There was a spill that lingered at the pickup counter for 10 minutes. I was one of many customers who almost fell picking up my smoothie. The customer service was awful. Wow this store is so much fun! They have just about every kind of drink and smooth combo you can think of. I love the fact they have this daily special board that has their fresh squeezed juices that day. So much yum in one place. The prices are beyond fair and the portion sizes....holy moly they don't skimp you here at all. The regular size is pretty nice for a smoothie. The drink that I picked was the Elite Eight and it is absolutely delicious! The sherbet flavor is a little bit over powering is the only draw back. We were driving through and stopped so the kids weren't eating fast food again. I didn't see any kid basic chocolate smoothie, which is what 1 kid wanted, and they made it for me. In fact the young man working made a basic chocolate and a basic chocolate and peanut butter smoothie for my kids. It was much appreciated. We got those 2 and a Strawberry Extreme. All were excellent and easy to drink through a straw(which is so important with younger kids!). We didn't order food but A LOT of people ordered wraps while we were here. It's about 5 min off highway going north but the on ramp is just north of the shop so not any less convenient than any other stop would be. I love that you can pop in and pop out here quickly for a smoothie kick. The smoothies are affordable, consistent (they are good EVERY time) and high-quality (one of my pet peeves is when self-claiming "fresh" smoothie places use everything frozen). My favorites are the Citrus Berry and the Protein Packer. If you're a fan of tart berries, the Citrus Berry will be your favorite - its so easy to love the punchy flavor. I love that you can see them using fresh fruits and vegetables as they make your smoothie, which is so appreciated. If you purchase a regular smoothie or a large smoothie it comes with a free enhancer. Now, what are these enhancers? Who really knows, but you can pick from things like Stress Relief or Vitamin Boost. A regular sized smoothie is enough to be a meal. When I have one, I'm full for a long time. Pulp also offers basic wraps like roast beef and tuna, but the smoothies are truly where its at. For days after a workout, I also enjoy the Protein Packer loaded with chocolate, peanut butter, banana & whey protein. In my opinion there aren't any good smoothie places around where I live that give you quantity and quality for the price. The kid size is a small at every other smoothie place. A medium here is like a large anywhere else! My favorite smoothie is the Soy Strawberry & Banana. A medium here is between $4.50-$5.50 depending on what you order but you get a FREE enhancer! Make sure you ask for it though or you will not get one at all. Also, their smoothies are not runny and already melted when you get them! You can't go wrong with anything you order! Pulp is a favorite place of ours for smoothies and fresh-squeezed juices. They also have a menu of wraps, sandwiches, and salads that are good -- but not really what they're known for. However, if you're crunched for time and want a bite to eat with your smoothie, you're good to go. There are about 20-25 smoothies to choose from. With each you can add in one boost for free -- for example: whey protein, fiber, vitamin boost, fat burner, hangover relief, and flu fighter, to name a few. You can also make up your own smoothie or your own mix of fruit and vegetable juices. My personal favorites are Anti-Oxiberry, Guava Burner, and the Green Tea Smoothie. And when I'm feeling brave, I'll get a couple shots of wheatgrass. As for the staff, I've almost always found them to be friendly and helpful. Although they do tend to get busy at lunchtime, and time is needed to make up each smoothie from scratch, so I can certainly excuse the occasional lack of communication. The Macedonia store is one of 15 locations around NE Ohio. It's not the easiest location to get to, located in a strip store on rt. 82 that you can only get to heading east, but it's worth the effort. read more

Pulp certainly makes a tasty smoothie, and could easily become a formidable competitor in the Robek's dominated Cleveland smoothie market with a little more business savvy. All the smoothies I've had have been delicious. Recommendations would be to cut down on the cheap costing fruit based fillers (apple juice and banana) and to delve a little bit more into the exotic fruit territory. Service is just OK, but very prompt. The boosts that they put into the smoothies are widely variable based on your needs and don't make the smoothie taste gritty or unnatural. The wraps are also tastier than other comparable healthy smoothie shops, especially the Peanut Butter and Granola, which also has smooth plain yogurt, plenty of honey and raisins. I feel like with a couple more appealing locations and a nicer in-dining area this place could definitely be jumpin. read more

I love coming to pulp to get my fresh squeezed juices. They do all of the work and clean up so I can juice on the go. It is also nice that if you are in a hurry you can call ahead and place your order so it is ready when you get there. No mess no fuss. I also love their wraps and smoothies when I am really hungry. So this place used to be great. A few years ago. I came in everyday to see Kelsey and Kendra, also I loved Lindsey! They were the only ones that seemed to be able to grasp how to make a consistent tasting smoothie. Now every time I go they never taste the same and there is always chunks of fruit in the smoothie and it's either supper supper thin or really icy. I got a regular strawberry extreme today with a red bull added. Now what upsets me the most is that I'm paying extra for the red bull and the workers don't know how to portion correctly so they always make almost double of what the regular size is and then I'm only getting half of the red bull that I'm being up charged for which is super frustrating. The quality of this place has just gone way down and the price for the constant mistakes isn't worth it. I love pulp but the owner seriously needs to retrain the employees and teach them about consistency and what the customer should be getting for what they are paying for. read more
