We stopped in for Guava Burners smoothies and a few wraps; (honey mustard, Asian chicken and Ceasers chicken wraps). The restaurant was clean and well maintained, and although it was clear that Pulp took proper measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by closing the restrooms and marking the facility for social distancing, people were oblivious to the markings and not practicing safety measures therein. read more

I want to love this place because the location is great for me, but it just isn't that good and I don't understand the hype. Juice and smoothies aren't balanced. Smoothies are like a sugar bomb went off. You hardly get any other flavors through the sweetness. I've tried at least ten times and am every time disappointed. This is hands down my favorite smoothie place! The ladies that work here are super friendly and nice. They also play good music that I'm good with having my kids around. I've been coming here at least once a week for 6 months or so. They offer wide variety of smoothies, fresh squeezed juices, wraps, and açaí bowls. The smoothies are not like Smoothie King where not all of the "fruit" are fruit. I noticeably have more energy during the times I get smoothies more often. They also have wheatgrass and lemon, ginger, turmeric and cayenne shots which help my allergies and colds. I am not a fan of their açaí bowls, there is not enough toppings too make it any different from a smoothie in a cup. My favorite smoothie is the kale ka-pow with no green leafy blend and added raspberry sherbet Pulp has a lot of options to customize your order. They also have soy and almond milk options, whey protein, soy protein, peanut butter, and extra enhancers to help with immunity, hangovers, smart blends, etc. They offer WiFi and comfy couches which makes this a good study spot or a good place to bring your kids and teach them how to play connect 4 or Jenga. You can also call in your orders ahead of time or order online on GrubHub. Every Friday is $4 Friday. All medium smoothies (24 oz) are $4 . I must say that I have only ever had the smoothies at this place, but service bumps it up a star coupled with their $4 Friday promotion. Their flavors have thought put into them and the menu is organized clearly, which I appreciate. To that point, pay attention to the price points. I like to opt for their most curious concoctions on their Friday special. Also, you can pick your add ins, unlike other places, plus if you want more, it's only a 0.50 charge. It makes you feel quite good going to get some fruit when you're right next to a Krispy Kreme, I might add. The girl in charge was treating the new employee very harshly for very small mistakes. It was clear they didn't train her well, she was struggling and needed more guidance. The girl in charge made our wraps and we found 3 hairs in them, we couldn't even finish them we were so grossed out. Called a half hour down the highway and asked if the ingredients were organic. I was put on hold, then told yes they are. We found this place, came in and could not hear ourselves think the music was so loud. Girls were friendly. None of the ingredients are organic however. They have Redbull as an option. My family and I went to Pulp on Saturday. We are new to Rock Hill and have heard nothing but great things about Pulp. And who doesn't love smoothies? Well we didn't on Saturday. I got my 2 older kids a smoothie to share it was a Green's smoothie and we make green smoothies at home all the time tons of flavor and they love them, this one tasted like I mowed my grass. That's all you could taste. I asked if they could make them another one and they did I picked a tropical one for them even that one was horrible no flavor whatsoever. I ordered an açaí bowl. When I got it I just looked at it thinking what on earth is this. I've never in my life seen anything like what they gave me. I don't even think it was real açaí it was runny you needed a straw to drink it not a spoon to eat it. It had no flavor. I wanted to get a refund so bad but I just threw it away and we left. I felt bad since I already asked the girls to make another smoothie for the kids. My husband liked his smoothie he got the protein packer. I wasted $19 lesson learned. I have been to pulp a few times, twice in the morning and 3 times in the after noon before my work shift starts. The times I've visited in the morning I've had bad customer service, treated poorly. The lady that took my order reeked of marijuana I believe her name was jazeeh or jaseah something along those lines and she treated as if she doesn't have any care of her work or customer satisfaction. While when I visited in the afternoons I've had phenomenal care and customer service. When my order was taken by a young lady I believe by the name of brea or bri fairly young with blonde hair, she's taken care of me every time in the afternoon and make sure my smoothies are up to par with standards and has a great upbeat attitude.
