Checked out this restaurant on our way from the west side to Cleveland. Upon arriving, we were a little confused if we could park in the back parking lot, but we had no issues. The inside seemed very upscale for the area. Settled at the bar for an early dinner. Had a great bartender- was very attentive. Ordered the smoked wings, pork belly, and brisket. Everything was delicious. The bartender was a great resource in choosing low sugar/low carb/carnivore menu items. I also tried a nonalcoholic beer, Brewdog Hazy AF. First time trying it and enjoyed it compared to other NA beers! That was a nice surprise. Overall, it was a very good meal in a beautiful space. A little pricey, but other than that, I really enjoyed Landmark!

The food was phenomenal. I am not a huge BBQ person so I always get the Mac and cheese with a meat and it never disappoints! I got the 50/50 sauce so it was a nice taste of spice and BBQ. The waiter did a great job as it appeared he was the only waiter there and hostess so being extremely busy, he still was quick! The restaurant also had a random football game on but they saw some of us were watching the OSU game on our phone so they turn the game on for the individuals at the restaurant. One downfall is if you want to try a sauce, they do charge you $1.50. I am not marking off a star since I should have asked in advance but if you look at the Mac and cheese photo, the one side sauce is what I wanted to try and was charged. Overall, will be back

Landmark has been on the BBQ bucket list for a while, and today, I had the chance to check it out. First, the service was prompt, and our server was very kind. We were seated quickly and had water and menus soon after. , Unlike most of the BBQ joints in the area, Landmark wasn't going for a Texas-style BBQ look. Instead, Landmark comes across as a more upscale dining establishment. You can smell the smokehouse from the back parking lot, but inside, you can hardly tell it's a BBQ joint. I'm on a quest to find the best BBQ in Cleveland, so I ordered 1/3 pound of each of the meats on the menu, along with a half slab of ribs and one chicken thigh. We also ordered a pair of side dishes: vinegar slaw and broccoli salad. First up, the sides. The slaw was a solid pairing with the smoked meat. The broccoli salad was flavorful and featured a generous amount of broccoli pieces. I tried the pork belly first. It looked delicious, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Pork belly is one of those smoked meats that can be served as an appetizer, entree, or dessert, and Landmark hit a home run with its pork belly. Pork Belly: 5 stars Next, I went to the brisket. After the pork belly drew a five-star rating, I had high expectations for the brisket. Landmark's social media accounts lured me in with their mouth-watering posts highlighting the brisket. Unfortunately, real life didn't imitate social media. The brisket I received was dry and lacked the hard-hitting flavor I expect to find in brisket. Brisket: 2 stars After the brisket, I wanted to lift my spirits so I took a bite of the chicken thighs. My faith in Landmark was restored. The chicken was well-cooked and seasoned, and with a great variety of sauces to choose from (5 of them!), I had a unique flavor in every bite. Chicken Thighs: 5 stars The pulled pork looked great. There was a noticeable smoke ring, and it also didn't disappoint. The bark was delicious, but there just wasn't enough of it. The meat itself needed more flavoring, and the Landmark sauces delivered. Pulled Pork: 4 stars I'm not a huge fan of turkey, so I'm normally not very tough when ranking a smoked version. There was a lot of flavor in the meat, but it was a bit tough to cut with a fork. Turkey: 3 stars Finally, I made my way to the ribs. I didn't purposefully save the best for last; it just worked out that way. At first glance, the ribs were gorgeous. They were well-trimmed and prepared. We eat with our eyes first, and my eyes wanted to devour all six ribs. I ate three. I wanted to eat more, but I had my fix of meat for the day. The ribs were juicy and tender. I've tried ribs and brisket and pulled pork, and sausage at different BBQ joints around Cleveland. Hands down, Landmark has the best ribs of them all. Ribs: 5 stars Overall, Landmark moves into a tie with Woodstock BBQ for the Best BBQ in Cleveland. If you haven't tried Landmark, you're missing a great meal.

Amazing bourbon selection at great prices. They also have beers, wines and some cocktails. I decided on the gin cocktail with lemon and it was very well made. The bbq was delicious, as always. Great flavor and arrived piping hot.

5 Stars - Can't Wait to Dine In! I didn't dine in this time, but while waiting for my carryout order, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming--which made a great first impression. I ordered the smash burger, and it was absolutely delicious. You can tell they care about flavor and quality. Based on this experience alone, I'm already looking forward to coming back and dining in soon. Highly recommend checking this place out!

FOOD -- I ordered the Slow Braised Pork ($22) which includes sweet potato gnocchi, fennel, crispy sage, and apple cider glaze. This was a delicious and very hearty meal. I hardly eat pork so I'm glad that I enjoyed the dish. The sweet potato gnocchi was perfectly paired with the pork. Everything in the dish just blended well together. All my friends enjoyed their food too, from the meatballs, calamari, burger with fries, ratatouille, and more. I nibbled on a few of them and loved it especially the wagyu meatballs. The food was all full of flavour. Service was nice all afternoon as the server came to check on us a few times including refilling our water glasses. MINI GOLF -- Head downstairs to play some games. You pay a fee and are then given score sheets. A friend's friend had surprisingly paid for all of us and I had no idea until the next day (for some reason I thought the mini golf was included in the lunch cost...LOL). Each golf game has a different course with some being more challenging than others. I recommend Birdietown Mini Golf and Lounge for a fun day of mini golf plus lunch. I can see myself coming back again. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 48/250 total reviews in 2026 - 889 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 24 April 2026

