdoor seating by this awesome mural for you to enjoy your smoothie or work outside. Low foot traffic makes this place great for working, if you can put up with the sound of the smoothie blender. read more

I went in with high expectations but sadly was woefully disappointed. The place was clean and smelled of fresh fruit, and looked appealing. I ordered a Raging Berry smoothie, which was a mixture of red bull, strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. Sadly, it was not what I expected. First the price was quite steep for a large at $8. Second, it tasted like it had very little red bull inside. And finally, the texture was terrible. Imagine mixing sand or bark into the smoothie and drinking it. It was not a very pleasant experience, as I was constantly getting little chunks of wood or seeds or whatever it was caught in the back of my throat and making me gag. I am so happy we finally have Pulp on the west side! I have loved this place since my days at Kent State. The owners of this location are incredibly nice and welcoming. The smoothies here are large for their price and thick (how should be). The regular size smoothie is comparable in size to a venti coffee at Starbucks and costs $5-$5.50 depending on the one you choose. Each smoothie includes a free enhancer (other places charge for this add on). They also offer a few wraps and wheat grass shots. I hope more people check this place out! read more

Let me first by saying I love Pulp smoothies. I think they offer the best smoothies at some of the best prices. But their ordering/pickup system and service part needs to be addressed. When I was there with a friend, we place an order for some smoothies and food. When pulp is done prepping your food they sit it on the counter for you to pickup. The issue with that is you don't know if it's actually your order or someone else's. This lady took every item that was sitting on the counter even though she didn't order them. We asked the cashier, we been waiting for awhile when will are order be ready, she said your order been ready I set them on the counter. We never got the order bc someone else took our food. Pulp needs to address this. Get a ticket system and call out a number. It's really inefficient and it will be better for their business. read more

I go to pulp all the time in Avon and it's amazing. Same with Parma, I travel for work. But for some reason every time I come to this Pulp off Clifton and 117th- customer service is horrible and it takes 20 minutes to receive a smoothie. I see ordered getting made wrong, no organization and the employees don't seem to have a care or a pep in their step. I believe they are all differently owned each pulp store but I don't think I'll be visiting the one of Clifton much any more. read more

My son and I love us some fresh smoothies. I tend to get one of two things - Pulp Passion or Elite Eight and it always comes out fresh and delicious. I have also tried their Honey Mustard wraps which is very good and the Asian wrap which is just ok. For the most part - service is quick and the employees are friendly. I knocked off one star because of the parking. There are maybe 4-5 (15) minute parking spots out front but sometimes they are full and I have to either find street parking (which is also full sometimes) or circle the block a few times before a spot opens up. That can be kind of annoying when you are in a rush BUT the service and quality of the juice/food is fantastic! I hope there are plans to open more locations! read more
