Wow--after dealing with the (service department) :( giving me the runaround, Amanda stepped in and made sure everything was taken care of. She went above and beyond to resolve my issues and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend reaching out to Amanda for any sales needs or help with anything at all--she truly has your back!

the only reason there is a star is because of JP the salesman who sold us the truck. he was AMAZING…read moreto work with and always there to answer any question or concern of ours. now for the finance manager, we came in on Halloween, i know but they can change hours if it's that big of a deal, he seemed so upset that we came in at the time we did (honestly we didn't think we were going to buy anything) but he rushed us through signing all the paperwork and didn't really say much to me just to my boyfriend. he also seemed upset that i was trying to figure out the insurance and it was taking a little longer then normal but it was later and Halloween so‍. Next the service department: we took his truck in for an oil change, filters, and tire rotations. when we got there they said they'd need to do the transmission fluid flush, we said okay. we got sent a video of some belts that needed repaired, and a missed phone call. we called back less than 10 minutes later and nobody answered. the next day we called again and someone picked up the phone and ended the call. we never got told the truck was ready for pick up, so we showed up and picked it up. when we did, we got told that they did the differentials flushed because they already did the transmission before we bought the truck. there was no phone call of them saying "hey we did this then so would it be okay if we did this?" NO COMMUNICATION. the guy doing the paper work just very fastly showed us the paper but didn't say what was done and said we could look at it later, then we were pushed through signing the papers and handed the keys very fast and pushed out. when we got to the truck we looked through the papers thinking what we asked for was done, and it was not. they had the truck for a day and a half and nothing we asked for was done. i checked the oil and it still looked dirty so i called and they confirm they didn't do anything we asked for but could get us in the following week and do everything for a quote of $150. we tried to call and get ahold of a manager, told they'd call, they never did. we went in a few days later and the service manager (i think) brandon made it sound like we wanted the fluid they did done, we didn't and he said their guy spent an hour and a half doing the diagnostic when we told them not to, i asked what we could do to get back money we spent (almost a grand for nothing we asked for to be done) and he said he could refund us the diagnostic charge but that was it because we asked for everything else. i'm honestly just very disappointed in how this whole process went and them doing services we didn't ask for and being charged for. now i will say shame on us for not looking over the paperwork, but i go to midway and have had never had to double check what work was being done before paying. now we will never not double check. we will NOT be back to knudtsen for ANY service because we'd probably not get what we asked for then get ignored when we tried to call again. overall they all need a meeting to talk about communications to the owners of vehicles before doing services that aren't written down of what paying customers are asking for. we then we and talked to JP about what happened, and he got to hear something else, apparently a manager told them to do it on their dime because it should've been done before they sold it but we still got charged for it and now they're not saying it's on their dime anymore.

Another Incredible Experience at Dave Smith Motors…read more I just wanted to take a moment to thank Murphy and Ridge for taking such great care of us during our family's third car purchase from Dave Smith Motors. We've been buying from them since 2015, and each time reminds me why we keep coming back. Car shopping can be one of the most stressful things a family does, but working with Murphy has always made it feel easy. He's honest, straightforward, and genuinely caring. Ridge was great at walking us through the warranty and GAP options--no pressure, just a real conversation that helped us make the best choices for our needs. Even the little things made a big impact: when we walked in, the lady at the front desk gave our daughter a coloring book. Later, after we had been there for a couple of hours, someone noticed she was getting fussy and brought her a bag of chips. That kind of attention to detail and kindness goes a long way. I truly can't say enough about this experience. There's no question why Murphy and Ridge are part of the dream team. Huge thanks to the leadership at Dave Smith Motors for creating this type of culture. You've earned our loyalty--again. - Cris Engel

When an associate was sent over to talk to us, we were informed that nothing was available in store. My daughter and her husband were also looking for a living room chair. They were never approached, but did hear the "huddle " of associates talking trash about another employee. About 10 minutes later, the associate who that told us nothing was available came up and said there was 1 in the clearance section that was available today. He was unaware of it because he didn't know the inventory and a manager had to tell him about it. When I approached the huddle of 5 associates around the mattress counter to inquire about purchasing the mattresses for the beds, they were annoyed about having their conversation being interrupted and the woman that did get up was very rude when showing me the bunk bed mattresses. Needless to say, I left without them. We also had to ask about getting the bed loaded 15 minutes after completing the purchase. Nobody told the people in the back we had purchased it. Worst experience in a furniture store ever. We will never be back. And I really liked a sectional and power recliner that I willingly walked away from due to the staff. The bed would have been walked away from as well if my husband had not already paid for it when I got back from the mattress counter.

Buyer Beware. They sold us a defective chair and when my wife went to do an even exchange they…read morerefused to exchange. They made her feel so bad and even followed her like she was going to steal something. I tried to work with their Zendesk and feel that as customers the company is just not wanting to make things right and correct this situation with an easy exchange. As a business owner, I would never want any of my customers to walk away feeling the way my wife did when she went back to ask for an even exchange of the chair. It isn't about the money, but more about how everything was handled. Instead of just doing an even exchange and being done with this nightmare they rather throw out good customer service? That is definitely not a good business model for any business and I was hoping I was dealing with someone with some good customer service skills. I just have a hard time understanding that they rather lose a customer and not gain future customers all over an even exchange? I really feel I wasted their time and they truly do not care about how they are viewed.