We have 8-10 people so they just had us split into two, which was fine. The vibe was great, felt very upscale. My group mostly got mocktails. I felt like for just juice it was definitely over priced, because I felt like I was just drinking lemonade as we were playing mini golf. We only paid to play the upstairs holes, and it was good enough for us. We did not make a reservation for dinner which we regretted, but they were able to get us two tables in the downstairs area. Not a traditional seating, it was very comfy with one side being a booth and the otherwise having two comfy lounge chairs. I ordered the chicken sandwich, which was large and delicious. The chicken was well fried and the bread was so good. The fries were good, but the aioli was 12/10, so so so good! The food did take some time to come, but they were busy and were kind enough to find a spot for us. I told the staff it was someone birthday in our group and they brought a special birthday dessert which we al tried and it was great. Their menu is worth the price and the vibe is definitely jeans and a nice shirt, or a casual dress. Perfect for date night or a birthday dinner, and I look forward to coming back. The TLDR: staff was really nice, food was great, mocktails a little expensive, and the mini golf was super fun.

Unfortunately, they couldn't put us together, but we made it work. The location has a spectacular view of Cleveland's skyline. Even with some haze, it was lovely. The food was a hit with everyone. We started with the clothesline bacon and a cinnamon roll. It was perfect for our table. The bacon was not candied as described. It was good, but not something I'd order again for the price. 5 "ok" sugared bacon. The presentation was cute and the blueberry preserves were tasty. The sliced baguette toast was way too hard (break a tooth hard). My Florentine Benedict was cooked perfect,y. I opted for the fruit instead of the potatoes. I didn't realize it would be a $4.00 add on, but it was fresh and all the fruit was perfect. Others had the chicken and waffles, with a side of blueberry sausage, a smash burger and various yummy cocktails. My pomegranate mimosa was delicious and the plump blackberry was scrumptious. The family wall of pictures was a great tribute to life, family, love and Michael T Joseph who sadly died too young. It's a wonderful place to go with friends and family. We had a table by the window in the bar area with a gorgeous view of the lake, which made for such a nice atmosphere. We started with the Crispy Brussels Sprouts with chili-maple aioli, red onions, no almonds due to my husband's allergy, and mint, along with the Cauliflower Wings served with house buffalo sauce and ranch. Both appetizers were flavorful and a great start to the meal. I ordered the Faroe Island Salmon with sweet chili glaze, wasabi mashed potatoes, and Szechuan broccoli salad, and really enjoyed the combination of flavors. My husband ordered the Chicken Grana Padano with crispy chicken cutlet, Sunday gravy, truffle sacchetti, and a lemon-arugula salad with grana and sun-dried tomatoes, which he really enjoyed. My younger son ordered the 6 oz filet mignon, while my oldest son went with the Gold Coast Burger topped with aged cheddar, peppered dry-aged bacon, crunchy malt vinegar aioli, lettuce, and Kool-Aid pickles, served with housemade fries. We were intrigued by the Kool-Aid pickles and were told they're actually marinated in Kool-Aid. For dessert, we shared the Chocolate Mousse Cake and the Creme Brulee, which were both delicious and the perfect ending to the meal. Unfortunately, my son and I both ended up with stomachaches not too long after leaving, which put a bit of a damper on the experience and why I am giving this a 4-star review. That said, the atmosphere and location were wonderful, and I'd still like to come back sometime during happy hour because their happy hour menu and pricing looked really good.

My…read morefriend and I visit our respective BottleHouse locations - she's a regular at the West Side location, I sometimes visit the East Side location. We just spontaneously attended book swap at Lakewood BottleHouse. It was my first visit to BottleHouse out West. AMBIANCE: The ambiance simultaneously caters to various guests. It's refreshing to see this at the brewery. There's a large wooden bar perfect for guys' nights. Secluded room with twinkling bottles descending from the ceiling that's ideal for celebrations. Enclosed patio for friends' get togethers. Large open space for groups and events. More dim area for intimate dates. I personally found the dim area to be too dim for my eyes. I love that one can go to this mead hall, and experience a different setting every single time. FOOD/DRINKS: BottleHouse Lakewood has a kitchen as opposed to the East Side's food partnerships/pop-ups. We didn't order food but the book swappers were raving about their fries. My friend and I were most interested in our BottleHouse favorite - mead. I tasted their sweeter meads before and loved them. I ordered Metropolis mead this time (highly recommended by the bartender). My mead was the color of bold red wine. Metropolis was described as a semi-dry black currant apple mead with spices (clove and allspice). This mead wasn't my favorite, it was too acidic, bitter, and bold. For the pour size it wasn't worth over $12. I more gravitate toward golden and light meads. While I won't be sipping on Metropolis again, I look forward to checking out other meads here. If you're also a mead fan, find the list of their four meads in red on the chalkboard at the bar. SERVICE: Service was amicable. Most service was self-initiated at the bar. Drinks and food can be ordered at the bar. Your servers will find you by the number you will be provided. I look forward to visiting this location to taste other meads. Unlike other nearby businesses, this spot is open on Sundays late into the evening. It makes it an ideal low key hangout spot for Sunday spent with friends in trendy Lakewood.
