Stopped for lunch. They do have seating but not a big space. Based on pricing I'd say they're very proud of their product. I ordered to go a gyro sandwich and fries. No drink. Almost $20. Fries were seasoned well and it was a large serving. Enough for three people at least. Gyro was fresh and not salty. Pita was fresh. Can't tell you about the tzatziki because it was scarce. The food is wonderful easily exceeding my expectations for good Mediterranean cuisine. I ordered the Classic gyro and it is the largest I've ever eaten. I'm shocked there's an option to add more meat. The food came really fast although the lean staff is busy completing to go orders. A busy, unpretentious counter-service restaurant with some tables for eat-in dining. I ordered a greek salad and a standard Gyro w/feta. I was hard pressed to finish both dishes. We drove about 15 minutes to get here because of the reviews we read on Yelp. We were not disappointed in the quality of food, the atmosphere, and most importantly, the service from the owner (Pete) and his son (Nick). Based on Pete's recommendation, we ordered a cheddar cheeseburger with grilled marinated onions and grilled mushrooms. Additionally, we ordered a classic gyro and beer battered onion rings. All of the food was excellent. The meat on the gyro was not the least bit greasy like some Greek restaurants, and the vegetables were so fresh and tasty. The gyro was one of the largest gyro sandwiches I've ever had, with so much meat and vegetables. My wife said the burger was absolutely delicious as well. The onion rings were very good and not greasy. Pete recommended his homemade barbecue sauce for the onion rings. I had never tried barbecue sauce with onion rings before, but his sauce was so good that you could dip shoe leather in it and think it tasted wonderful. We travel around the country full time, and we have already saved this restaurant in our "must visit list" when we return to this area of Ohio. Even if you are not a fan of Greek food, the hamburger was top-notch and worth coming there just for that. Equally as important as the great food was how you are treated by Pete and Nick. Within minutes of arriving, I felt like we were seeing an old friend we had not seen in many months. We left feeling like we had made two new friends who happened to make great tasting food. My mom had said great things about this place and then we saw they were #1 on the Yelp Cleveland Top 50 places to eat and that they won an award for best burger in Ohio. All of this meant we were sold on trying it when we relocated our quarantine to my parents house. We got takeout and decided to try a gyro and the Brie burger. For the gyro we got the Titan which has 50% more meat. All of our food was great. I wouldn't order the Titan again because I felt like the meat to topping ratio was off. I took off some of the meat and ate it by itself and then I really enjoyed the gyro. The burger was incredibly flavorful. Unfortunately, they didn't ask me how I wanted it cooked and I forgot to ask for it medium rare. It came well done, so it was way more cooked than I would have liked, but it was still delicious. Covid-19: my mom told us that they were able to pay over the phone and do curbside pickup a couple of months ago. When I called, I could order over the phone but they said I had to come inside to pay (no curbside pickup or paying over the phone). Then when my dad went to pickup the food, he said that neither of the two people he saw/interacted with were wearing masks (and masks are supposed to be required for employees in Ohio). I would have given it 5 stars for the food, but I took off a star for how they are handling Covid-19. While the food was great, I wouldn't go back unless they started wearing masks. read more

First time ever been here and the Gentlemen taking the order was very friendly, Order was for takeout, overall I actually think the Gyros have too much meat on them yes I can't believe I said that but I did. The Gyro Shaved Lamb meat was VERY salty and I do mean VERY salty , it overtook the taste . I didn't care for the tzatziki sauce either seemed to have a funny taste and I don't mean a good one.. Im sure they have some great food , maybe I just got a bad batch. But I like the Gyros at the West side market far much better and there cucumber sauce is outstanding there! In need of a filling lunch, my Dad and I headed to Simply Greek. There were a couple of folks inside already; both sitting and eating and ordering to-go. My Dad really enjoys a good gyro, having them before he'll always get the old faithful. I'm the same way with my Trojan Fries. Simple ingredients put together perfectly. My box is packed with so much food, I will have enough for meals for a couple of days it seems like! The owner brings out the food to us while we get a good laugh from the pictures and posters on the wall. This is a very dependable place. I know I will return. I know my dad will. A nice little find on my travels back to California. This is a one of a kind fast casual restaurant, hand painted wood signs, true Greek blue and white facade as well. Menu is written on a blackboard with colored chalk and has classic Gyros as well as hand crafted burgers. Also french fries are fresh cut and the baklava is made on the premises using actual butter! I ordered a souvlaki gyro to go, it looked really good and had all the usual good fixings. It had the pressed meat rather than true roasted lamb souvlaki though. It was inexpensive so I still give it 5 stars. read more

I ordered a gyro from this place since it was so highly rated. When I got there to pick up I found they were not social distancing. And some of the food prep staff was not wearing masks. I'm in town because both of my elderly parents caught Covid, so this restaurant's negligence makes me angry. I will NEVER go back there. Replying: Thank you Nick for your reply. It sounds like your kitchen is legal but somewhat hazardous, requiring exemptions. My gyro was good but not great. It was overly salty. I've had better in Oakland, CA. (Ikaros is the best and Troy never disappoints) I'm a staunch supporter of local small business. Only not when they put profits above people. When I arrived there were 3 people waiting plus four people in line for the cashier, in approximately 100 square feet, definitely not social distanced. Other local restaurants (Geraci's Pizza for one, and so delicious) are offering curbside pickup, limiting risks for customers and staff. Are you offering/considering anything similar? The sign on your window says, "FIGHT BACK" in huge letters, and, "eat well" added on in small letters. What does this mean to you? Considering the current issues in DC this feels like support for the insurrectionists. If that is not your intention you might want to change the wording. If that is what you intended to imply, then good for you for taking a stand, and you might find a lot of local support. But that would be another reason for me to boycott your business as a way for me to take a stand. I'll look forward to your reply. read more
