My smash burger came out different than I was expecting, the patty was thicker than I'm used to for a smash burger but it was still flavorful and delicious. The inside of this place is a bit dark but has a cool vibe and it is also kid friendly. We didn't have any kids with us but there were other families that had young kiddos there. When we are back in town we will definitely stop here again for dinner.

Despite being completely overwhelmed and handling more than seven tables on her own -- while also bussing tables -- she still managed to provide excellent service and made sure our food arrived in a timely manner. She truly did the best she could under the circumstances, and it did not go unnoticed. The reason for the 3-star rating is primarily due to the establishment being severely understaffed during our visit. In addition, the overall presentation and cleanliness of the venue appeared neglected, likely from the UFC fight night event held the evening prior. I do want to give credit where it's due though -- Tabitha remained professional, attentive, and hardworking throughout the entire experience. I didn't personally get to see them, but there are said to be nearly 20 miles of catacombs beneath the hotel. Kevin at the front desk checked us in and was a lot of fun. Very personable and helpful. Samir who was also the manager, was helped us with our reservation issues and was there when we checked out. He was amazing, helpful and just a sweetheart. I highly recommend a stay here while out on the the Route 66 roadtrip or just anytime in the San Bernardino area. But early morning there was a load of old classics that came driving thru taking photos. It was nice to see. They have coffee complimentary in office. We are not coffee drinkers so passed on the offer. There is tons of things to buy for moments in office plenty to see. They offer cable and had showtime available as a prime channel. I brought my own Brunswick bowling shoes, but I was still told I had to rent a pair anyway. The employee even said I could "just do whatever with them," which honestly makes no sense and feels like an unnecessary charge. Policies like that don't feel customer-friendly. To be fair, Big Al's is a fun place overall. The arcade games and general hangout vibe are great, and I'd still come back for that.
