We came to Pump It Up for a children's party and I brought my daughter. I like the idea and the overall setup, the inflatable rooms are fun and the kids enjoyed themselves. However, the party felt really rushed. They schedule parties back to back, and each section is only available for a limited amount of time. There was someone who came in to lead activities with the kids here and there, which was nice, but everything moved very quickly. For the cost, it personally wasn't worth it to me. In the glow-in-the-dark room, the balloons never dropped, which felt like a waste because the kids were excited and waiting for it. One of the air hockey machines kept cutting off, and another one wasn't working at all. Parking is also horrible, which added extra stress before the party even started. Overall, it's a decent concept and the kids still had fun, but between the rushed schedule, the issues with activities, the parking, and the price, it wasn't the best experience. read more

I had an infamous pump it up party for my son's birthday! It was easy to book online and they even have coupons so look out for those ! It's also easy to call and get all your questions answered, setup the food and any add ons! We added on the neon room package and the kids loved it! Shout out to our party attendant, Muzainah, she played games with the kids and made sure we had everything we needed. My baby has such an amazing time! I loved how everything is timed and how we have to follow our schedule and how coordinated everything was. The food was OK. I will say the pizzas could be worked on. I felt like they were not the best pizzas we had and the fruit was very ripped. It is quite expensive so I feel like they should work on their food. The other comment that I had and it's more like an observation I did feel like it was unnecessary for them to make comments about us leaving the party room on time if not they would charge more money. One of my family members overheard them speaking about charging more money if we wouldn't leave the room at the right time and I just feel like they need to work on not speaking about customers in front of them. This is honestly one of the worst Pump It Up locations I've been to. A deep cleaning is needed and it wouldn't hurt to actually have a heater of some sort going on- factoring the cold, wintery season. My daughter received an invite for a classmates birthday party here at the Union City location. Having been to two other Pump It Up establishments, I was feeling pretty good about coming here. Front row parking is extremely limited but there are plenty of additional spaces around the corner. Finding a spot shouldn't be hard at all. My daughter and I arrive and let the staff know we were here for a birthday party- this is the time when you will need to sign/review any waivers if you didn't previously. The kids are brought into the first room. Truly spacious but also dingy, 100% COLD. Come with your little ones equipped with layers depending on the ongoing weather!! Here, they had a bubble machine going on, foam parts for building and stacking, and 4 inflatable houses to enjoy. The 2nd room where the party was ushered to contained 3 inflatable slides and a target shooting area. Again, still very very cold. The highlight of this room was the fast pace slide. The kids repeatedly went up and down, sliding down head first. The final step was the party room where all the dining and cake happened. Shout out to the young lady who served guests, prepared cake, and was patient with all of the little kiddos. This truly was the highlight of the entire visit. Restrooms were fairly clean but that factors in our party being the first one hosted for the day. There were unfortunately issues where parents were complaining over the lack of hand soap readily available. 3 stars overall. My kid had a good time and that's what truly was important. The freezing temps did not phase any of the little rugrats. While I wouldn't want to host anything here personally, I would return should anyone happened to. Come prepared and dressed accordingly bc I can't imagine ac being blasted on a hot summer day if they couldn't be bothered to warm up the building during the Winter. read more

I wanted to share feedback from the party I had last Sunday. My party coordinator was Naz, and it didn't feel like she was fully trained or engaged in the role. The kids had more energy than she did, and overall she didn't come across as excited, welcoming, or attentive--there was very little smiling or enthusiasm. Since this is a kids' party environment, that energy and customer service presence really matters, especially for a party that costs $700+. For context, I've had parties here for the last couple of years and have consistently had great experiences. In particular, the supervisor Sameer has been excellent--he clearly explained the timing sheet, walked me through transitions (including when we'd move to food), and honestly made me feel like a real host. That kind of leadership and communication is exactly what makes Pump It Up worth coming back to. With Naz, the room transitions were also handled poorly. Instead of a friendly heads-up and guidance, it was more of a blunt "it's time to move rooms." Because of that, some of my guests left items behind (shoes in the cubbies). In past parties, attendants usually remind guests to grab their belongings before moving. That small step makes a big difference. I'm not writing this to be rude--I'm writing it because I've had a strong history with Pump It Up and I want the experience to stay consistent. Please look into additional training/coaching for Naz around customer service, party flow, and how to communicate transitions in a friendly way. read more

Wow! What an amazing place. This is a great spot to take your kid on any day. We opted to go before summer as we tend to be really busy in the summer. My kid loves the friendly enviornment and the jumpers! I've always had a positive expierence coming here! Best part about this place is that the jumpers are in a climate controlled setting so if it's too hot or too cold outdoors it is a great place to take your kids. Rain or shine, my son loves it here - the jumpers, the glow-in-the-dark jump, of course, the upbeat music and free Wi-Fi (free Wi-Fi is for me ). As always, all staff are super nice and very helpful. A bit pricey, in my opinion. I've paid about the same amount for a whole day of playtime plus in-and-out privileges. Sometimes going to the park is not enough to get the weekday zoomies out of our system. We went on a minimum day after school and it was really nice. I was instantly greeted and employees were really nice! I noticed how clean it was walking in, and with jumpers thay is really important. They enforce socks which I really appreciate as someone who gets icked out by no socks in play areas. If you forget some, they sell some there. Looks like they do parties here as well! I like that the family jump is divided into two segments, jump with lights on and then they have a seperate room where it is glow in the dark! I am not one to write reviews but this was a terrible experience. It has been cold so we decided to go to pump it up and pay $20 per child for open play inside. I should have just gone to a park to freeze for free! It was 58 degrees inside the play place! When I asked for heat I was told they couldn't do that. When I asked someone else, he said he would tell his supervisor, Sammy. The supervisor then said he already turned it on (so he previously lied to me?) We have been here for 2 hours and the temp is barely 60 degrees (against both OSHA and California code). Keep your kids home or go to a park to freeze and save your money! read more

I do not recommend Pump It Up as a venue for birthdays, I booked my daughter's 3rd birthday here back in 2022, they forced children to wear masks even though the mask mandate was moved to suggested and not mandatory. The reason was because it was their policy and they were not allowed to let children into the play area without one. Mind you this was the day of the party so there was no other option but comply so we did. Since then we did attend a birthday party and besides the inappropriate music being played for a 5 year old's party, we had a good time. Putting that aside the past experience we considered to book our son's 3rd birthday party there. Today (Nov 28, 2023) I received an email from Pump It Up at 4:03pm advertising for their Cyber Monday offer of 10% off new party reservations, I go to book the party and the code was invalid, so I call the location to book over the phone since the email stated that the offer was good if new parties were booked on Nov 27 & Nov 28. When the associate read the fine print of the offer it said that needs to be booked by Nov 26th!? If that was the case why send me an email at 4pm two days after?!? For the amount of money spent to book a party and the poor management of this company I don't ever plan on booking a party here again. read more

We had a party here for my son. It's the second time we have a party here for him. We love that it's private and check in is so easy and doesn't cut into your jump time! If some guests are late they're guided to your party and they are able to Select your party as they're checking in. We had the 15 kids party pack and we ordered several pizzas. We brought our own chips and water. We travel the distance because of the privacy. You go from one jumpy room to another with your own guests- about 25 minutes each. My kids love all the slides and different activities they have. The host was very friendly and helpful and they helped setup the room and serve the pizza, drinks and cake.
