This is a nice park that has tennis courts, playground and a baseball field. It is right off a reasonably busy street so be careful with the little ones. It is pretty well maintained and I enjoyed going down the cement slides on the cardboard sheet!

a review from @amom2kidsandapark Two playgrounds, tennis courts (six full tennis courts, two half tennis courts with a wall) basketball court, ball fields, and a cement slide!? This park has it all. We were tipped to this park from a follower! Thank you! The newer playground has a climbing some, teeter-totter (watch out for the broken plexiglass. It's been taped up to cover any blunt edges but it's still there), a spinning sphere, a swing set with bucket swings only, and a short structure with activities, stairs, a straight double slide, and a disk hammock. There isn't much shade over the structure, but there is plenty by the swings (including a bench). There are two circled areas with a rock border filled with wood chips but I'm guessing these used to be a sandbox. Over the hill is another playground with two slides (spiral and sidewinder), crawl through tunnel, steps, ladders, monkey bars, and monkey rings. This area has a swing set with standard swings only. Separating the two playgrounds is a small hill with the CEMENT SLIDE . It isn't too steep and therefore very smaller kid-friendly. I tried to go down without a seat and I barely moved. There were so many damp cardboards around but nothing too great. We used the change table pad in my diaper bag ‍‍ and it worked perfectly. Similar to the older Union City parks I've visited, this park has a lot of well-maintained cement sidewalks ideal for biking/scooting. Just like the name of the park says, there is a veteran's memorial but it is a bit of a way away from the two play areas. There is a bathroom nearby the playground with picnic tables and BBQs. To be closest to the playgrounds, street parking can be found on Gacoscos St or Hall Ranch Parkway. Knocked off a star because I picked up a big bag full of trash before taking my photos

Morning quick wake up walk? Check!

Playing tennis with my nephew I love it here, I can either run for loops or play tennis. I pretty much enjoy listening from the smashed of the tennis ball against the wall, there's so much adrenaline happening here, whether you play bball at the court, smashed tennis ball against the wall, or with an opponent, or run around in circles or just chill and watch everybody. Oh the last part, may sound creepy. lol! But I like to observe. ;)

I attended an event at the park. It was a large area that accommodated many vendors and allowed a large amount of room for our spectators.

There's a small playground with a cool cement slide that kids love to zoom down on with cardboard underneath them.

a review from @amom2kidsandapark…read more It was hot today and this park seemed like the perfect destination...sea breeze, amiright? No. No, I'm wrong. There's a large man-made hill between the park and the shore blocking any and all "sea breeze". With zero to no shade over the structure, it's safe to say we didn't stay here long. The park is pretty large with two ball fields and plenty of grass in between (no permanent outfield boards so it's essentially a huge open field with some dirt and a backstop on either corner). The entire park has paved sidewalks all around, especially near the playground where the sidewalks weave in and out of picnic tables and a man-made grove of small/someday giving shade trees. That's one thing this park really has going for it, there's a lot of trees. The play structure is in a circle format with bridges or a crawl tunnel connecting platform to platform. This format really allows for younger children not yet ready for the suspended lily pads or monkey bars to have fun and enjoy the entire structure. There are three slides (sidewinder, tube, double), steps, various ladders, activities, and the before mentioned crawl tube that can almost act as a fourth slide because of the angle. No swings or playground extras. While there is a parking lot and bathroom it couldn't be any farther from the playground. We parked on Point Lobos Ct which is much closer to the playground but we still had to walk a few minutes to get to the playground since it's tucked in the back corner. This park is great for biking and scootering or even stroller walks since it has a lot of long sidewalks.
