We celebrated my daughter's birthday at Reptacular Ranch, and I honestly cannot say enough amazing things about our experience. From the very beginning, the owner Jennifer was incredibly responsive to all of my texts and questions. She was so kind and helpful, and she made the whole planning process feel easy and stress free. That alone was such a relief when organizing a big party. The animal handlers Crystal, Alicia, and Jessica were absolutely wonderful. They were super friendly, patient with the kids, and incredibly knowledgeable about all the animals. You could tell they genuinely love what they do. They did not just handle the animals, they truly engaged the kids and made everything educational and fun. On top of that, they even helped us set up the party and our food, which was above and beyond what we expected. The party is hosted on the side of the ranch that sits between the animal pens and a playground, along with a picnic area and bleachers for the educational animal presentation. The setting is so unique and fun. It truly feels like you are right in the middle of the ranch experience. The birthday package includes up to 40 guests, and that number includes the birthday family. Guests 2 years old and younger do not count toward the guest capacity, which is such a helpful detail for families with little ones. You also have the option to add more guests (which we had to do) for an additional fee per guest but you are capped at 60 guests for birthday parties. If your party is over 60 guests, it will need to be hosted on the wedding venue side of the ranch and will cost more due to additional fees and a required deposit. Just keep in mind that the wedding venue side obviously does not have the same play structure area, and the playground added so much fun to the birthday party. I truly feel it would not be as exciting for the kids without that space to run and play between activities. The party also included drinks and plenty of pizza for our guests. They estimate one slice per child and two slices per adult, and it was the perfect amount. The pizza is catered from Vincenzo's Pizza of Noho, and it was delicious. If you need more food, you can also order additional items directly from their menu, which is really convenient. As part of the party, we received a full tour of the ranch where the kids were able to pet tortoises, lizards and a variety of farm animals. The animal presentation was such a highlight. They brought out exotic insects, a chinchilla, guinea pigs, different birds, and several kinds of lizards and snakes including a boa. The kids were completely amazed and so excited. At the end, we even got to take pictures with Herbie the hybrid camel, which was such a fun and memorable moment. Overall, the party was an absolute blast. The kids had a wild time, and parents kept asking how we found this place and saying it was the best birthday party they have ever been to. My husband and I held our wedding at the Reptacular Ranch in Sylmar, and it was truly incredible in every possible way. From the moment we booked, Cory and his team provided a magical, welcoming atmosphere--but the true star of our experience was our on-site coordinator, Diana (who also runs Just Imagine It!). Diana was an absolute lifesaver and the most brilliant coordinator we could have asked for, especially when we experienced unexpected rainfall on our wedding day. She was calm, communicative, and completely on top of everything both before and during the event. She made sure beautiful tents were erected quickly, decorated our tables with our own décor, kept everything perfectly on schedule, and coordinated seamlessly with all our vendors. What truly touched us were the little things--she regularly checked in on us, made sure we had food and drinks when we were too busy to get them ourselves, and anticipated needs we didn't even know we had. She went so far above and beyond that I honestly can't imagine the day without her. We also opted for the Ranch's beer burro and petting zoo, and our guests were absolutely enchanted. People couldn't stop talking about how unique, warm, and joyful the whole atmosphere was. I had the best time at reptacular ranch. I was on TikTok and there is a organization called Los Angeles social events. I saw there would be camping and it was at this ranch. I was so excited and it met my expectations 100%. The owners Cory and Jen are amazing. They have a great family and have build this place from the ground up. 15 acres I mean just wow! It's very clean and the animals are well kept. It's crazy how it doesn't smell. You would think a ranch with all of these animals it would have a smell but it wasn't that at all. Christina one of their workers you could tell knows so much about all of the animals. From their breed to their age etc. (goats, sheep, lamb, alpacas, dogs, lizards, rooster, emus, camel, tortoise, donkeys etc) I did camel riding and it was my first time. Not as scary as I though and they give a demonstration to ensure you're safe and comfortable. They also have 100 weddings per year. Reptacular Ranch was a big part of why we loved our wedding. Animal lovers will obviously be obsessed, and even the boring animal-neutral people in your life will come away with some great stories. Cory was very easy to work with and accommodating across the board. The staff was super friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Feels like you're in the middle of nowhere, but you're close enough to take a quick Uber back to the Valley. The venue already has a fun aesthetic, but there's still plenty of opportunities to make it your own with decorations. One little thing that I loved is that the hills keep the sun out of your eyes in the ceremony space, so we were able to have a 3pm ceremony (in November) and no one was getting blasted with the sun. read more

Reptacular Animals came through for us BIG TIME with gorgeous animals for our 23rd annual Living Nativity! When we could not reach our long time animal people, we kinda panicked! A lot of people come just to see the animals. I made one call to Reptacular, and suddenly I was having a lovely conversation with owner, Jennifer. And they were available for our dates! They drove 2 hours each way, four nights in a row to accommodate us. The staff was prompt, and very professional. They even brought and wore appropriate time period costumes for themselves and the gorgeous camels, Sully, Chico, and Herbie! PEOPLE LOVED IT!! What really stood out the most to us was not only their fantastic energy with our guests, but how they treated their animals! So much love, care and kindness.
