Pump and Splash was an absolute pleasure to work with. I witnessed the magic a few years ago at a birthday party, and never forgot it. When my kids were old enough and timing aligned, I knew I had to book the machines for our own party. Both owners were extremely wonderful to work with, and extremely accommodating even though my reservation was somewhat tentative (dependent upon construction). Still, the party was a smashing success! We rented all six machine options, and all of the kids at the party were enthralled by the contraptions. Ages range from one till eight, and seriously every single child was occupied for several hours. It was the perfect option for a summer birthday party in the middle of the valley heat. I love the idea that the kids learn physics while they play, and they get wet. Such a phenomenal idea, business, customer service, etc. I'll recommend it to anyone and everyone. Pump and Splash is a must-have addition to your summer parties. Their machines are galvanized steel buckets outfitted with cool pumps and gizmos that move/splash water. They have 6 kinds that do different things. It is an amazing way to keep kids entertained at a birthday party because kids + water = fun. Just so you know, these are incredibly unique and you really won't find these water toys anywhere else. I had decided to rent four pumps from Pump and Splash very early on having played with them at another party. However, I didn't actually try to book until a few weeks before my party. Even though they were pretty much booked solid, Dave, one of the co-owners, made magic happen and found two big pumps (Racer and Duck Splash - $275) that fit into their schedule. It was such a nice feeling that you called the company phone number, reached an owner, who cared enough to try, and maneuvered the delivery schedule to accommodate my party. The kids LOVED the pumps. Racer is set up with two pumps on either side and the idea is that you want to pump the most water into a bucket hanging in the middle, fill it up, and splash the other person. Duck Splash is a series of water slides and rubber duckies. Our guests were kids from age 2 - 7 and they all enjoyed it. Everyone got wet and had loads of fun. On the day of, a very courteous and friendly driver dropped off and set up the pumps and, after the party, drained them and packed them up. We have winter babies and party planning is always difficult on account on the weather in March. Pump and Splash was amazing and very understanding with our recent booking. We booked the 5 pump package for about 26 kids, ages 2 (with supervision) through 11. They were a complete hit. Parents enjoyed watching their little ones tinker and play. Every single child played! Even the cool kids. One of the older kids told her mom, "Mom this is the first party that doesn't suck." Coming from a tween we took the compliment as a testament about how much fun the pumps were. Amazing addition to any kid's party! We've booked them twice so far and their equipment have always been the most popular entertainment for the kids, favored more than bounce houses, ponies, or pools! The sweet spot seems to be kids between 2-6 years old as the babies may struggle to reach the handles. Their service is wonderful too. Abraham came to set up all the equipment and it is a ton of work to put together equipment this well made and sturdy. My 1.5 year old loved it, until he fell straight over the edge headfirst into the water deep enough to drown. I was glad I was right next to him observing, but still quite the scare. Other water tables are higher and don't have a drowning risk. This one needs a lifeguard watching closely. read more

I highly recommend Pump and Splash! Aileen was very responsive and accommodating to my last-minute upgrade to get all 6 pumps. (If you are on the fence, I say go for it if you have space! The two pumps that you get if you order all 6 were very popular at our party. They are also the biggest, though.) I was interested in booking them for a small end of summer party for my young kids. I wanted the 4 pumps package. The reply I got was that they were available on my date but wanted to UPCHARGE me to the 5 or 6 pumps package. They also wanted to charge me an "out of area" fee, which I wouldn't have minded, but I was within their 30 miles radius posted on Yelp to my city. A potential customer should be able to book exactly what they want without having to be forced to pay more money. That's absolutely poor customer service and a bad business model!!! Too bad. This was the best idea we could have possibly had for our 3-year-old's birthday party. We had ten kids in total and rented four pumpers for our backyard. They were spaced out well and were just the right amount. Between the wheel, the bucket tipper, the spraying one and the smaller size splash tub, it was perfect. My son turned 3 recently and we rented 5 of these pumps for our backyard summer birthday. My sons preschool rents these on occasion, so we knew 3-yr-olds love them, but were nervous about 10 other kids ranged 3-9. Huge hit with everyone! They arrived early and set everything up quickly. We moved a patio umbrella to shade a bit and I bought cheapy water pump guns on Amazon for the older kids. Not a single kid stopped playing long enough to come inside and eat pizza. It's great because it is echo friendly because you don't keep running water but instead it recycles the water in the pumps.
