If it were possible to give negative stars, they would receive 10 less than zero from me. Do not…read moretrust the "UPMC" branding of the facility because the quality of the facility, staffing, and care are not the same at all. Go anywhere except to "UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care." The receptionist was exceptionally RUDE and unprofessional. She complained about my being there to sign in, despite the office being open. A person who came in a few minutes after me was turned away even though the waiting room was empty and it was still 30 minutes before close. I did not see or hear any other patients while I was there, so backlog does not seem to have been the problem. The receptionist area was unclean, and so was the waiting area. I spoke up when I heard her complaining to another person behind the window that I was there and was yelled at by her. Note: I was there because my insurance provider asked me to go there to ensure I was not having a heart problem; being yelled and treated horribly by the front staff does not seem a good entrance into a health care facility for anyone. Background on the symptoms was that I felt some twitching and discussed with my insurance's nurse line beforehand whether it could be muscle strain/spasms or if I should be seen. The care I received was very rushed. EKG probes were later found still attached. The doctor told me I was having a major heart attack and needed rushed to an ER. A triage nurse at the ER shortly after read the print out and said it did not indicate anything was wrong at all; and later the ER physician said there was no need for me to been referred t there either: all tests were fine, including the print out from the urgent care facility. I could not recommend UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care to anyone. Please go anywhere except that facility, your health could literally depend on it.

I would give this location zero stars if I could, since…read moreit's changed management the quality of care here has been abysmal. I went recently, while being sick with a viral infection. While the wait time was minimal, roughly five to ten minutes, I also arrived when it first opened. Check in was simple and easy, however the first glaring issue arose when I went into an exam room. The first nurse I saw had difficulty getting my blood pressure, a second nurse had to assist, after telling her my symptoms, all of which were upper respiratory, she ordered a strep test, to which I had very minimal to no related symptoms. I had to suggest, strongly, for a COVID test before finally receiving one. The nurse practitioner that came in after seemed both more nervous than me to be there, and unsure as to why I was there. We discussed my symptoms and she checked my ear canals, which she noted had liquid but offered no treatment options. In fact, there was no diagnosis or treatment options presented to me the entire time I was there. In total, I spent $32 for a co-pay to have my blood pressure repeatedly taken, told I had liquid in my ears, and given an unnecessary test. I was given no diagnosis or treatment plan. My heart goes out to the nurses and doctors that work here, and in healthcare in general. Staffing issues, corporate overlords and private equity has made getting care anywhere harder than it needs to be. That being said, I will not be back, and I would strongly recommend that everyone avoid this location until management changes again.

I'm not sure if my experience is strictly based on covid or not because I'm a fairly new patient to…read morethis office. However, I have never had such a bad experience with a PCPs office before in my life. Back in July I had a very large mass on the front of my throat which was making it hard for me to breathe and swallow. (Clearly not covid. I had a visible lump on my throat.) I came into the office because I was afraid my air supply was going to diminish due to the mass and they made me wait in my car. Because I said "hard for me to breathe" they counted it as a covid apt and made me take a covid test in my car and wouldn't let me into the office until I got my results back. It ended up taking FOURTEEN days for my results to come back. After about a week of not hearing anything I tried calling the office (thinking they forgot to call me or something). NO ONE. ANSWERS. THE PHONE. So I left a message. NO ONE CALLED ME BACK. I left 3 more voicemails over the course of the next week. Literally no one called me back for another week. And this was for an issue unrelated to covid. And I ended up having to go to the ER because my breathing became very difficult. In August I had to go back due to a really bad cough. They didn't test me for covid this time but instead prescribed me a cough medicine and antibiotic. Totally fine. They asked me for my pharmacy and sent me on my way. Even though I gave them my pharmacy information they sent ONE of my scripts to my pharmacy and the other one to a completely different pharmacy. I called the office and asked if they sent that script and they said they would send it again. So they sent it again...to the wrong pharmacy. So I ended up going to that pharmacy to pick up. But for whatever reason they had cancelled the script instead of sending it. So I had to wait for an hour while they resent it and it got filled. Now over a week ago I got contact traced. So I went back to have a covid test. They told me I would have results in 3-5 days but that as of lately it was more likely to be 3. After 6 days of not hearing I called in (because I can't work until I get results and with holidays coming I can't really afford to not work). I left a voicemail...because surprise....no one answered. Then I called back 2 days after that and they didn't answer again. Left another voicemail. So then I had my husband call from his phone since we have a different last name and they answered on the first ring. I'm not typically someone to post negative reviews. Especially since there's a pandemic and I know everyone is trying to do their best. But here I am 8 days later and still no results thinking that they're screening my calls.

I'm back again and have been waiting 2 hours now. And no one EVER answers the phone here. You can call, call, call until you're blue in the face but no none will ever pick up! I will never be going back.
